- Das Fürchten lernen - Palazzo der Familie Medici. Mit einem spinnwebenverhangenen Aufzug gelangen Sie in den mittelalterlichen Palast. Nun gibt es kein Zurück mehr, Sie sind den Geistern, die nicht zur Ruhe kommen wollen, hilflos ausgeliefert. In kleinen Gondeln werden Sie nun durch den Palast gefahren, vorbei an gruseligen Gestalten und unheimlichen Szenerien. Überall sind gespenstische Stimmen und drohendes Wispern zu hören...
Ich liebe diese Geisterbahn wegen der schönen Musik…und es Thematisiert die Geschichte der Medici…Einfach nur toll..und ich hoffe ich kann sie bald wieder besuchen..,.

Once upon a time, in Europa Park, there was a Dark Ride about a family’s history. The Di Medicis family, living in Castello Leone in a baroque atmosphere of the Italian Renaissance.
Everything was perfect and consistent, with superb scenery.
That was a long time ago now, at the very beginning, when Geisterschloss was called Spukschloss.
Now, all this no longer exists, it is only a ridiculous and soulless soup.

RIP Wicked Witches Haunt, originally named Phantom Phantasia, which was located at Thorpe Park. It opened a year after this and was built by Mack Rides. Unfortunately, it burned down in 2000.
Very good onride. Most of the time it's too dark to shoot an onride, but here's it's perfect.
Wow.. as a Disney's haunted mansion fan Im not sure if feel dissapointed or surprised but the attention to the detail is good and some parts as the circular ball room are good ideas! I want to visit the park!!
This was constructed in 1982 when Euro Disney wasnt a thing and this was the closest we could get.

Super Video. Endlich mal eine gute Kamera bzw. Tolle Qualität. Die Geisterbahn ist meine absolute Liebligsbahn im Park. Die faszinierte mich schon immer als kleines Kind . Ich hoffe für die Zukunft , dass sie nicht ' Kitschig ' umgebaut wird .

One of the first rides i go on as soon as i enter. But i feel that with Pirates in Batavia, Geisterschloss could use an upgrade to tell a story.

Il était une fois, à Europa Park, un Dark Ride qui parlait de l'histoire d'une famille. La famille Di Medicis, habitant au Castello Leone dans une ambiance baroque de la Renaissance italienne.
Tout y était parfait et cohérent, avec des décors superbes.
C'était il y a longtemps maintenant, au tout début, quand Geisterschloss s'appelait Spukschloss.
Maintenant, tout cela n'existe plus, ce n'est qu'une bouillie ridicule et sans âme.

The ride in the Europapark is from the early 80s, so not a copy at all. :)

Lots of original scenes with two or three “homages” to the Haunted Mansion (being generous). if the HM imagineers could take the time to come up with their own original scenes, so could these designers.
Erinnert mich ein wenig an die Geister Rikscha aus dem Phantasialand..

Well.. this theme ride is from 1982, over time they did some changings but I think they wanted to keep this "Old stuff"-look🤔😂

Everything else is generic enough that they can claim they aren't ripping off from Disney. But the stretching room needs to be replaced with something like a swarm of spiders dangling from the ceiling.

Yup they do know that this ride is better than theirs, Disnyes Haunted mansion needs an update bad, it's just old and boring.

would feel that the Haunted Mansion it's just perfect the way it is although they really were updated they could update some new effects

@@unrellated I have seen the hatbox and yes any update is great and welcome but that one little thing just isn't enough, why do you die hard Disney ppl want to retain a ride to be the same forever? You do know Walt Disney himself didn't envision that but what he wanted the ride to change update and evolve with the times not stay old stale and stagnant. Thank God they're giving Splash mountain a new change, I love the ride as it was but let's have some fun and change things up it's been like 30+ years.
