I love this game, but he's 100% right when saying only the last choice matters.
Prevent Kate from jumping? Avoid killing Frank? Help people in danger during the tornado? None of it matters: either they all die anyway, or everybody lives but Chloe.
To be fair, not everyone dies when the storm happens. If Kate survived the suicide attempt, she is at the hospital which will either have an underground bunker to survive in case of tornado's. Another thing is her parents said they were taking her out of town when they came to visit her, so technically she wouldn't be in town for this event. I want to say most people escaped, when your given the option to save 4-5 people when getting to the diner

The temporal apocalypse builds up in every timeline except the one in which Chloe is gunned down, which means every version of Max SHOULD see it, and yet in the timeline in which Max destroys her selfie (and most likely awakens her power in the same way), Chloe still dies to it.
Wrong, not all die in the storm. And you are human, either you feel better helping people or don't AND you make these choices way before the last one. She can't see the future.
owlnemo But that’s kind of the point of the game, to show how time catches up to everyone and no matter how much you try to delay the inevitable. The whole game was a show of chloe being a very tragic character and how no matter what you do, she has to die at some point. Fate won’t stop trying to kill her and max can’t use her powers to create tornados everywhere they go. Moral of the story: it may be hard, but we all must let go.

There was no signal in episode 5 because the dark room is underground. So the sin should have been that Max has T-Mobile.
Also, the toilet paper roll was thrown from the bathroom, which was directly across from where Alyssa was standing.

sin 120 is wrong, chloe was hiding between a locker and a wall. when you try to hide with her, she says you should find another hiding spot. if you know where she is, you can walk up to her when both characters are ready to leave and there won't be a jumpscare. if you walk past her and out the locker rooms she scares you.

Actually as a lifelong citizen of Kansas, which is in the heart of Tornado Alley, I think it would be enough to just sound the tornado sirens and everyone go to the basement... or bathroom, only place you should evacuate is mobile homes because I think it's pretty clear that God hates trailer parks!
Meaning you are ready for such occassion. In the game information is given, can't remember the exact quote, but Max is called crazy for her vision of tornado, because it occured only like 5 times in last 20 years

I was so let down when Chloe got unshot. Snitches get saved apparently. Considering the target audience for this game do a lot of drugs, this is a pretty massive miscalculation.

Additionally, the timeline of the morning where she goes out to the diner checks out. Max normally has class at 10, one morning class is cancelled, and she doesn't have to arrive until 11. If you follow the text messages she received all morning, you have the timeline spelled out for you. It's a little tight, but she can, in fact, pull it off.
Sin 1: if you wait outside the bathroom, Chloe never comes and in reality she would still come
Sin 2: Why is it that she only runs out of power when she's trying to save kate
I think the reason that she lost her powers when trying to save Kate is to show that certain words could result in someone killing themself.

The reason why Max lost her powers was because earlier in the episode, she was fooling around and abusing her power too much. Then, she overloaded with freezing time.

When Max travelled back to the photo Warren took with her at the party, she informed Chloe about her power to travel through photos. Also you can look at Chloes wallet when in her room, and find out that she keeps the butterfly picture in it. The toilet paper got thrown froma different room. Other than these sins are spot on
God4wesome - Well, there's the one about the cellphone coverage in Chapter 5, he assumed that Max didn't have cellphone coverage because of the tornado, but it's more likely that Max didn't have coverage because she was in an underground bunker / bombshelter.

A friend of mine actually stopped growing when she was 11, my grandma stopped growing when she was around 12, meanwhile I myself didn't stop growing until I was around 21. I got lucky, I guess. xD

In all fairness I’ve had teachers straight up ignore sleeping students and when they ask what they miss teachers are like “fuck if I know you should have been awake”
Chloe was the one putting up the Missing Person posters and she dropped the stack she was carrying when she saw Nathan. All of that is strongly implied by dialogue in later episodes.
Also with Max's "Time Travel" abilities she had all of the time in the world to read those books and make those notes in between Ep1 and Ep 2. She actually says EXACTLY THAT when she reads Warren's messages.

A Allen Well, she did dye her hair, her voice was changed due to smoking, and Max barely even got to see her face in the bathroom. In the parking lot, Chloe recognised Max first and that's why Max was able to recognise her.

You could also argue that the whole reason for the whole game was that max wasn’t suppose to die with Chloe and thus time was reminded so that she would accept Chloe’s death without jumping out and dying

A game about teens that feels like it was written by a adult who has watched all the teen movies in the known universe then tried to apply modern internet memes and his/her childhood memory's about smoking weed and art class. Then she/he played Remember Me and thought "I know this will be a great idea that total captures teen life with some other story bits thrown in".

Sin 13: Hannah Telle, the voice of Max, actually does speak like that normally, she's not doing it on purpose. Not a sin and I actually find it really soothing.
I noticed a lot of things wrong with the games logic too while playing. The majority of bad things in this game could have been completely avoided. Still one of my favorite games though.

After watching playthroughs of this game, I find myself realizing how irrelevant the storm becomes in regards to the story. It almost seems like it was meant to play a bigger part, got shoved aside for ensuing drama then slapped right at the end to make for a finale. Also, really? Letting Chloe die was the key in stopping the storm in the end? How exactly does that work? If you're going to argue that it's because of Max changing timelines that caused the storm in the first place, wouldn't going back in time once more to let Nathan shoot Chloe still result in the storm anyway?

I don't even think Max had the storm in mind when she wanted to get Mr. Jefferson arrested. I honestly believe she forgot about the thing. That's why I said that the storm was pushed away for the ensuing drama. Then it just pops back again when everything's done as if to say "hey, don't forget about me".
It would be better if there was no storm at all. I don't care about some uber super epic tornado stuff, I care about drama with realistic characters and unexpected twists.
But we had unrealistic characters, expected twists, lots of cliches, and no drama.

RPGFreak901 Funnily enough, that wasn't product placement. Squeenix was actually really unenthusiastic about including that due to how poorly Spirits Within was received, but a member of the team wanted to and they went with it.

The one massive sin of this game was the fact that none of the choices matter and you just get to choose the ending. The point of choice based games is that the choices affect outcomes. This game completely defeats that concept. Shame on the devs really. They ruined an otherwise great game.

If you think about it, they do matter. Every time Max jumps through time she creates another timeline, but the one's she's left keep going. If she does something good like save Kate from jumping, she did save Kate, just not all the Kate's.
This game just reminds me why I hate time travel stories.
I was not the only one that thought that all choices where pointless except for the one at the end. For a game that claims to have choices that matter, it really don't. Chrono Trigger has way more endings and consequences for what you do, and that's not that a big part of its game.
I shale kill the orphans. Since the puppy can grow up to be valuable in many fronts. And plus a puppy just makes a better person all around.

I'm surprised you didn't mention when Warren actually physically attacks Prescott with the gun still on him and doesn't get shot, nor does Max worry for his safety.
The tornado is created by Max rewinding time. The reason that she rewinds time is irrelevant.

Max had the dream of the tornado destroying the town before saving Chloe in the bathroom, so why is there any reason for her to think that her rewinding time then to save Chloe originally activated the power and is what caused the tornado to come, and why would it actually work?
Yep, her vision and rewind power is two different power.
Because everytime she rewinded time the storm would get bigger. It hints to that being because she rewinds time so much. Her dream could have just been showing her something that happens in her future.
It could of been a premonition as to what’s about to happen. It was possibly warning her about what’s to come. Chloe did trigger her power and every time she altered time the storm got bigger. That’s why sometimes she would get these visions again of the tornado but every time she got them more stuff was revealed and it happened every time she changed time to much. Which basically means it was getting bigger and bigger every time she completely altered time.

099Nitro no I mean Max as a character, so many things she does shows that Chloe is the only person she cares about. She asks Kate questions not to be comforting, but to be snoopy. She could warn Warren and everybody else about the storm at the end but she doesn't.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: This game has wasted potential. The time traveling mechanic is interesting, but its ball is constantly being dropped in a lot of occasions, most - if not all - of the plot points in this game makes no damn sense and could've been delved into further, choices don't matter at all until the very end (I mean TellTale is also known for that happening too, but at least the choices coincided with one another during playthroughs. Here? It basically just stops all the choices at the end), and some more you've said in the video.
As for the end-slate voting, it's tough. From what I've heard the game Mad Max is pretty good, and Alien: Isolation is awesome, so it's basically choosing between two good movie-licensed games. I'll go with A:I, though, since I know more about that game than I do with MM.

Well, as much as Telltale are kind of scumbags for creating all that illusion, they're the contrary to Dontnod here. While in (for an example) TWD all the choices you make troughout the game don't mean much in the climax, while the climax was pretty meaningful to how it all turned out. In Life Is Strange, though, the choices you make troughout the game KIND OF (maybe [probably {sort of}]) matter troughout the game, and the climax throws it all into the toilet. Well, that's how I see it. It's a bit different from your point of view, but I'll admit that even though Telltale and Dontnod set up new standards for narration, this kind of games just disgust me with how they lie to you saying that your choices matter. So it's a bit personal for me.
And you know what's sad? That this game had a chance to be the first game of this type to have a fully non-linear climax. Even the devs said they wanted to make multiple edings that would be influenced by choices troughout the entire lenght of the game. But guess why they made an "A/B" type of ending. They didn't have money to do it. So why, I ask, a company under the wings of SQUARE-freaking-ENIX wouldn't get the money support for a game that was announced the Messiah of modern adventure games JUST AFTER the second or so episode was released? They could've cut Final Fantasy XIII (it's three sins vids here) by 20 hours instead! That way FFXIII would've been much less of a torture, and we'd get the adventure game that proves that Telltale is overrated.

I know this is somewhat off topic and irrelevant, but I don't like that the game developers kept insisting that Chloe and Max be a romantic couple throughout the game when they've spent so much time telling the player that they are only friends. Either Chloe and Max have a thing for each other or they don't. It can't be both.

why can't you can't remind time during a conversation? you have to wait for a conversation to play out spend 20 seconds rewinding then play through the whole conversation from the start again!
I can explain the photo part. If she rewinds time then the event that she captured with a photo wouldn't have happened. As such, the photo would no longer contain an image of that event, as that event hadn't happened, so the image would "Fade away" out of the photo.
The hammer and keys are different, as they're existence isn't dependent on Max's decisions. They are physical objects that existed before Max rewound, and would exist regardless of whether she eventually did rewind.
As for the conversation part: Video game logic!
But in seriousness, it's most likely because Max needs a second to recharge her rewinding ability, or because she wants to hear the whole conversation and learn everything she can before rewinding.

Given that she rewinds everything but herself, the "freeze time" is essentially a series of consecutive rewinds every time Kate jumps while Max moves forward a little at a time, until she arrives on the roof at the last one. The game was just saving you from having to do that manually.

David showing up at the dark room isn't a deus ex - he was already keeping tabs on the barn because he was tracking Nathan's car going there. All he needed in order to raid it was Max's text tipping him off.
I agree with all the other sins though, especially the one about literally only one choice mattering!

As a Kansan who's spent my entire life in the middle of Tornado Alley, this is how you deal with a tornado heading into town irl,
1; call the National Weather Service, police, Sheriff's Department or just good ol' 911 and report it so they can issue a tornado warning and sound the tornado sirens for everyone to do step 2...
2; get your ass to shelter i.e. the basement, bathroom and such, get out of mobile homes because God hates them

If I had to sacrifice a person I cared about every time there was a twister headed into town I'd have to keep forging new meaningful relationships to replace my dwindling supply of friends and family which since the locals are more convenient to forge said relationships with would rapidly deplete the population of my hometown (about 3000) which would kinda make the initial sacrifice pointless since the town would be destroyed eventually anyway, and since I hate most of the people in my home town I'd just say 'fuck all y'all' and keep my friend whom I actually give a rat's ass about.

My friend and I came up with the theory that the ghost dear is Rachel. It’s only a ghost at the junk yard, or in her visions. When Chloe and Max dig up Rachel’s body, the ghost dear is just standing there watching. Normal dear would run at the sound of Chloe breaking down

There should be an extra Sin for the fact that if you choose the obviously bad decisions like getting the drug dealer and his dog pompadou killed and not rewind to stop it that means Max really doesn’t care it happened and her Panicked and shocked reactions are something she thinks would be an appropriate reaction and simulates it but she actually feels nothing inside which actually makes Max come off way more interesting as a potential psychopath with god like powers
