it would be great if there was a way to wear or be in a mirror suit with a see-thru mirror helmet, and to be standing on mirrors so you have the feeling that you disappear.
When one was installed in museumacan in Jakarta, I accidentally stepped off the platform into the pool of water and everyone who knew the exhibit well looked suspiciously at me when I walked through the halls with my shoes squeaking
That was different and some were interesting, but I think a room of mirrors filled with a bunch of puppies, kittens and tennis balls, with a disco light ball spinning in the center of a room would have gotten a big WOW from me.
Beautiful work & video. Would you please credit the superb music as well? It's always troubling when music isn't listed in the credits alongside video production. (I assume there's a business reason for this?) Thank you!
I feel a bit mystified by a lot of this. I can't help but think that the repetition will eventually come to an end at the final atoms in the mirrors. The longest possible repetition occurs when two mirrors are placed precisely adjacent to each other, which eventually comes to an end at the particles in the very centre of them. This is an example what art can do to people. It primarily exists for viewers to express their thoughts and emotions.
You're only allowed in each room for 20-30 seconds and aren't allowed to film, in the love I have for dots 40 seconds and in the all internal love I have for pumpkins filming or photography is prohibited so be glad you even got footage of them all.
Would have been better if it wasn’t just them walking into the room. Should have edited out the mechanics of the filming and focused more on the amazing rooms themselves. Looked clunky. Enjoyed the music, tho
I had the pleasure of experiencing these rooms today. Absolutely breathtaking. If you have the opportunity to see this exhibit, GO!!!
Do the mirror lines(seams) get in the way of the experience?
Where I go to see this and how much price to see legendary exhibition. Plz tell me🙏
Coronavirus: nope not today
They really are spectacles. There’s on at an art gallery near me, incredible stuff
She is one of the artists I look up to the most. I wish her work will never be forgotten.

Imagine experiencing this on acid.

You mean imagine laying on the ground going “NO WAY!! Oh my god NO WAY” while people step over you? Done it.

Her work is at the New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx, NY. Love her work. Art work is there all summer 2021.
Love the first part

Brilliant!
Who composed the music for this video? I would love to hear more.
Did you known who?? I like too..
Elektronoid & Spectral Hades
It has a Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells vibe/feel to it.
Unbelievable 🔥
What's the music for this? It's very ghibli-esque(which is a good thing!)

I'm surprised people don't create these in the US and charge for them
Grandissima artista 😎
Is this easy to DIY? Just imagine all the crazy possibilities you can create in one 1x1 room with simple mirrors on every surface

HD video does not have the processing or bandwidth to compress THAT many pixels when the camera is moved or panned!
Two of these rooms at the Tate. Two minutes per room, £10 entrance fee (cough cough...)
Good
Me when I Let It In And It Took Everything:
