19:00 Because it is easily the “worse” one, I am pretty sure that anyone with filmmaking and writing knowledge would agree that the second season is the “worse” one, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. My rating for the seasons:
S1 10/10
S2 8.5/10
S3 11/10
These monologues with Franks are some of the best writing from the show, but after this it becomes inconsistent through the season so you just finished watching the best writing of the second season, from here it’s when they start with a lot of different storylines at the same time and the writing quality drops. It still has amazing writing at times but having knowledge of the characters from the comics and when Elektra and The Hand is involved is when the series starts loosing points, but like I said is still a great season thanks to some characters carrying it. And Elektra was fine but The Hand isn’t, everything with them is so boring and bad, hence why almost everyone has this as the worse season. They also used this season for a lot of set up, it was a prequel to Punisher and to Defender’s unlike the other two seasons.

When I think about it this really is the best ever episode of daredevil. Mainly because it is so cast concentrated. All the characters everyone loves is in it. EVEN THAT 'BETSY' GUY!

Few points:
1) These first 4 episodes are in my opinion the absolute best of Daredevil (even better than Season 1 and Season 3). The "dip in quality" is because it doesn't hold the same level till the end of the season, even if it still is amazing. The start is easily 10/10, the rest is a 9/10 (or 8/10 if I'm being really harsh). Not as good, but not "bad" by any means.
2) That monologue is remarkable. I've watched quite a few movies and TV shows, but I've never felt like crying as much as when I watched this scene (even though I knew about the Punisher's family). What's better is that it doesn't rely on killing a known character, and doesn't make use of a flashback sequence. It's just a man telling you a story, but it's told so well you have to tear up every time you listen to it. Jon Bernthal is incredible.
3) It's known that Bernthal is an animal lover. If I'm not mistaken, the dog in this scene is actually his own dog.

Season 1 is PEAK. Season 2 and 3 makes daredevil dumb. He does a lot of stupid decisions. Punisher steals the show in season 2. And other characters in season 3.
