Toulon, France - 23rd August, 2011

Views around the Mediterranean French town of Toulon, which is a town in southern France and a large military harbour on the Mediterranean coast, with a major French naval base. Located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region, Toulon is the capital of the Var department in the former province of Provence. I was born in Toulon and i still live here. It is not the most beautiful town, but I love it. And it is pleasant to see a video of a tourist. There are parts of the inner city or suburb to see. Le Cap Brun, le Mourillon, le Mont Faron,.. and lots of cities around, in the Var departement or rivers, mountains.... Good video :-)

Been to Toulon several times in the early 90s when I was in the Navy. Only thing I remember was getting a smash sandwich on the way back to the boat after a night of drinking in the bar sections called the “gut”. Best sandwich I ever had lots of cheese and meat with frys smashed into the middle.

I've been to Toulon on 1986 III for studies .. i still remember every thing their , Chicago street , the Quick, the bank that near the arsenal, the friday bazar , the green mountain tele-freak , all restaurants all coffee shops , every thing their, one Heineken was !0 francs that time, one taxi in the city was 35 francs ... i still want to visit back Toulon ♡♡

I think if I went to France, I would prefer visiting Toulon to Nice or Monte Carlo. It looks great.
