I would love to see her work in person. It looks beautiful! Specially the infinity rooms!!
They’re stunning indeed! ✨✨✨ We hope you see her works in person soon!
Yes the 3D aspect would really bring her art to another level. I literally can’t imagine it.
I’ve been to Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Room at The Broad Museum in Los Angeles. Fascinating. Interactive immersive installations such as hers provide a 3-dimensional visceral experience which is palpable to the viewer.
Lucky you! 😍
I had the great pleasure of experiencing Kusama’s installation “With All My Love For The Tulips, I Pray Forever “ at the Marciano Art Foundation in Los Angeles California: the warmth and infectious joy of the immersion in the piece was overwhelming and invigorating! ✌️❤️
Ahh, this sounds such an amazing experience!
It's amazing to see how social media and mostly Instagram is helping old and emerging artists gain such large audiences. One of the positive aspects of social media. I am so glad to see that people go to these exhibitions even if it's for an instagram pic. You're still left with some bit of knowledge about the artist and its art. Kudos to the young people who help artists revive and thrive in these times 🤍
So true - thank you for reminding us of how social media can play an enabling role in artists’ career
This video on Yayoi Kusama was wonderful! Thank you for the experience and education. She should most definitely be celebrated and loved. I hope to see her work in person one day!
It will definitely happen one day! 😊🙏🏻 and once it does, drop us a note about your experience! 😍
She is a strong human being; you can see her sadness and pain in her eyes. The tears are flowing like butterflies.
luckily enough to see the Infinity Mirrors exhibit in Toronto at the Art Gallery of Ontario a few years ago. Recently saw the one at The Broad (LA) a month ago and the one at the Tate Modern (London) in December!
As a female mentally ill artist, Yayoi Kusama is very inspiring! I like her big installation pieces! I don't usually like polka dots but she takes them to another level!
Have you seen her infinity rooms?
@@CuriousMuse No, only in videos!
It would be awesome to see her infinity rooms in real life!
@@Catlily5 hopefully you'll get a chance to see them soon!

Amazingly impressive!

Yes it should mos def be immersive!
I happened to see a book about her in the the Gwangju National Museum while perusing there. Luckily, months later, at a bookstore, I found an illustrated history of her and her story. Allowing me to see her work while practicing my Korean.
