- Today we're having a look at the budget multi-effect pedal by Sonicake. The Rockstage. Sonicake were kind enough to provide the pedal for this demo, but I feel as though I gave it an honest opinion. If I didn't care for the pedal, I simply would have sent it back and not have done any demo at all, as I'm not about to blow smoke on something I just plain don't like. Was legitimately impressed with this budget stompbox that retails for about $80.

I got one of these a couple of months back, it’s a great bit of kit for rehearsing with the band when it’s plugged into the front of an amp - haven’t tried it for di’d recording as yet. Sweet demo, sir.
Thank you for the demo, Kelly. Cheers from Alberta 🤘🏼
Great video! Nice guitar! Love the Seagull on the neck flying away.
The sound is so amazing for a very cheap pedal..ur review is amazing too , tanks for ur video
Nice demo. You dialed in some pretty nice tones quickly, which is half the battle. I like my Pod Go, but I've yet to come close to mastering it. Easy to dive into the habit hole with all the settings.
Sounds like an audio taper potentiometer on the delay time as opposed to a linear taper. That's why there's a curve to the time instead of half being at the halfway point of the dial.
Great review and you are a great player sir!
You are one of my favorite guitarists
Spectacular, awesome pedal , Sonicake Rockstage
I've had mine for a few years. Was about $50 when I bought it. For such a cheap device, it's well worth it and simple to use. If you want the 80's sound without fussing around for hours or weeks or months, this is it.
Only thing it's missing is a boost for leads.
gotta love the cult, great playing, nice review
You and Charlie Parra are my favorites guitarists...!!!
Very kind mate, thanks!
Thanks, good review
Great review and it looks to be an awsome little pedal. Going to order one now after seeing your review. 👍👍
Life saver for budget players like me ..almost got the Tech 21 3x the price and less desirable sound in some review in Amazon.
Nice intro! Love the old cult!
Nice review. Thanks so much.
thx kelly...been kinda curious about these
Awesome review!!!!!!!!!
Great Demo, Just curious how you got the LONG clean sounding sustain in your intro solo? I have a strat-style guitar with single coil pickups (Ovation Viper from early 80s), a Rockstage and an older Zoom Player, and can't get anywhere near that sound? Thanks! Or are there any other Rockers here who can fill me in?
This is perfect.
nice !!
Em 18 minutos e 35 qual a regulagem do knobs???. Esta top.
awesome might buy this can i use it directly in my amp...??
Yep.
How's your The Loner tutorial going?
Haha, bit of a slacker on that. On it in the coming days.
@@KellyDeanAllenGuitar Haha no worries :)
cool riview....
Riff Raff. 👍👍👍👍
Nice demo, but you should probably mute your vocal track in post while you're playing the guitar. Your mic is picking up the strumming noise from your pick. I would like to hear this with just the guitar, pedal and amp.
Thank you, Sir.
It sucks. The distortion is thin and lifeless. Does not play nice with other distortion pedals. Mine is in my extra pedal drawer.
A bad workman always blames his tools!
I’ve ordered it despite this chap’s having holes in his… tights?
Lol. They are jeans, just a weird angle I guess.
Haha, I thought maybe you wuz Ian Anderson. Pretty good review. Waiting to get the Rockstage to attach to my Monoprice 5W tube amp.
Have you had any issue with the pedal having an annoying hum sound. That’s the issue I’m having with mine. Otherwise, I really like it.
