I've got a strat style 6 string in standard tuning, currently with 9 guage strings on (probably would prefer the weight with 10's) Would you be able to suggest what sort of guage strings I would need to get this tuned down (and sounding decent) in this B standard tuning? Or realistically is the whole guitar going to need re-setting up for this?

@@tawood2014 Get a digitech drop tune pedal. You can keep the same gauge strings, and still play in any tuning you want. Makes it so much easier than dealing with different strings and guitars
