Completed this challenge in less than 45minutes. Actually we did 4/4 (no reset) bc in the 3rd game one of my mates wasnt hiding correctly behind the table in the manager office thats why the ghost killed us all but we were in an infintie loading screen but after one of them left it worked again and we got the correct ghost but we did a 4th game for the one who left. 1st: Raiju 2nd: Demon 3rd: Spirit 4th: Banshee Raiju: Servants Room2 , they both died but I noticed a speed change. Ghost wasnt hunting for some reason a long time and changed ghost room to the courtyard which was pretty annoying. So i droped uv infront of the courtyard door and let him come to the left courtyard wing. Was hiding in East Vistor and clearly noticed the speed changes. Demon: Was down in the Matron office. After my first smudge i already noticed that he started a hunt right after 1min. So clearly a demon behaviour. Spirit: Chapel, in the 2nd hunt i wanted to do a smudge test first to have more time bc Chapel is pretty close and there are not that much great hidingspots on the way to the Chapel. We 3 all run into the Manager office but one of them messed up and the other one had to leave bc of loading screen but due to that spirit is always logged in if u dont choose anything we actually got the 3/3 after this game (only the one who left not so thats why we made another one) But even though we just had "luck" with this guess, without dying 3mins no hunt would have been clearly obvoius. Banshee: Male room 3, this game was kinda funny but i dont want to go that much in detail to it. Anyways i had some banshee vibes do to that i survived pretty close in a hiding spot and was wondering myself how i didnt get killed and we also got alot singing events. So i wanted to test if its a banshee and if im not the target. One of them wanted to go to the manager office but the banshee followed him and she spawned on top of him. Gladly I still wasnt the target so i saw that she was clearly ignoring me and we went with banshee. Was kinda fun this challenge but would ve liked the big map more due to that u ve more possibilites to hide (like if u ve the courtyard area, you cant go down and hide under the stairs behind the shelf or if u ve the female wing, u wont be able to hide in the utility room. I also think they should add atleast one hidingspot around Femaleroom 1 and Restriced Room 1. With 0 hidingspots u literally just want to ve the left wings rather than the right wings, because u have way more possibilities to hide and the thing which is even more important is that u can hide in at least one of the first rooms. On the right side this isnt the case at all. For female wing u just ve Femaleroom 3 which isnt even that great. All the other few options are in the back in the Day and Dorm Room. For restriced its even worse, because you only ve the option to hide right at the end of the wing or in the exermination room. So u are basicly "dead" if u enter one of these wings and the ghost starts a hunt. U can only go in Female or Restriced Room 1 and pray that the ghost doesnt go in. lol
I usually never do challenges (especially not alone!) but I want to level up for a nice price when there will be the level rehaul so... I tried it. First time I went in I got immediately thrown something against my head and was like: Nope, fuuuuu that, I'm outta here. Turned out to be a Wraith (obviously when one think about it...) Second time I went in and didn't hear a lot, so I went deeper in, always testing if it's hunting... nothing. For literally minutes. Ghosty was dead, so I left with Shade. Turned out it was correct. Third time... copy and paste from the second time. Fourth time I went in, hid in the office and the steps ran to me - and a second before the Deogen was about to kill me it stopped hunting. So I was super lucky with my ghosts and did it within like 25 minutes? Aaand: I'm just one level away from Level 2200! Wohoo! :D
i got it done in like 25 minutes it was crazy. 1 of them was a certainty, 1 of them was an accident (i had the ghost filled in without knowing then died), and the last one my friend and I insta died and he said a random ghost and we put it in and somehow it was right. 10/10 would do again
Not a huge fan of the challenge, more so after the previous week's which was another behavior only type deal. Could of used something a bit easier in between the two challenges, for those of us not on Insym/Psycho level of detecting ghosts. 🤷♂ Glad you had fun though!
Honestly, challenges should be in this direction (apocalypse) since well... it's called a challenge. It's always been too easy (even the no evidence challenge)
On the upside, there are no risks to running the challenge mode. Trying for gold apocalypse challenge literally broke my streak of playing the game because after 20 or so tries, it took the joy out of it.
My friends and I were practicing apocalypse challenge last weekend with lose items on death off to scout hiding and get use to foot steeps then they released the challenge but our first practice round was a deo we looped it around it's self in the entrance area
I just came from Insym's video, there was some comments on chat about the Jinn's sanity ability, so do you know if the Jinn can still give the EMF 2 on the breaker if it uses the ability, despite the breaker being broken?
Nicely done Psycho! This is very tough challenge. I spent 2-3 hours with friends on this and only got 2 correctly idenitified ghost, all been normal speed ghosts, and no special blinking XD we had Banshee and Spirit that we have identified correctly due to Banshee's behaviour FAR away from its room, and Spirit by spirit smudge test, like you :D This challenge is very draining especially after 2 hours. But durign that time when I died, I managed to do some of science by myself for how deaf player can figure out ghost's 150 speed as dead player with our sprint speed. Our sprint speed is 3.0, same as Revenant. I calculated the normal speed ghost at 150, and it came up to similar speed as Raiju and Jinn at their maximum speed, and faster Twins is slightly faster than normal Thaye, and if you can outrun them using sprint button as a dead player, u can rule out Moroi and faster ghosts. If u can't outrun them then it's Moroi or higher (Rev at LOS, Deo zooming, Thaye and Hantu - they all are faster than normal 100 Revenant) so that's how I figure out what normal 150 looks like :D But it's very difficult yes. Definitely not one that I can do solo, for sure. I will try to get 3rd correct ghost tomorrow! And hope you feel better soon!
Wish I watched this video *before* I did this challenge. Spent 1.5 hours, finally got 3 ghosts and thought yep, awesome, amazing, done!.... Didn't get the 3k. Why? Cause the whole bloody time we did it on the normal sunny meadows and not restricted. :D So that was awesome. I should probably learn to read better lol
I am so glad I watched this. I did not see the "restricted" mention in the challenge and was going to full-size SM instead. Luckily I didn't actually complete any yet.
I actuall got 3 Deos in a row last week on 8,25x. The first one got me, because i wasnt expecting a deo and sadly i droped my smudge so thats ehy i died in a locker in tangle next to the nursery. xD The 2nd game, I wanted to wait on ridge next to the table, just in case its a deo. And well, one of my mates got insta traped in the garage by a deo and he died. xD The 3rd deo was on willow and this experience was crazy cause 3x the same ghost in a row is pretty rare. Sadly we didnt got it a 4th time. I also got on Sunny Meadows 2x the same ghost (Dschinn) in the same room in a row which is also pretty rare. lol
It increases speed the lower ur sanity goes, can go super fast in line of sight over time and is smudged for 12s instead of 6. It can also curse u with the spirit box or paramic and drain ur sanity
I only ruled out Myling with the paramic, the rest was because it was normal speed footsteps. If you hear footsteps clearly before equipment flickers its not a Myling

Props those were some difficult games. I got super lucky, got 2 deogens, and in the third game the ghost was by the entrance, i smudged and hid, and as i was coming out it locked me in and killed me, so it was a demon 😂 the deogens made me laugh cause when i did the actual apocalypse challenge i didn't get a single one, and now i got 2 in a row

Jeez this challenge is so annoying, im getting hunts off the bat, but no evidence, they all sound the same and my lighter doesnt work (im not sure if its on purpose)
This challenge is too hard for us who like to play but do not know every ghost's tell and/or behavior. It's nice that the devs listen to their most loyal players but it kind of leaves the rest of us behind :( Maybe in the future have the harder challenge give more rewards for the experienced ones and a regular challenge with regular weekly rewards for the rest?
I sympathize with you but honestly I can't agree. We're already getting 3k exp and cash for 0 risk at all. These challenges are clearly meant to be difficult and truly test your skills at finding ghosts. No better way to get better at the game than to repeatedly throw yourself at hard challenges and learn from experience and the weeklies offer that risk free with plenty of extra rewards at the end. Maybe after the leveling system revamp they could potentially adjust the rewards depending on the challenge difficulty, but in the end they're still literally giving away money and exp for free most of the time. I'm glad a really hard one finally popped up.

I agree that the challenges are meant to be difficult, but this week's challenge is completely out of hand compared to the challenges in the last few weeks. Most people aren't playing the hardest difficulty (apocalypse) all the time and know everything about the game like it's the back of their hand. Doubt that repeatedly throwing yourself at this challenge specifically is going to let you "learn from experience". It's clear that this week's challenge is tailored to the top players in the game which leaves out a majority of the playerbase.
@@Daltoniss Thanks, I guess we just disagree! I think the thing this challenge does cost is a lot of time and I think it would be tough to learn this way. The faster ghosts is something to throw me off too since it won't help me when I'm playing normal difficulties. It's not like the top-tier players need these challenges; they're already high levels with a lot of cash! I just think the devs appealed to players like Insym and Psycho which they deserve for promoting this game. I just think most of us got left behind to level up before the restart. Regardless, I'll give it a shot.
Me and my friend tried it and we got 2 shades in a row, and I have no idea what makes it shade. UPD: We did it. A phantom, which instakilled me in the room far away from ghostroom, a deogen, and another phantom. It was a lot of fun, especially when onryo and poltergeist hunted us in less than a minute after we smudged them during a hunt. Maybe polter hunted because I was smudging from the truck, while my friend was chased. But onryo...I dunno .Also we got one hunt after leaving the building.
@@Psychoooo I would swear we got killed by shade when it spawned on top of us in grafton challenge in the dining area. Are you sure they can't hunt in the same room as player? Even at 0 sanity? It wasn't a cursed hunt.
I got a Myling, Phantom and Wraith (plus a load of other hard normal speed ghosts that I died to and couldn't guess). For some reason this challenge was nicer for me than last week. I think I just prefer to know what i'm getting myself into and know i'm going to get hunted immediately and die a lot rather than trying to do well and not have that happen.
The timing of this challenge is unreal... I hit 50 followers on twitch and promised I would do the apocalypse challenge today to celebrate (Well I accidentally did bronze yesterday when 'practicing' Thanks to an obvious hauntu doing hauntu things ) I thought at least I can do some challenge runs to break up attempts... and then the challenge is this *cries* any other week why this one why!!!! CJ!!!!! WHY!!!!!
I'm actually kind of mad at myself. I played three perfect games, super fast doing this challenge. It was the non-restricted map, and didn't win this one because of that. After that, it took me well over 2 hours due to bad luck the following games, but I did it again and actually won this time lmao

We also died like 25 timesthe last few I sacrificed my self to watch the ghost and found out it was a yurie from the 90 seconds after you smuge

It's not like the top-tier players need these challenges; they're already high levels with a lot of cash! I just think the devs appealed to players like Insym and Psycho which they deserve for promoting this game. I just think most of us got left behind to level up before the restart. Regardless, I'll give it a shot.

My last ghost was Twins that double interacted by doing a ghost event and turning a crucifix in the restricted area

Me and my friend tried it and we got 2 shades in a row, and I have no idea what makes it shade.
UPD: We did it. A phantom, which instakilled me in the room far away from ghostroom, a deogen, and another phantom. It was a lot of fun, especially when onryo and poltergeist hunted us in less than a minute after we smudged them during a hunt. Maybe polter hunted because I was smudging from the truck, while my friend was chased. But onryo...I dunno .Also we got one hunt after leaving the building.
Nice, shades interact with less stuff, cant hunt in the same room and cant interact with stuff if a player is in the room
@@Psychoooo I would swear we got killed by shade when it spawned on top of us in grafton challenge in the dining area. Are you sure they can't hunt in the same room as player? Even at 0 sanity? It wasn't a cursed hunt.
Oh, I see. For the most part, we were walking around the map because were scared of the ghost. Gotta be a bit more brave here.
The 150% ghost speed has ruined me. I spent too long trying to get the Gold Trophy and now all the ghosts just seem so slow.
I got a Myling, Phantom and Wraith (plus a load of other hard normal speed ghosts that I died to and couldn't guess). For some reason this challenge was nicer for me than last week. I think I just prefer to know what i'm getting myself into and know i'm going to get hunted immediately and die a lot rather than trying to do well and not have that happen.

Its a neat challange, not one ill be participating in. I personally dont like things that effect the ghost speed.
I tried this with randoms but one guy insisted I had the wrong map and that he still had the grafton challenge. Everyone left lol

The timing of this challenge is unreal... I hit 50 followers on twitch and promised I would do the apocalypse challenge today to celebrate (Well I accidentally did bronze yesterday when 'practicing' Thanks to an obvious hauntu doing hauntu things ) I thought at least I can do some challenge runs to break up attempts... and then the challenge is this *cries* any other week why this one why!!!! CJ!!!!! WHY!!!!!
I'm actually kind of mad at myself.
I played three perfect games, super fast doing this challenge. It was the non-restricted map, and didn't win this one because of that. After that, it took me well over 2 hours due to bad luck the following games, but I did it again and actually won this time lmao
