Under LOCK and key 🔐 Who would be in YOUR city of misfits?

Hermey, an Elf, a dentist, a terrible toy maker. A Twix with three in the wrapper. A pizza with pineapple and pepperoni. An electric Ford mustang. A beta player. A bottle of Crystal Clear Pepsi. And a T-shirt that has written on it, "I saw Bruno at Fight Club last night."

I'm playing a character very much like this at the moment. He was an ex conquest paladin from a dynasty of conquerors, who after doing horrible things one day was faced with a choice. He left and traveled far away and has been atoning for his misdeeds and tries to guide people into a life of peace.

Current 5E game lvl 7 half orc redemption pally. Instead of buffing the sword, I actually went with the old 3.5 Vow of Poverty converted over. He has 2 bases to send his recruits to and in our last boss fight the DM brought in all our recruits as back up! Was a great little reward for the extra work put in by the party, and in our interlude sessions I even have the player with Wild magic Barb praying to God's to be a better person like my pally!

i love the rp of the paladin of redemption. my only question is why have guidance and bless? they are both concentration so you can't have them both up at the same time and despite taking a spell slot bless covers more ground and is better at what it does. i'd love to hear the thought process behind having both.

Guidance is for out of combat only 👍

@@DnD_Daily awesome, thank you for the insight. my oath of redemption went protection but i might switch to blessed warrior to free up some of my already cluttered reactions

My favorite things about blessed warrior is access to a ranged attack and it rewards you for a high charisma. As written you can’t use sacred flame non-lethally so watch out for that!

@@DnD_Daily i might switch Sacred flame for Word of Radiance from Xanathar's because while it is only 1d6 damage my DM has already ok'ed it nonlethal, since my smites are already flavored as warm light that saps the target of their will to fight

That’s really cool smite flavor! I might have to steal that one!

One my old game session I helped a God believes in a mine deal with certain words in a good way I gave them better ideas between the dwarves and goblins it was just me starting out at the Peloton but with listening to your thing and watching giving me ideas maybe I should give this to DM so he can listen to it since this is my first character ever in Dungeons & Dragons Dungeons & Dragons I played other types of games but this is my first time playing a paladin and this is my first time playing a toad in the Redemption playing the Paladin Redemption as a goblin his name is Gore tooth

My redemption paladin is Santa Klaus

Interesting idea! How do you apply Santa Claus to the Tenets of Redemption? 🎅🏼 You and your party must have some unique encounters because of your character!

@@DnD_Daily I’m playing a more role play heavy campaign, and we’ve only had a few 30 minute sessions, I’ve persuaded a magic book to tell me a-lot of info. My characters goal is to become the god of Christmas and giving, so with my high persuasion I’m going to stop slavery. multi class to genie warlock to get ring of 3 wishes or luck blade, wish everyone in the world can cast good berry as a cantrip. Solving world hunger, gain a following as a peace giver and once I have 10,000 -100,000 followers I become a demi god

@@DnD_Daily my find steed is going to be Dasher and Santa Claus wants to make the world better then they came in it. Also it mechanically great also, at support and healing. I choose expertise in persuasion ( giving me advantage on persuasion rolls) Long story short, I could at full power have d20>d20>d20 +19+2d4+d6 . Would need explaining on how o got that high
