But here's the thing, some people kill over these shoes, of course some people think these shoes are worth several hundred dollars. A sneakerhead may not think deeper into it. If that's your hobby, fine. But the only reason these sell for a thousand dollars is because they chose to make 5 of them and it still only costs like $20 to make them. Just like their mass produced shoes. And even their mass produced shoes are very overpriced because of marketing. People are told they're worth $200 so they accept it. Love Tony Hawk an overall great guy. Did anyone notice that the majority of his purchase was for his kids? Most celebrities devote that type of “focus” primarily to themselves and their image but Tony Hawk didn’t.. he used this as an opportunity to shop for his kids..the selflessness about Tony man, this is why I love the guy.

Yeah. It's kinda disappointing seeing they get locked with a brand, and won't even be allowed to mention others. Just like Bolt choosing only Pumas, or Ronaldo and Neymar choosing only Nikes.

    • @n00bsVDOZ

I think its because Tony Hawk has more money than the Brand he goes to. Outside of Vans alot of the other well known skate brands dont make a really high amount. I think its more of a collab at this point for Tony and the brand thats making his shoes.
