Hey Knox, I wanted to share something interesting with you. I recently watched a video that showcased all the song samples used in MTBMB Side B. At 4:20 in 'Book Of Rhymes,' I noticed something fascinating when Eminem tells Premo to "take us out." Premo scratches in two samples. The first is Nas's 'The World Is Yours' (as Nas already says, "Writin in my book of rhymes"), and the second is Eminem's'own song 'The Ringer' from Kamikaze. It was incredible how these two samples were seamlessly integrated into the track. Whoever came up with that idea is a genius!
Knox does a great job breaking down bars, but really appreciate all of the insight he provides about production and other technical things. No other reaction channels offer that as far as I know.
You’ve found so many bars and explained it so good !! I’m from Germany and it helps me so much to understand what Eminem wants to tell us when some G’s like you break it all down . Thank you homez!!

Merry Aussie Xmas Knoxxy boy, thank you for doing Book of Rhymes! This is my fav song from him... it's personal, the ending links back up to the beginning... the scratching at the end is beautiful to just cap it off... just the production overall is gorgeous - repeated (reverb/echo) lines, a pitched down verse, a condensed verse with the least amount of words yet with the most meaning describing his career with a dark piano behind it... it's all here.

Knox, when you pointed out that Em himself uses his rhymes as a literal drum and that a drummer would really appreciate what he does. I now just want a song where Em hits up someone like Travis Barker and I wanna hear what Em would sound like over an actual drum (maybe I am out the loop and he's already done it) but man I would love to hear Em rap over a drum beat by Travis. @@newbeginning2045 Not really... Would you play something on repeat you don't understand and are not feeling because you don't understand it? Some people can just go off the beat and cadences/sound of vocals without understanding a word but then there are those where the content of the song (and understanding) it is what actually matters... Not to mention it indirectly implies that the comment they replied to isn't something that's common when it actually is. Instead of "that makes sense", it's "interesting comment" as if it's unusual... All I did was point out that it's common and broke it down. It's the kind of thing that if they actually **think** for more than 2 seconds, they would have realized that... Just like if you had actually thought about what I was saying in my own comment, instead of trying to read what you want into it, you'd realize that all I did was break it down and explain why it's not actually an "interesting" comment as "interesting" implies something unusual, unexpected, or out of the norm. An example of something that would actually interesting is a performing clown was actually a neurosurgeon, for example, and not something along the lines of "the grass is tall becuse I haven't mowed". Just sayin... Wish people would put more thought and effort into the things they say instead of wasting everyone's time by saying what is essentionally nothing at all, but it is what it is I guess.

The paper's authors, two pharmacologists with a shared interest in humor, reviewed about 5,000 studies. They found that intense laughter can trigger fainting, asthma attacks, protrusion of abdominal hernias, headaches, incontinence, jaw dislocation, and arrhythmia. It's also a rare cause of Boerhaave's syndrome, a spontaneous hole in the esophagus that's more commonly the result of vomiting. We don't know how much laughter is safe, study author Robin E. He noted that laughing very hard can also rupture an aneurysm or be a symptom of something dire, like a seizure or a stroke. I agree, not only breakdown of lyrics but song writing period, you can tell be does this for real!! Great Knox!
Got my Master's from NO Life, attending Knox Hill for my PHD 🔥🔥🔥 Nothing slips past this man!
Same here bruh👊💪
Now work with stevie knight and third ernst
Y'all need to go check out Chaos Theory. Its a fire album.
You’ve found so many bars and explained it so good !!
I’m from Germany and it helps me so much to understand what Eminem wants to tell us when some G’s like you break it all down .
Thank you homez!!
Watching him catching these impossible to catch bars like a pro, I really want an Eminem ft.knox hill 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Hope his talent hits em's radar as soon as possible, i can see his potential, he's really capable.
2:39 man ,nobody in this fucking earth caught that, but you're soooooooooooooo genius ,man i really appreciate your work, keep shredding
I sus him at this point lol
Stevie knight also caught that 🔥
@@gojosensei832 Nope, Stevie talked about something else.
So happy I’m early enough to tell you you’re my favorite breakdown channel. You catch everything and most channels dont
you're so underrated, i didn't even Understand, btw you breakdown with so tidy and clearly.....
best-breakdown channel....
@KnoxHill, my dude, I’ve listen to 15-20 different reactors over the years.. 2 or 3 of them have stood out to me and those 2-3 I still follow. BUT BROOO, never in my life have I watched and listened to someone as complex, thorough, musically and intellectually observant as you. You’re something really really special. PLEASE don’t stop your music, your reactions, and your presence on any of your platforms. Regardless of what it is you continue to do, you will find success. Never stop bro. I am a subscriber, and will be a supporter and a long term fan of you.
The piano in the background at 39:02 is crazyyyyy. It creates a sense of uneasiness and anticipation. So cool
"He is in a nuclear war with a cloud, he is yelling at it again" also a reference to the Simpsons where a newspaper has the headline "old man yells at cloud" basically saying people hate on him because of his age too
Never put that together. Lol thanks!! 💕
I've been waiting for a reactor to being this one up, classic
🤯
Yeah cool thanx think dat parts funny
Nice catch!!
42:00 "I love how Em pays homage to hip hop and the greats"
Me, an intellectual: I love how Knox while reacting, pays homage to all the artists, big and small, and to the game.
Thank you for appreciating Primo!
Merry Christmas, brother. Lots of love.
You’re one of the best reactionist. You catch so many details and actually make the songs appeal more.
Merry Christmas bro. God bless
You can tell just by listening to you speak on everything in every video you do that you’re extremely intelligent and knowledgeable on all kinds of things and it really ads a lot to the reaction as a whole. Keep up the amazing work knox.
Wow!! Knox so glad I checked out it channel. To address every element of a track is insane. The way you go into the delivery the visuals in vids etc that's awesome man. Breakdowns truly next level. Hope to see your channel continue to grow, your amazing!
Knoxhill and thethirdernest are the best in breaking down ems lyrics. I'm dutch and without knox and ernest i wouldn't understand a big part of em's wordplay simply because don't live in America and english is of course not my first language.
Props to knox!
stevie knight is up there with them... When it comes to breakdowns these are the top 3 reactors on youtube BY FAR
same man!
Same over here
@@DriveTech.Essentials VibeVilla also catches a lot of bars
I had the exact same feeling at the end of my first listen. You appreciate every element of a song as I do. Thanks for this great breakdown, from the wordplay to the technical aspects.
Hey Knox! I love this song, it's one of my favourites from the album, and thank you for breaking it down!!
I love watching Stevie Knight reviewing songs. Stevie is so funny, but when I'm in need for a professional breakdown of rhymes and beats I'll come here!! Knox is the absolute number one!!
He be too much sometimes
This is by far the best breakdown on Em ever!! Knox's knowledge is something else. Thank You , you made my day bro.
Pac and Em fans are united at exposing Snoop's backstabbing shenanigans. I love it.
Edit: Nas also has a track called "book of rhymes" from the God son album. Is that a shout out to him too lowkey?
I think nas is one of his top rappers
Merry Aussie Xmas Knoxxy boy, thank you for doing Book of Rhymes! This is my fav song from him... it's personal, the ending links back up to the beginning... the scratching at the end is beautiful to just cap it off... just the production overall is gorgeous - repeated (reverb/echo) lines, a pitched down verse, a condensed verse with the least amount of words yet with the most meaning describing his career with a dark piano behind it... it's all here.
"I'm east side" is from the ringer isnt it??
Merry Aussie Xmas
@@ivoryadeline9563 im asking the same question, anyone can tell me what is it mean?
@@raisaapriliani2717 what? east side? so in the ringer, which is the song the person @ was talkin bout, is says "im east side, never be caught slippin now you see why". as well as him saying im east side is the same ppl use west side, its which side of america they was born and raised from
@@raisaapriliani2717 east side of 8mile in Detroit michigan where he grew up:)
You show a true passion in these breakdowns man. Most reactions are just that. Reactions. You dissect this shit. Explain it even to the layman's. Love it dude. Keep up the good work brother.
Best rap reactor back at it again. I was damn near exited as much to listen to your review of each track as listening to the album lol Great job as always, that song is a banger in the beginning
I truly hope Eminem finds you and you do a song together!! You are so knowledgeable and it’s amazing to watch you break it down. I never was a fan of these but you and @stevieknight have changed my mind and it’s just fun to watch another side of my favorite person Eminem :) good job! Also you’re a great rapper don’t let anyone bring you down!😊
The one I love about your videos is that.....how passionate are you about the lyrical rap......and btw love your new song.....and chaos theory.
I’ve seen so many channels miss so many bars… your analysis is so perfect on every song. I love that you recognize technical abilities as well. Keep it up man! (Also, your music SLAPS)
Amazing breakdown and reaction Knox!
Knox, I fucking love you man. You're appreciation and love for music and eminem's is amazing. You dumb it down (breakdown) for people who don't catch the doubles or rhyme schemes etc. Just amazing job man. You're the best at what you do. Hands down 👏👏🙌
Knox, your breakdowns are Phenomenal, been saying that since the beginning. True eminem fans appreciate your appreciation for his mystery. Thank you for making me enjoy this track even more, and I listen to music, I don't just skim through it. Beautiful.
That's when he ties it all together, when he says your opinions like a broken calculator it doesn't count I love Eminem I knew it I knew he was talking about him because I k that em's a real one, tells you my age I know about that song ,you're so funny and you are a great reactor one of the best if not the best I say it all the time Knox Hill, Plus I am one of your fans, patreon , and I have been for a long time i know u have twin girls and you work hard , and I don't know if you're reading the comments from your album but I heard four songs so far and they are great . Not one is bad and I'm not lying ! Go check it out. Mia
I really appreciate these breakdowns man, you genuinely are the best at this. I'm not a native speaker so thanks to you I can understand the meaning of the bars without checking Genius. I also like how you emphasize Em's cadence in his songs because I think it is not appreciated enough. Keep it up man, I'll also check out your new album.
Maaan that was an outstanding reaction/breakdown.
I live coming back to these old breakdowbs every now and then and it always makes me wonder if em watches them because hes got to appreciate the effort and the amout that u actually catch over other reactors
Great reaction man. I've been saying that this B-Side is Em literally going for it, and enjoying himself. The schemes, the wordplays. He is on a whole fucking level, and is just vibing. Love this mood from him.
I didn't realize how good this song was until I heard your breakdown. Cause to me just listening, it's not a song to put on repeat, not for me anyway. But now that I get it all, it can go on repeat!
Interesting comment
@@newbeginning2045 Not really... Would you play something on repeat you don't understand and are not feeling because you don't understand it? Some people can just go off the beat and cadences/sound of vocals without understanding a word but then there are those where the content of the song (and understanding) it is what actually matters... Given you're on a lyricist breakdown channel watching a breakdown of one of the most lyrical artists ever... Just sayin. (I fit in the latter category personally... Just like the commenter you replied to.)
@@squall7734 but bro he just wrote "interesting comment "
@@punchlinerwokle7850 You act like I was being mean when I'm wasn't... It's either a troll comment or an extremely lazy comment due to just how vague it is (as it adds absoutely nothing)...
@@squall7734 Troll comment? Dude are you serious? You think this looks funny, it's cringe bro. Dude i respect your opinion also you tried to crack jokes and i agree with you. Laughter is good for your psychological well-being and cardiovascular health, but (don't laugh) it could also kill you, report researchers in the British Medical Journal's special Christmas issue. Ferner of The University of Birmingham told The New York Times. There's probably a U-shaped curve: laughter is good for you, but enormous amounts are bad, perhaps. Instagram begins testing Collab feature in India giving users an option to co-create Feed Posts and Reels. Mozilla slams facebook for terminating the accounts of NYU researchers, says the claims 'simply do not hold water. James Hamblin, a physician who covers health for The Atlantic, wrote a 2011 essay for Splitsider all about laughter and death. He noted that laughing very hard can also rupture an aneurysm or be a symptom of something dire, like a seizure or a stroke. Still, while the harms of laughter are real, there's no need to worry if thinking about them induces a chuckle. The benefit-harm balance, the BMJ authors conclude, is probably favourable. So i think your joke makes no sense also your opinion is useless.
That's why I come here even though I've watched other reactions/breakdowns to this song.... You catch shit that flies over our heads 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
*Ayyyyeeee Knox, you don't just do reactions, you do breakdowns. I have yet to see another channel breakdown lyrics AND the track from a producer's perspective. To catch technical aspects of an Eminem track AND catch his doubles, triples, cadence, flow switches, and more...*
*I'm glad you're finally getting the recognition you deserve bro!*
No life gang member here but HUGE fan of yours now too!!!!!!! U 2 should link up!
I really feel you on the best friend flow thought at the second verse! Love that feature!
Who says rap isn't poetry? That's exactly what it is. Started w djs scratching beats at parties. Then people started rhyming poetry over it. All music is poetry.
RAP is literally an acronym for Rhythm and Poetry.
Dat's TUFF mann #nolifegang
Glad I saw Shaq shout you out, you're phenomenal with the bar breakdowns. 💪 Keep up the good work!!
Damn this guy Knox understands everything immediately. Catching the Psychology (Amygdala bar) to Biology (the sodium bar from Gnat) great breakdown
The sodium being a salt is chemistry
I've returned to this video 3 years later. One of my favorite songs displaying elite lyricism and by far one of the best breakdowns of a song period.
Em is rapping against himself at this point an insane monster 👹. EM CAN’T BE STOPPED!
Lmfao!! 🤣🤣🤣 his reaction when that Ghost Rider line hit!! 🤣 that was awesome, he pauses it as that line starts and explains the fire off the dome like his head spits fire etc, and I'm just sitting here smiling and I said to myself, "just wait til that Ghost Rider line hits" then he plays it again and finishes that part and omg, his face when he heard it?! And the "fuck you Em", I literally laughed out loud at that reaction, that was amazing thanks for that Knox i loved it 😂🖤
I normally dislike longer reaction videos. @knoxhill changed that. Keep it up. 🤘🏻
I wish Em would see your great work !
Thank you for shareing this details with us.
I feel like makes music just for Knox cause this is the only person that gets and appreciate everything in the songs
Very detailed how you speak, i can see that you understand the craft. Much love from germany
Just rewatch this breakdown man.. what a Great dissector you are Knox! Eminem must have one HELLA pleasure watching your breakdowns and Dissected bar 4 bar of His songs and be impress/proud at the same time. Your breakdown skills is No Joke and top notch brother Knox. Love your Album!
I am impressed with how you break down the instrumentals too! Keep up the great work!
I love how all the reactors pull each other up. The feeling of we all can eat is strong within this group. Love it.
The set up for Ghostrider(writer) is probably my fave in this song. Em is alien!
Awesome breakdowns as usual Knox
You picking up on the intro on the first listen got you a new subscriber dam man good shit.
"My grandpa always watched old movies"
Well, I guess that for him they were just movies lol
"my floor is your ceiling"also means that..i am always above you and you always live underneathe my feets aka minds blown away🤐🤐
Also after the stack of Bibles line he says "I will tear new behinds out of rivals, even your idols, I don't care" I took that as another mention of him going at anybody, even a Hip Hop Idol like snoop, if he makes himself a rival. Fucking GOAT
@Knox Hill idk if you will see this or not but ive watched 18 reaction videos to this song on youtube and yours by far is the best reaction and breakdown video. Im very quickly becoming a fan.
Great breakdown haven't seen such a solid breakdown besides one other guy. You killed it, not only the lyrics but the production and how you put as much emphasis on that as lyrics. Makes you appreciate album much more . Become a fan and subscriber. Thanks for your work.
It's nice to watch someone who clearly knows his craft break these song's down. Great job Knox! Love your new album. Keep grinding young man.. I wish big things for you and i think your career is about to explode and thanks for letting us take this ride with you.
oh btw, the line "a fcking penny has more cents/sense" can also tie in with Pennywise. as in he is wise, also corresponding to the "other people are clowns" line right after
I tried to be early but i couldn't sorry but, can i get a heart man, your upload really makes my day
You got it anyways 🙌 Happy holidays

I'm actually watching the reaction 2nd time now.
I must appreciate you for such break down.
It's almost like you know everything, every word, meaning of everything. It's so incredible!
We lucky to have you on RUclips to break down almost every meaning of these songs specially lyrical artist, I have learned too much with your channel honestly
Hands down book of rhymes is my favorite song from Em’s new album.
Top 5 em track? I think it might be for me.
I’ve never watched a reaction for 43 minutes. Your bar analysis is crazy!!! You got a long time subscriber here..
Thanks for these reactions and fucking amazing breakdowns mate. Ive went on the path trying to kick a shitty addiction, coincidentally started on the day Em dropped this album which couldn't have dropped on a better day. And your video's have been something to look forward to everyday, it's awesome seeing someone sharing the same passion for this artist and I love your work on this.
We're all mostly still stuck at home so these super long and in depth videos do give a bit of a feeling that I'm still listening to this with a mate, appreciating all the awesomeness this album has put out.
You're doing a great job here, thanks for putting in all the time you do!
Merry Christmas
Tim C brilliantly put, merry Christmas. 👏🏻👏🏻🧑🏼🎄
I’m a Stan since “without me” and I still em.. uhm.. am nowadays. Since that track I listened/studied his whole discography backwards to infinite. Eminem is the only one who’s able to make me shed tears of joy while listening to his skill.
I’m from Germany so excuse my England, please... So to understand and to appreciate his greatness as a non native speaker is really tuff for me and wouldn’t be possible without genius at all. Then I spotted this channel and I’m so thankful for your work! It’s making me so much easier to understand Eminem’s lyrics.
You’re doing a great job pointing out EVERY detail!Enjoying and appreciating every video! Thanks!!!!

I subscribed to Knox Hill at the very first time I saw his reaction video cause his that good, I am not regretting it at all... Nigga breaks shit down completely.
