Ja. Thank you! You're such a great teacher :)
Ja video ist sehr schon
Danke schon
Is there a normal order for cases or does everyone switch up the order?
Wowwww.......Wat an amazing explanation 😄 !
Thank you so much Anja ...
Nobody explained me this simple thing even in Goethe 😬....
Love and hugs for U 😚!
Sehr cool! I would have expected the 3rd example to be "Der Mann beisst den Hund" 🤣
16 minute video taught me more than my german classes that ive been taking for 5 years
and they still didn't teach us genitive in school
Edvin Keskin 5 years😱 huh
same lol my teacher is so useless
+Edvin Keskin I think that's more of a reflection on you and not your teachers.
Patrick Moloney 2 years of the 5 is with a teacher that keeps making us watch movies and sit in class doing nothing pretty much every class. The other 2 years was with a good teacher but I had a highschool enterance exam i had to work on so those years were also useless since i couldn't focus on German. And the final 1 year left was the 2015-2016 season which i actually learned something from a teacher.. So yeah, wrong time wrong place for 2 years, wrong teacher for 2 years.
I like the fact that she speaks german then she give the english translation after. It allows us to learn more words at the same time we are learning grammar.
Immensely helpful, really.
And you actively listening German. It will help my subconsciousness to learn and understand more.

Sister literally taught me a topic in 15 minutes while the Goethe courses I pay shit ton of money couldn’t in 3 years.
Basically every language teacher on RUclips. They are good at what they are doing, since they enjoy it. They do it with passion. And also because mostly they are native.
Tram Fanatic yup yup yup
True that
Ja mir auch
I came here because my Goethe course sucks, too :v
I’m glad I learned English, so now I can watch a lot of RUclips videos teaching German
hehehe
Me 2!]
Omg same sis ksksksksksk
Same here, I'm glad I've got a lot of extra material to work with now that I know english
so true xD
14:55 here she asks you to name the four cases you just learned and I sat in front of my laptop like a little boy in class shouting out answers to the questions with excitement XD She's such a good teacher man :)
lol XD
you fucking weirdo
Same! She’s so engaging
Same here, i felt like a dog that fetched good
"She's such a good teacher"
One of the best! :)
I love how she says "Ja?" After every sentence 😁
Und auch los geht's! 😊
und mir!
Who wouldn't say Ja to Anja?
i know ryt
In all my Spanish classes my professors do the same thing and end every sentence with "No?" I think it's so cute for some reason lol
Quick reference for masculine articles:
NOMINATIV: wer = der
AKKUSATIV: wen = den
DATIV: wem = dem
GENITIV: wessen = des
Danke schön!
thanks!!
Vielen dank!!
Hi! How about female and neuter articles? :) Thanks
Vielen dank!!!

Anja is different from all other teachers. When she teaches, she has the ability to transfer her understanding to others like no other. Bravo Anja! You truly are gifted. I have never witnessed someone that teaches so effectively.
2 years in Germany "B1" level, here, in this video I finally understood this, thanks! nobody has make it more easy.
Hello man. How is your German?
Can you speak it in a fluent way?
If it's the case. Can you give me some tips?

haha yes, i finally understand WHY other languages have different cases, and how they are determined :) nobody would ever tell me WHY the language is like this, but it all makes sense now.
i started trying to learn german 18 years ago and im at level a2. how embarrassing. but what is annoying is that i have never been taught in a structured way. i only just found out about these cases about a week ago
Finally I understood. I've studing German in a course in Munich, with natives, for 3 months and I never understood. Now I got it! You're the best. Dankeschön!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This channel is simple. I feel like a student who is invited to talk directly to the teacher
I have been struggling for months to understand the cases. Until now no German teacher nor German friends could explain to me why and when to use each case. In 16 minutes you made it pretty clear for me. You are probably the best German teacher ever!
THANK YOU!
4 years studying German and I have finally understood the cases perfectly, thanks to you :)
Thank you so much Anja, You were the first german teacher I had. Started learning Deutsch 6 months back and now I am in Germany feels so good to watch your videos again. Nostalgic.
This girl deserves a prize for this explanation! ... explained in minutes what books take 500 pages!
for a moment I thought you were saying Anja deserved "Pizza" :'D I was like, "what's the correlation between the two"
I am arabian, I like when you mention number of Falle in each langauge. this is smart :D
btw. it is very useful that you speak in german then in english. this is very helpful!
sie ist ausgezeichnet!
Yes! It's really helpful the way you use German phrases and translate them.
Great video, danke Ania!
Yes, this is absolutely great! The best channel I have found for learning German!
How many Falle are there in Arabien?
El Robot de Plutón There are 3 main cases in Arabic. However, each case has at least from 3 to 5 conditions, sometimes even more.
I have been struggling with this for weeks. This is, by far, the best lesson I've come across. Thank you so much!
wow, I've been trying to understand this for so long! you are amazing

I watched this video last year and now i am watching it again and it makes more sense.
You`re a great teacher, Anja!
Thanks!!!
This is by far the most useful thing I have ever watched/read/been taught/spoke about/ heard of EVER regarding German. Vielen dank!!
This was the best explanation I’ve found. It really helped when you mentioned wer, wen, wem, wessen questions. That really helped! 😍 Dankeschön
I honest to God love that video. I always struggled with the cases, and now I dont think I will ever again. Thank you. Seriously. Thank you so much.
This video was incredible. The "Wen" and "Wem" explantion blew my mind. For someone just starting to learn German, this video is invaluable. Thank you for this.
Perfekt! such a hard content presented easily and in an understable way. Thank you very much.
I've been studying German for almost 3 months and this is by far the best explanation I've seen so far, even after watching many videos on RUclips. Thank you, Anja. Just wish I had seen this two months ago!
German is not schwer, only to remember what is der oder die, kann leben land dauern.
I first discovered this channel and it was what triggered my interest to learn German. I only started taking up the A1 Deutsch Kurz three months ago and discovered how complicated German can be, but watching Anja going through the cases on her videos suddenly made me see the light at the end of the tunnel. Think I've absorbed more information from this 16 minute video than what I had in my 2 hours online classes with a specific Institute. Thank you for your wonderful videos, Anja!
You have made trying to learn German so much easier. I enjoy the way you break it way down in order for beginners to understand; and especially the way you repeat what you say in German so I can hear what the entire sentence sounds like. Thank You!!
God bless your efforts. Amazing explanation !
Thank you so much Anja! I have my German III test tomorrow and this helped me understand! You are amazing, keep up the good work!
You have my admiration, my most sincere thanks for making your lessons available and free on RUclips!
I learned more here in 16 minutes than two weeks in my university German class! Thank you so much for making such clear and helpful videos. Danke!

I've been studying German for the past couple of months and the topics of Dative, Nomative and Genetive were making me nervous. Your explanations of the topics were so clear and helpful. Now I feel confident that I can learn them and, with time and practice, I can get better at using them fluently.
Thank you. Your teaching style is amazing.
I studied German in Portugal for 3 years when I was younger, and it’s only now, speaking English as my first language that I finally understood (or at least made sense of) grammatical cases.
Thank SO much! That was brilliant!
I appreciate you for the the beautiful way that you explained everything
clearly, god bless you, 🙏🙏🙏❤️
Thank you very much ,your classes and lessons are incredible useful :D .
Nobody explains better than you Anja. I was so confused with these topics but by watching your videos, I have understood things. Keep it up! Gut gemacht! Vielen Dank.
Woooow, I don't know why it took me so long to find you! You're a lifesaver, literally understood in 16 minutes what I couldn't understand in hours.
Incredible enthusiasm, love learning with your energy!
This video is pure gold! As someone who loves learning languages, this video has been the best explanation I've seen so far, I can't even believe this is a free video.
Vielen dank Anja, du bist die beste Lehrerin aller Zeiten! Ich liebe deine Erklärungen und fröhliche Haltung.
I'm a native spanish speaker and your videos have made learning German infinitely easier and enjoyable)
I've just started with German and I find it difficult. But I understood your German sentence entirely and that makes me so much more confident lol. It gives me a sense of excitement each time I read a German sentence and I can understand it correctly xD
This is the definition that i was looking for pretty Long time... Only Anja can do This. HATS OFF 🙏🏼❤
Your videos are such time savers. Concepts and structures are simplified to be optimum understandable. I can not thank you enough.
Ausgezeichnet und außergewöhnliche Erläuterung! Vielen Dank Ania, 😘
Super. Of course this is the best recap I ever had in my life. Also the way you takes the attention is impressive. Good luck and awaiting detailed videos for all 4 cases. All the very best.

I stumble on your video today. This short video is effective in helping me to understand the 4 cases of the German language. Dankeschön.
You are an excellent teacher. I was struggling with this topic so much. It almost made me cry how easily I understood it with this video. I was struggling with it for 1.5 weeks. Thank you for uploading this for free! Thank you so much.
You are just amazing teacher you teaches so well i understand all four cases in one go only. Much love from india ❤️❤️❤️
you are the beeeest, Ania!!!

Yes. I agree with many others. Danke for your hard work and great style. I taught school for 30 years, so I know good teaching. I now understand things. Thanks again.
I love how you use simple words to explain terms, that way it's easier to understand and it gives me room to rewrite the sentence with my own words. excellent teaching, thanks!
Du bist ein Engel. Gott hat endlich unsere geboten gehört.
Wow. I just came across your channel for the first time and I already love you so much. You're so nice and funny! and this is the first time that I'm understanding the cases well. Thank you sooo much and I also loved that you speak deutsch in in a clear way with English after each sentence.

This was one of the simplest and best explanations of German cases. I love your videos. Thank you!

I have to say you have a superb teaching skill, the combination of your personality, your tone of voice, and the structure of your reasoning is a recipe for success. I congratulate you for your amazing contribution to making it easy for us who want to learn German.

First 4 minutes and I'm already in love with your teaching...learned so much more in said time...mind blowing
I don't know what it is. The mass of videos on german cases, or your spirit in teaching, but this made the most sense to me.
Vielen dank ☺

We have that in Arabic too, but the changes is in the end not in the "the" !
I realised after studding German, that there a lot of similarities between Arabic and German grammers
You also know English, don't you think that English it's also similar? They are both Germanic and I'm always comparing the spelling or how the words in German sound like a word in English.
@@laura1less
You are right, English and German has a lot of similarities in words, and pronounce of words...
@Əbu Zörğhanürr At-Türkməni Right? I'm always telling my friends that there's similarities but they can't see it. It’s probably something you can only notice after learning one or the other, I've only noticed after learning English.
I have watched 4 videos about this subject and this is the first that actually explained the function of the cases!!!! thank you! it makes soooo much more sense now!
Hi Anja!
Your lessons are very clear, specific and informative. I understood the cases first time after learning German for almost one year.
Danke Schoon!
12:52 You should not give away the ball of the teacher. Poor teacher. 😂
Sorry for the bad joke. Awesome video btw.
zu spät, aber ich möchte etwas sagen. I regret spending money and time going to stupid German classes. Understood everything in one videoo. Happy and sad at the same time. Thank you, you are a great teacher :)
This is simply brilliant. The best and most straightforward explanation of case that I have ever seen. Vielen Dank Anja!
My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!
This helped alot, danke
My favorite part is "Finnish have fifteen cases" when I think they have 21.
Anja, believe me you are the best teacher ever, really Thanks a lot from the bottom of my heart
Thank you so much for making this video! So far in learning German, I have found that learning the cases to be quite difficult, and your explanation helped so much!
I just started smashing my head into wall after watching this video.
Ali Changezii das ist nicht gut brü
Saaaame
My head exploded
2:50 if my teacher taught me like that I would freak-out actually :D
Dear Anja, thank you for your excellent video. I have been studying german for a while but no one could make me understand the cases. Now I understand because you were clever enough to put the 4 cases into one sentence. I am hungarian , and our language works the same way. In one sentence you can find all the cases, so in that very moment when I have read the 4 cases in one sentence I immediately realized what is all about.
There is nothing left but learn all endings after the 3 different gender, and the endings of the adjective, and so on. That is something . TO understand this was easy with your help! Thank you so much! You are such a clever teacher! Viele danke. Kisses and a big hug!
Anja, you saved my life with this explanation, Dankeschön. I've been struggling with this for so long
You are amazing and beautiful!
you are...... Words cannot describe you!
This video explains the cases better than any other resource!! ive been struggling to get my head around the cases but this is so so so helpful!!!!!
You really rock as a Teacher. Judt love watching every video of yours. You have a wonderful of explaining even complex ideas in a simplified manner.
I swear to God you scared the hell out off me.
Redeyz why?
can we say: ich schenke dem Kind einen Ball des Lehrers? ??
Ja
Sara Dahir as a native speaker i wouldnt say einen but den in this case, because einen is “unbestimmt“ (indefinite), but in fact the “ball des lehrers“ is familar to the subject (ich) so it makes more sense if you use “den Ball“ , in the other case (referring to any random ball) you would say: Ich schenke dem Kind einen Ball :)
What if known from context that the Lehrer has many balls, and it does not matter which one?
So I can use every part from the sentence and use it at the end or at the beginning and it would mean the same thing?
einen means that the teacher has more than only one ball if the teacher had only one ball it would be ,,ich schenke dem kind den Ball des lehrers"
Struggled with it for 5 lessons with my private teacher.
And finally understood everything within 15 mins in your video. Thanks!
Anja, this has helped me soooo much. I was getting really down about the cases and you'd made it so simple. Thank you from the bottom of my heart :)
Thank you, I have studied German to A2 and struggled with the cases, yours is the best explanation I have seen to date.
Omg thank you so much Anja! This taught me a lot!!!! I was having trouble with German cases for a long time now, this has made me see it clearer. Danke!
I've been following your Chanel since one year ago but just now I have de Idea to look for this, finally after one year in Germany I understand the cases
Ohne Witz Anja, ich habe mir viele verschiedenen Videos über die Fälle angeschaut aber keinen der RUclipsr konnten es so einfach und ausführlich erklären wie du.
