Your point regarding the sometimes inaccuracy of town tax maps is apparently correct. A lot abutting my Maine camp/wood lot that I purchased a few years back is listed by the town tax records as 35 acres, it actually surveyed out at just shy of 50 acres. Interestingly two of the four sides are town lines.
I'm not from Maine and one challenge I've found is simply finding out where the parcel is. Rural roads seem to have 2 or 3 names and Google maps is just ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thanks for your work. Good job. Question, so what kind of water front lands that allowed homestead. Like can I release my ducks to the water? I know it sounds silly, but it's just out of curiosity.
You’re not alone. Working with a client on the south shore of Ma between Boston and the Cape that is moving here as well for the same reasons. We are in the search phase. He told me about the guns laws in MA. Maine’s constitution says our right to bear arms shall never be questioned. Of course you have to be law abiding but other than that, Maine is one of the most protected states when it comes to the right to bare arms. Constitutional carry, open carry and stand your ground as out castle doctrine. There’s a reason why Colonel Chamberlain and his men turned the battle of Gettysburg around with his battle at Little Round Top…..he and his men where from Maine
I live in New Hampshire and have been looking to buy a fairly large chunk of land for hunting purposes only. I’m interested in the towns surrounding the Newport area. Any suggestions for such a piece of land.
If you send me an email, there are some pretty large size properties up around Newport that would fit your criteria. They’re not all perfectly square but I can send you the lot plan in the deed if you want to look at them up to you just to help.
I’ve been looking for about 2 years for recreational land for now then when it’s time it goes to the for “children”. Outbid on two last year. Now not sure if I should but now or wait until next year?? Maybe lower prices🤔
Things are changing. I worked with a young couple last year and they were constantly outbid 20-30k over asking. They took time off and we started again a month ago. First offer we put in, at asking price, was accepted. The craziness and settling down. Don’t stop your search, just be patient. I can set you up on a custom app that will only send you property based upon your specifics if you want. No pressure, no selling, no spam. Here to help. No worries either way, good luck with your pursuits

Brother, you need to make more adjustments to the volume. The background music went too high, and your voice wasn't loud enough.
The volume level is set the same. Do you watch from a TV or computer
Cellphone. I like to watch your channel during my workout. I would play your video again on the PC
Same for me. The voice level is too low compared to other RUclips videos.
Excellent video!
Thank you very much!

If the zoning ordinance your in allows ducks than I doubt there is any ordinance against ducks in the water if it is in the same ordinance
much appreciated! Great Video. I live in mass and am looking for a spot in Maine. I am a big fishermen and hunter.

There is a ton of land up there. How big is fairly large
@@LiveLifeInMaineif it’s a square plot 60 to 70 acres, but 100 would be better.
