I have always made content throughout my professional career, however, it has always been for someone else. In May 2020 I decided that it was time to create something for myself. Football Manager has always been a game that I have loved so wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the tips and tricks that I've learnt!

Got Doncaster to the prem with this tactic guaranteed the results in the championship weren’t flattering but still made it to playoffs and won overall great tactic, and if managed correctly lack of fitness isn’t a problem.
Love this! I agree fitness needs to be managed whoever and whatever you use this year. I put the bottom 2 under training on rest as no pitch work which helps and keep giving days off.
Used this tactic with fulham in my 5th season now came 6th in 1st season in 2nd season came 3rd and won Europa league 3rd season we came 3rd again and got to the semis of champions league and then 4th season won the league and the champions league very good tactic so many goals
Top 4 all season with villa and then went 10 without a result to finish 7th. Gonna try these for my next season
Are the two "full backs" wingbacks on attack or right and left fullbacks with the role wingback?

Curious if changing 1 CM(d) to a DM DLP(s) would be a reasonable change or if it would defeat the setup GYR is going for here. What's the thought behind 2 CM(d)s? Haven't seen those around almost at all!
My thought process was dms are stronger than cms in the game this year so if I can get the same cover higher up the pitch it allows the defence to move up higher and condences the play so limits the space between the lines even more while allowing the team to still be attacking and recyle possesion. I wouldnt change those roles as they are there very specifically
been using black panther a lot since the winter update and its the best one for me, spiderman worked good but not as good as the panther, how do you reckon this one fares vs panther? fairly similar but interesting with the CM over CDM as on panther the CDM usually don't have high player ratings

good tactic using it for my aston villa save and notts county in league 2 working good so far for both teams
update 4 wins and a draw with this tactic for aston villa ill stick with it just beaten man utd 1 - 0
would you say this is better than the swansalona?
I used this with Everton without any signings or anything and managed to finish 8th which is unbelievable considering the team I used. Beating Liverpool, City and Arsenal once each also.

What is the best tactic to use if you don’t want to simulate games?
The match engine works the same so you can use any not simulating and I use them as part of the testing and play games to check how they work.

dropping the wingbacks and inside forwards to support for seeing out the game

i am new at the game , i have player that in the cm role has 4 stars on support but only 3 when i change it to cm on defense like this tatic , does it matter?
Personally, no. The star ratings in the game are dependent on your squads ability. It’s relative. If you sign Haaland for example, you could see your old former best players star rating go down.
Do you think it would work if I changed 1 of the cm roles to a DLP on defend still in same position as the other cm but just change the role?

Idk I’m using these for Crewe and they worked for about 2 games and then i kept losing so I don’t think they’re that good tbh

Any more context around which team you're using? Did you give it a full pre-season? Are you training the players in their roles etc?
what i like about you is you dont use the best teams in a league, compared to other football manager tactics you actually show what will happen with a lower skilled team.
We like to mix it up. Need a top team to know it works and then see if it transfers to lower teams. If it doesn't it doesn't get released no matter how well it does with the first team 😂

Hey Connor, thanks for the feedback. Can I ask how many games you gave it? Did you change tactic mid season? And were you training it as your main tactic?
@@HoodGamingUK hey mate yeah I play on console so I set the training to the tactic option and I gave it from the start of pre season until the January transfer window and away from home we we had next to no possession loads of chances but not scoring any we did beat city 6-2 but lost to bottom of the league Burnley like 3-0 I love your videos and all you tactics seem to work for me but this one I’m not sure if I was doing something wrong but just didn’t seem affective

@@GYRFM I am currently managing Ajax. I have just finished the first season winning the League, Cup and Europa League.
@@GYRFM I did do a little tactical test with this formation with Man Utd(Holiday test), very good att, very good def, unbeaten so far in November. Also Utd beat Liverpool 5-1. I think though in some matches the tactic may concede a bit too many shots for my liking. But then again I only holidayed it. It looks good.

@@iaintaylor5116 haha was going to say I honestly dont watch so would be a hell of a coincidence but this is an evolution from black panther trying to get the same results but with a more compact team with higher starting points and less gaps between the lines.
