Hello, I am the second owner of a 1947 Royal QDL with Elite typeface 2:02 , made in Canada, which also has rectangular shift keys. It looks much like the Arrow you are showing here. I assume the Canadian Royal manufacturing plant used parts of the same design as the WW2 models. Daniel
hello ,thank you for your videos . I have a Olympia de luxe from the father of my husband . The machine is like new one from 1960 but I can't change the ribbon . Is it possible to make a video to show how to change . I don't want to try not to make wrong thing with the machine souvenir . thank you very much . Hello from Belgium .
Thanks for the comment… we are planning a video but needs to be clear and precise, that’s why we are taking our time. Please keep an eye on our channel . We will definitely start with Olympia .
@@MrMrsVintageTypewriters oh it is wonderful. I am waiting for, i will so write my books with this beautiful machine and not with computer, I like noise of taping machine, It was a great period !
I did a quick google search, and USAMD frequently came up as United States Army Missile Detachment. Although I did see another option that said United States Army Medical Department. Really interesting video! 😊
😲 Omg … that’s incredible. Will also wait for more info.. that’s too much in hope someone from the United States typewriter community or US army can confirm that as we have been looking for a long time now 🤗. Thank you so much
@@MrMrsVintageTypewriters You're very welcome! Maybe consider doing a Google search for "united states army missile detachment typewriter" and see what comes up! I might give that a try too out of curiosity! 😃

Nice. That had small changes only. You are right.
I think we have one of those and would be very interested in corresponding with you to find out more information!
Hello 😄,
All here to be honest, happy to help
I bought that typewriter from you! Glad to see it's safe and sound. I just wish I'd kept my Royal Model O!
Hello Colin, Hope you are well and safe my dear. We are always thankful for the opportunity and your support to us.
Is this SN in the TWDB? I see five Navy Arrows and one USA MD. Where are the “five online” you mention?
I have one and am looking for more info on it.
Search Royal MD typewriter. Or Royal Arrow and dig into the pictures. Not more than 3 will appear I guess.
@@MrMrsVintageTypewriters I just found one! A buddy has picked it up for me and I am waiting for a pic of the SN.

Those are good machines, I dig Royals! All 1942-45 Royal production was for US military. The pre-war Royal Standards are my fav. tho,,,,Izzy,,,,
totally agree.
