I wasn't looking for this, but I'm glad I found this, cheers mate.
No problem 👍
Thank you
No problem
Omg so cool to see it... cheers 👍🏻😜
Sabes donde puedo conseguir refaccioned para el x7?
The X10s have been around since 2017, and the price just went from $349 to $369. And they're not much different from the HDJ-2000 from 2008. It's cool that they're still making them.
Now you should disassemble a Model 1 mixer. And a Condesa. And a V10 for contrast. 🙂
I uprgraded from the hdj 2000s to these , personally i think they are clearly the better headphone , i feel like they will last a lifetime aswell ive used them for years regularly
Hi Jason, I just got a new pair of x10 and the right headphone doesn't go back to its neutral position after I move it. I refer to that auto "spin back" system they have that bring both to the "face to face" position. It feels like it has so much friction that it wont move as easily as the other one. If I shake the headphones a little beat it does work. Any idea how can I fix this? My major discomfort is that I feel that friction when I take the headphone off to listen the outside sound. Thank you!
If you just got them , I would get them exchanged under warranty. It is tricky to say what may be causing the issue but a drop of oil in the mechanism may fix it
I was wondering if it would be possible to use these pioneer drivers for some sort of in-helmet audio for ski / snowboard helmets
Something like the outdoor technology chips 3.0
They are probably too big to be practical and there would be a lot of engineering involved to get them to sound good in a different enclosure.
@@CustomCans ahh that’s a shame. I’m really waiting for something good to come to market. Everything I’ve tried sounds rubbish.
My dj x10 head band is broken , can I just replace it with the x5 , just swap out the speakers ?
I have not tried it but the x5 have a plastic headband rather than magnesium so would not last as long if it does fit
Nice vid. I just purchased a set of these. Supposed to be new. I highly doubt it. Cause the box was a little ripped
Would it be possible for some one to pursue se this x10. And change the drivers from the x5. And returned it back ? And just cheat the system. I am very afraid I got scammed. Thx
I have not looked inside some X5s but it seems unlikely - the main reason people go for the X10 is for the durability, I can't see much advantage in swapping X10 drivers into some X5s but as you have seen in the video , it is only 3 screws you need to unto and you can take a look inside and see if the driver looks the same and if the soldering looks OK
@@CustomCans that’s exactly what I was thinking. You never know nowadays how dishonest people can be. And I rarely purchase from seller that sell only 1 pair. People that purchase large return items from store. I try to purchase from legit sellers from pioneer. But 400$ it’s a lot. Well thank you mate I appreciate your time. And great vids btw
Hi Jason, one my of my sliders on my x10s are loose and move around freely when I dont want them to. How can I tighten it? Thank you
Hi Abel, Is it that they slide in and out too easily or are they moving in a direction they are not supposed to?
I spoke to pioneers service department and even they don't repair them as the headband is too complex, they just replace the whole headband. But... let me know the issue and I will have a think
@@CustomCans thank you for the reply, I ended up fixing them!
@@abelrivera1866 what did you do to fix the issue? Thx
@@rsanchez7111 I unscrewed the side where its bad and just bent the metal plate spring outward so that it can be stronger . I hope I make sense lol
@@abelrivera1866 got it. Thx
So HDJ-X10 good or bad?
They are a really good DJ headphone - nicely built and with a DJ oriented sound signature to help keep your mixes on point ;)
