Just starting to make Alaska Magic. These videos are so helpful. Thank you Edyta! 😊
She is one of THE best quilting instructorsnI have ever seen. Her level of crafts-person-ship is the highest I have ever seen. Man she is cool.
Thanks Edyta, I really enjoy watching and learning from your tuturials 😊
Your quilts are absolutely beautiful…. I have to try one of your hard quilts
This is a beautiful quilt!! Wow!
Beautiful! Thank you Edyta.

I’m going to be sewing this quilt-a-long with my mom. I’ve not sewn much and so when I fly to visit I’ll be starting with her help. She was a seamstress so she’ll be teaching me and helping me on her machine. When I return home I’ll continue on my machine. We purchased the precut bundles, as I thought this would be much easier, given my lack of experience. Would sewing my quilt on two different machines cause any issues? You mentioned sewing on the same machine using the same seam allowance was good so I wanted to check to see if maybe I shouldn’t start until I’m on my machine. What’s your opinion? Thank you!
It looks like Block 5 is the same as Block 2, just rotated in a different orientation. Is that right? If so I can sew all of block 5 and block 2 and the same time.
Be sure you notice the placement of the yellow and blue - 2 & 5 are the same except just switch the yellow/green corner and the blue/green corner
@@cherylfowler2758 There is no green or yellow in block 2 or block 5. I think you are thinking of block 3 and block 9 which are mirror images of each other.
@@beautifulquilts1217 Oops, sorry - you're right.
Can someone help me....my blocks buckle up in the center. I bought the precut kit, so the cuts are accurate. My seams are all 1/4 “. I’ve tried to press them, but they just won’t lie flat in the center.
Mine don't lay completely flat either, but I already finished my kit, and once it was quilted the "dimples" in the center are much less noticeable. Edyta, I would love some tips for getting these blocks to lay flatter.
I am having this trouble also. I tried pressing the seams open which helped slightly. The other thing I did was press out from the center to the corners. Again, helped some, but still not flat...
The little bubbling in the middle has happened to me many times as well! I always just have to make sure to pay close attention to my seam allowance. Also, I start sewing from the point and sew outwards. I will be talk more in depth about this on my next video!
@@laundrybasketquilts thank you!
