If I recall correctly NASA has been using the F-104 for a variety of test flights/experiments for decades. Edit to add: I am pretty sure they are still using the Starfighter for all sorts of high speed/high altitude tests. Edit to add... I wrote before he talked about the Starfighters, didn't realize they had privately owned F-104s at the Shuttle Landing hanger.
@@JarrodFLif3r I didn't know that either! From what I've read and seen over the years, it was extremely fast, but an unforgiving jet to fly(high accident rate)..But, l love the design and looks..
CF-104's seemed pretty common on Canada when I was a kid. There quite a few now mounted as displays around the countryside. Very cool, and super loud when they were peeling off the runway.
Did I see Tim Dodd, the Everyday Astronaut there too? Edit to add, Definitely Mike Todd the Everyday Astronaut and maybe Ellie(Ellie in Space) also. Its looked like a YT Space nerd tour 😂
I know this question is off-topic. Instead of building a new space station, why didn't they fix replace the modules. Also, could the ISS have been modified to fly to the moon. I haven't seen these questions asked.
Why so many Starfighters in the background in a poor state of repair, if they were such terrible stones to fly! Possibly flow by the Apollo Astronauts ? Okay, I was give the answers 5 minutes later, thanks
They love saying that word, that and progress.. but the funny thing is that in striving towards this goal, they bring no progress and bring diversity bad statistics due to sub-par hire. 😂😂😂 Wokies are void of reason.
You asked some great questions. Thank you for taking us along on your tour, Stay Angry.
Looks like a couple of ancient 104 Starfighters in background, maybe parts for the great looking one to the left...

This was an adventure. And new adventures are coming in. I cannot wait.
While he was explaining about shuttles, Dreamchaser was on my mind too.

This was great content, interesting people/things I'll likely never get to see in person, thanks for sharing.
Any NASA tour is worthwhile to participate in whether media or just personal.
I worked on F-104's at NASA Dryden now Armstrong. We had G models.
Very good. Thanks!

Excellent presentation, Brother.
They have a powerline cutter in front of the helo, just like we used in the Military.
Nice!

Great. NASA has an awesome helicopter.......
Regular Tesla Cybertrucks? Or did they look like they were prototyping something new?
Most F-104s I’ve ever seen together
Hi from Alabama 🎉

DEI should NOT be in the government...
