In a culture that either demonizes men or excuses them, we need men to know that God has a mission for them to pursue. To lead and love well.

In my case it's so sad because I don't align with God's plan when it comes to attraction. Only God knows how much I suffer and cry about it. It's difficult. Very difficult. I sometimes think about the day I'll see him face to face and say, "It's finally over!"
Renew your mind in God's word. Spend time with God everyday in private, reading the word and praying. The Holy Spirit will change your desires.
"Whom the son sets free is free indeed"(John 8:36)
Also the company you keep matters....your device, friends, movies, music, social media platforms etc....if they don't edify you drop it, they might be the reason why you can't seems to be free.
It's called chains..... things that make you unable to have liberty.
If you find your self not aligning with God's plan, doing the following can help align because God loves you and is willing to help you overcome sin.
1: Be born again if you are not or rededicate your life to God.
2: Study the scriptures like your whole life depends on it because it does. (Read at least 5 charpters of the bible a day)
3: change old habits, replace books , movies , music etc with x-rated contents for
Godly ones. Example of of such books is "He came to set the captives free" by Rebecca Brown, "The call" and "final ques quest" by Rick Joyner etc.
4: Don't stay alone, don't fight alone, replace ungodly friends with the one that can help you grow. I mean people who are working on being pleasing to God. They do exist and I have them as my friends so you too can.
5. Attend a bible believing church where truth if God's word is taught, open up to someone and get prayed for.

I also struggle with being attracted incorrectly and repent daily. The Bible says that God has every tear that u cried and has watched the world for years so He knows the struggle we go thru. You might never stop being tempted but at least ur given the strength to resist
One big point I would like to add is don't watch shorts tiktok or Snapchat spotlight or really anything that you have no idea what comes next, be intentional about what you watch and consume.
This is a topic that very few churches tackle and im glad you do, i struggled hard with this for a long time and even my own Pastor refused to help me with this

Dude I always get in these cycles of not acting on any sinful thoughts for MONTHS then all of a sudden tripping once then BOOM its all back 10x worse within the first 24 hours of sinning again.
My goal is for the only sins I fall to be to be mental and not by action, which I've done many times, but it never sticks and I end up literally SHAKING in my bed early morning or middle of the night and being plagued with sexual thoughts until I explode...
I don't know what to do except "Stop" and just wait until it happens again months down the line...

Hey Brother, good video with one point I wanna bring up. You talk about how you view provision as food and supplies you'd take on a camping trip and that we need to starve the flesh. That feels like a missed opportunity to talk about the power of fasting for those who struggle with sexual immorality, as the sins of gluttony and sexual immorality are linked on a biological level.
Very few christians and very few people in general talk about this subject with any sort of depth. This isn't just a porn issue, porn is an extension of the problem, not the cause of it. Porn is seen not just on filtered internet sites, it can be seen in the gym, in the grocery store and generally anywhere there are women. The way women dress today makes it harder than ever for a man to deal with the issue of lust. And almost no christian really talk about anything else than porn being the root of the problem, like this problem is just some sort of 21 century phenomena. Guys have a harder time dealing with lust simply by going to the shopping mall than they ever hard going to one of those sites. Women sexualize themself to the point where you have to be either blind or asexual to not feel any type of way looking at the average female today, dressed in butt-tight yoga pants and tight shirts without bras under. Women literally go to class dressed as prostitutes, and that is the root of the problem today. There are men that never watches porn and yet struggle with lust. And yet no christian talks about this and overly focus on porn being the root cause of all evil, so naive.

Yes that is Biblical and true because when your not married your convicted and tempted by lustful sinful desires but when your married it slowly goes away from your life and you build a relationship with your soul mate and God frees you from lust in a instant but you must give God all your desires and Repent and Take up your Cross and Follow Jesus Christ our lord and Savior and you will Eventually be cleanse.

In order for me to truly cut every sign of lust and temptation out of my life, I would literally have to interact with no one for a long time and live in a cave under a rock and I'm not even exaggerating. I work at a store that sells women's undergarments and I consistently see happy couples everywhere I go. So I would have to go to ridiculous extremes just to avoid lust and temptation.
Bro, don't be so hard on yourself. If I were in your shoes, I'd QUIT THAT JOB and look for another job in a different industry or take a short break from work if it's been stressful for you. As far as seeing "happy couples everywhere" go where you LEAST expect them to be. Like commercial, industrial warehouses, distribution centers and places like that. CHANGE YOUR ENVIRONMENT
Why is it that friends or accountability partners online are more reliable than ones in real life? Or maybe is that just in my life?
Sometimes it is actually true and sometimes not. It actually depends on your cycle of friends. Change your friends to people who actually understands what friendship means .

It is referring to their ability to be married. Some don’t want marriage, others aren’t asked to be married and others choose not to for the kingdoms sake

here we have Jesus saying that divorce should be very limited. Then we have the disciples saying that it's better not to get married. Jesus responses with an even more extreme bit of nonsense. That rather than just not get married, one should cut off one's genitals. How else is a eunuch *made*? Someone who is celibate is not a eunuch.

Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. 5 Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
6 Now as a concession, not a command, I say this. 7 I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has his own gift from God, one of one kind and one of another.
8 To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single, as I am. 9 But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

strangely, Paul says that a wife can be the one leaving, and jesus does not.

Lust is most definitely a sin. Jesus said whoever looks at a women with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart
Lust is a strong desire so lust for your wife can be a very good thing and actually necessary in marriage. You should have an abounding desire for your wife
