Just wanna bring your attention into a noticeable opinion from everyone who is supporting the managements of colleges especially Private engineering colleges run by various religious congregations which states that the:-
1)” Strict policies and morale disciplinary actions implemented over the students are to ensure that the student will excel academically and they will come out of these institutions as the so called “ideals” (Not exactly sure what is their idea or framework for the “robotic ideals” which they want to see)
2)”If you are not ready to obey our rules why did you joined this institution”?
Okay by truly supporting and going in favour for them lets have a look into certain facts:-
1)According to the recent report by “National institution Ranking Frame work (NIRF)” by the Ministry of education,Government of India for top engineering colleges in india, I haven’t seen the name of any of these institutions in that list.
If your statement holds any value, it should have been anywhere there in that list. All the so called “ultra modern facilities” exhibited in these colleges should be more than enough for any student to excel.
Please try to understand the fact that it is not the ultra modern facilities and your “ideologies of discipline “that bring results,but a “healthy and positive ecosystem for a student to bring out the best out of them will help you achieve this.”
Being a product of one of this institution i can clearly say that it hasn’t helped me in any ways to achieve anything. At the same time iam so grateful to our “wonderful department and the faculties”which was the ONLY good thing i experienced being there.
2)Atleast 80 percentage of the students who goes to these kinda colleges have either strong pressure from their loved ones or may not have “enough marks”(Sadly which still is considered as the tool to measure the calibre or potential of a person)
Another reason is the “reputational advertisement” around these kinda institutions promoting the quality of education they are offering based on the good results of few students who already has the ability to completely understand the things that are being taught. Honestly i don’t believe that credit goes to the faculty or the management since they are already good in what they are doing all they need is just a “tick on glass”
