Excellent video. What would you recommend for someone who only wants to backup personal photos/videos and perhaps some important documents. I don't need the files on my local computer because I don't want to fill up my hard drive. I don't want a NAS because if your house burns down to ashes then you are left with nothing. I store all my photos on two external hard drives. I keep one inside my house and the other one at another place but having an online backup solutions would be more convenient.
What would be the fastest upload and download cloud service? I run a post production shop and need a service that can handle 500-600gbs worth of files. Thoughts?

What is the best for video storage. Google Drive lost a bunch of videos that were sentimental to me and I don't know how I can trust anywhere to store videos where the file won't be corrupted or lost.

I love wasabi. They raised 135 Mil. in new investments (if I recall correctly). Good price, no hidden fees, never had any issues with them and sure they will be around with the investments they keep raising

Well, nothing beats unlimited storage for $12 a month on Google drive. I do video for a living and have 40 TB in my Google drive already. It’s really really not the best service to put big files like that, but nothing beats that price.

If safety/security, encryption, detail/quality preservation is my main concern, what would u guys suggest? Pictures and videos are some of the best ways to immortalized memories, so we don't want to lose them.
These are storage solutions, if you've already got one copy it's probably fine to pick any. But if you really care about your data's safety you should look to backblaze or a backup solution. They'll have georedundant copies.
I have Samsung android and I must find a cloud service since theirs will be gone soon and they are pushing One Drive on us . I only have pictures so its not business but just personal stuff . Anyone know of any free services or cheap ones ?

Cloud-to-Cloud backup for iCloud Drive files seems nowhere to be found? Seems like a gap in the market?
So does Sync have a drive feature? I just want to back up my hard drives so I have a second copy of them in the cloud.
I'm curious about this too. Did you find a good solution? Dropbox doesn't do it. I think Google drive can. I also want the cloud storage to auto sync phone photos like Google photos
@@AndrewEvenstar I went with Sync in the end and it’s working really well. When your finished with something on your computer you can move it to the Vault section of sync, it then doesn’t use any space on your computer anymore. So with a hard drive, you just plug it into the computer and tell it to back up straight to the vault and it makes a back up copy for you there (without using any of your computers storage)

I have dubox account and all my files are dual audio movies. The problem with video player in dubox is it doesnt support on and off subtitles and audio track settings . Pls fix this problem. Pls update your dubox app and add more very important features. I like it but not much the best for me. Thank you

Mauricio, Thank you very much for an excellent presentation! I am involved in a small non-profit organization here in Sweden. We are mainly concerned with health issues - some of them a bit controversial. We often "re-publish" material from other sources - quoting them of course. We have been having trouble with RUclips flagging us. We are looking to have complete control of our material and to make it available to the world and our members of course. So we are thinking of publishing links on our web pages pointing to videos and other material. There is not a big need for collaboration - we handle that anyway. It certainly is an advantage if the servers are outside the USA... So it looks like SYNC right. AWS 3s could work as well - except for the location of the servers.
Your suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Sounds like you should consider a self hosted video solution with a membership option. Maybe look at bunny cdn for video hosting together with presto player if you’re using WordPress. But it certainly depends on your setup.
I use Mega which is absent from your review, that is for sync my PC on real time. For external hard drive I use one drive because it comes free with that suite but I encrypt myself the files and use syncovery for that plus keep things in sync not in real time because it is only archives.
Mega is actually linked to China. :(

I got cloud storage from G-Core. I rent 3TB and it’s 10-20 dollars cheaper than Google, Amazon or Microsoft. Protection is good and all connections are via SHH keys.
I’ve tried Sync, pCloud, and Icedrive. I settled on Sync as the best. pCloud’s zero-knowledge encryption can’t be used with automatic syncing, and I couldn’t get the Icedrive software to function properly on my Mac.
Sync doesn't let me use FTP though :(

MEGA is good. But honestly they have gone through so many changes (product, company ownership etc. ) so I don’t fully trust it.

People don’t need a pCloud account in order to upload files into a “request file” folder. If that’s what you were asking.

No. You can't sync an entire drive with Dropbox. You can't even really select folders either. You have to put it in the Dropbox folder. They do let you sync documents music videos and photos folder and that's it

Nice video! I wonder, should I get pCloud? I make videos and want to make sure I can backup the project files and video files as well. I really like the one-time payment plan.
I’m a creator and I use pCloud to backup and share my videos. Keep in mind that video takes up quite some space especially if you’re shooting in 4K. We use close to 5tb here at our company but we also operate 3 RUclips channels.

Why some of your videos doesn´t have SUBTITLES ? For us non native english speaking, subtitles are essencial. And BTW, you talk too fast :) So, you can enable subtitles on youtube studio, for automatic english subtitles. Thanks.

Most of your videos are biased towards PCloud, Whereas pcloud reviews on trustpilot and reddit are horrible. They delete your account without giving you any warning even if you are using zero knowledge encryption.
