Hi Steve, thank you for sharing. It has been really informative especially the cleaning of the vacuum cleaner. I have searched high & low for all vacuum cleaners that I am considering to buy for their cleaning method. After seeing your video, I realized that I still prefer the old type vacuum cleaner where I just use my hands to pull out the hair & dust that got stuck at the brush head instead of having to take it out & clean it again. Thanks for the vid and tips. I bought this model solely bcos of your in-depth review! Very happy with it. One thing I did was instead of using 3-plies of the mask, i only used the inner filter of the mask. I tried with 3, then removed the blue layer, then finally opted to use only the internal filter. The suction is better and it still keeps the sponge from gettin dirty fast. I noticed with the mask blue layer on, suction is affected as that's the water proof layer of the mask and airflow not very good. Just my trial and test. Thanks again dude!

Hi, I purchased 11.11, received 18.11. I saw your post after purchased. Thanks for your suggestion, I put extra mask filter inside too😃.
I have used twice, the aluminium pipe and floor brush inside accumulate many dust, from your advise not to use water clean, so I use micro fiber cloth to clean.
For the inside aluminim pipe, I put a kitchen paper to clean with a long wood stick. Unfortunately the paper stuck inside, i found inside contain a round white rubber inside the aluminium stick, the paper and the rubber stuck together 😅.
I spend some time to take out the paper and use long screw driver to adjust, recover back the rubber. To clean the aluminium pipe, I suggest put one tissue paper into pipe with a long stick, cannot use too much tissue papers once, otherwise will stuck again.
To open the floor brush, actually no need coin, I use my both finger can open the lock😀.
After open the dustbin drop rubbish, I use water and micro fiber cloth clean the below black surface, can clean easily.
*** Finally found the white rubber should locate near at female connector in the aluminium pipe, near male connector already have another white rubber ***

Hi Steve. Thanks for the 3-play mask suggestion. I actually stumbled across your video in the midst of looking up how to separate my new version XP6 Xtreme core filter from the stainless steel filter.
Question: Is the HEPA filter washable? And is it recommended to wash it? Apparently it says washable in the vacuum user manual though. Meantime, I will try this 3-play mask suggestion on mine as well.
Hai. Thank you for your suggestion on 3 ply mask. Me actually have been eyeing Perysmith Pro K3 for months.. but eventually I bought Dibea f20 max due to its higher power suction. Yet after using it, I realized that dibea f20 and perysmith K3 are not much difference in terms of accesories and performance. Dibea f20 has higher power suction 25kpa at its highest mode. Thus, it is more pricey RM650++ compared to Perysmith K3, you can buy it below rm300 during sale, which is rm300 price difference. The similarities are, their weight (2.5 kg), the detachable battery, the soft motorized brush, the hepa filter, the LED light, dustmite and 2 other tools. Seems like similar performance right? But just differ in terms of power suction, warranty and price. Until now I regret buying pricey vacuum when you have other vacuum that has almost similar features and functions but very reasonable and cheaper price. ( my aims for daily use, not heavy/deep clean).
Actually as long as you use it, whichever model, then it's worth it. Sometimes we may buy things cheap or expensive, and it sits in one corner, then it wont be worth at all. I am sure the F20 has got benefits compared to this model also. :-)

Liked the way you explained things clearly including small stuff that occasionally goes through the mind. Kipidap and might be considering getting one unit for the household during another discount season. :)
I'm a bit quite long winded and this video finally became too long. But also really because when I was buying this vacuum, all the videos online didn't give much information, so I just made one to help others. It's ok for the price, but frankly the filter is not so good, unless we add the 3 ply mask, which makes it perfect, after 2-3 times vacuuming, just throw away the 3 ply mask filter and replace. Easy and cheap.
@@StevesReviews Those that are interested in getting the unit will appreciate the effort and detail you went into your guide. The 3 ply mask mod is a fantastic idea for prolonging the unit and most probably able to be used in other brands too if possible. Hope you monetised your videos to get back some cash inflow for your time spent. 👍🏻

Very good idea but we have a suggestion to just get a round mask insert which you don’t have to cut everytime.
Use anything that works for you. :-)

I have issue with when put in the extension rod, the vacuum not working with jist led blinking, but when remove the extension rod, its works. Also if I straight away out the vacuum head and battery unit... it works too.
Mine have issue with the belt broken on vacuum head too. Any idea where to get the spare parts? The seller just not responsive at all.

Hi Steve, could you help to explain how do you lock the motor engine back easily? I wasn’t able to do so.
Align it at the arrow, push down, and turn hard. Maybe the first few times may be tight. But after that ok.
Just make sure everything is tight in place before doing the above.
Hi Steve, thanks for this. In your unboxing video, you mentioned we are encouraged to vacuum in one direction as some customers said the up/down motion may result in spoiling the vacuum/ brush. Is this true?
A lot of comments in the online shopping site says so. But frankly for me, I just roll front and back. But when pulling back, i dont press. No problems yet.
After use about 5 months, my motor brush broken already!
Hi steve. I just bought Perysmith Pro K3. So far so good. Just wanna confirm whether it is ok to use the roller forward and back or just forward only?
I use it both ways, but carefully, until now no problem. I will say that many comments in the sales site say better to use forward only.
I can understand why, because the roller motor works 1 way, and if we push very hard backwards, it might overload the motor which is spinning the brush in the "forward" direction.
But for me until now, no problem. It's too difficult to use 1 way. I use both ways.

Hi Steve, does your vacuum give out odd plastic/ rubbery smell when you're using? I notice that the smell comes from the black rubber ring of the so called hepa filter and the motor also has the same smell. Just to double check if yours is also the same?
I think all economical vacuum has some smell. I can't say if we both are experiencing exactly the same thing though. But mainly I'm more worried about suction dust coming out, hence the 3 ply filter additional which works wonders for me. I am sure the motor will give out some smell as well. My unit doesn't disturb me too much.

Have you encountered when you turn on the vacuum, it works for 2-3 seconds and stops working? And the lights on the battery flickers..
Haven't seen this before. Maybe the contacts of the battery are not good, you can try to clean that? Not sure. If any problem, you should send back to the place you bought it from to check.
Hi steve, im using PS vacum x30. Notice that the brush is stuck and not move after using a few times. Tried unlock and visually observed, nothing wrong from my eyes. Any tips?
If this is still under warranty, if you cannot resolve, best to send to service center. Contact through where you bought it. Sometimes we are also afraid to do more damage because we dont know exactly what problem it is.
I have seen some people complain that the brush no longer spin, one of the reason is they said they vacuum back and forward motion, maybe something got broken (maybe).

Should be ok.. just empty the dust collector often.. it's not a problem

Sebenarnya.. dua-dua yang bulat tu, (hitam and putih), sponge.. I don't believe it's hepa..
Kalau cuci pun, habuk dah masuk dalam..
I am not sure it's supposed to be washed.. tapi kalau sponge (based on my observation), boleh lah.. but better refer to the manual..
Or just follow my tip on using the extra 3 ply mask..

Hi steve. My vacuum light suddenly not turn on after i do the cleaning. And I asked the seller that i need to re-allocate the roller. I tried many times but still nothing happens
Keep trying. If still not successful, you should ask the seller on how to fix it. Could be some electrical contact lose. But the vacuum is working right, only light not turn on?

Hi steve Do you encounter buyers of K3 having this problem ie the battery could not hold its charge!! I experienced this a couple of days ago : no matter the battery is fully charged ( 4 lights all lit up ) the cleaner can only operate for about 10 sec and then died down !! Even after another charge up or without charge the cleaner can only operate a few seconds . Any comments will be helpful to me Thanks in advance
I have not encountered users with this problem. But I suggest you try to figure out exactly what the issue is.
1) is the battery actually not holding charge? with 4 bar, after you use for 10 seconds, does it go down to 0 bar? And you need to charge for 5 hours to get it full again?
or
2) is the battery 4 bar, and it turns off after 10 seconds, but after you check again it's still 4 bars?
I think if it's situation (1), either the battery is faulty, or, there could be a short circuit in the motor which discharges the battery immediately. Either way, you probably need to contact the manufacturer.
If the situation is (2), maybe it's a contact issue between the battery and the motor. Possibly.

@@StevesReviews Hi Steve Thank you for your detailled analysis of my problem . I think it was more of situation 2 since the cleaner was able to restart after it stopped running after about 8 secs . I took off the battery unit & cleaned the contacts . I tried & it stopped again . Cleaned again & then i pressed the turbo switch and this time it ran continuously !!! I let it ran for sometime . I tried again this morning after charging the battery and its working fine . Thank Steve for your advice . I was about to arrange for senting it back to Seller . Now my problem was resolved Thank you again
Hi steve! So my vacuum keeps switching off on its own whenever i try to use it. Any idea why? I even made sure it is already fully charged..
Maybe the contacts of the battery longar tak? Or better just contact the vendor and send for servicing.

no idea. I dont think it has anything to do with putting or not putting the extra layer. The filter has no electrical contacts. So, maybe you can double check and make sure everything is tight.

i have use this vacuum almost 3 month. lately the dust always come out after i off the vacuum. and today have chance to clean properly after saw your video. let see the dust will come out again or not after this. huhuhuhuhuhu..
masukkan 3 ply mask will be great.. tapi yang sponge itu dah masuk habuk.. kena basuh baik2.. nanti tambah 3 ply mask tu.. akan byk baik lagi.
My dust also come out when turn off. Then on and suck again then turn off dust come out again. Repeat a few times and at last use broom to sapu

Probably battery dead, you may need to replace it (it's about RM 100 for the battery !).. or be like me.. i got rid of it, and bought a corded one.. more powerful and no battery issues.

I think you should contact the seller to get it replaced. Maybe it is battery contact problem, connection not good? Or motor problem? But better just send it back and ask them to replace.
My vacuum so far so good. Working ok.
How long can the battery last?
Maybe vacuuming my full house 4 or 5 times. But I suggest the best is you charge it after you vacuum each time.
How long is takes until fully charged?
Usually I just plug it in after every vacuming, which takes about 1 hour. But if from empty, it will take a few hours, maybe 5-6 hours, cant be sure, I rarely keep track on that.
Can i ask for the battery once we buy, first time we have to charge how many hours?? And if fully charged how long can we use it??😊
First time or any time, just charge until the battery indicator stops blinking, and then stop charging.
I could vacuum by house 2 times over on a full charge. It depends on how much dust is clogging your filter and if you use turbo mode etc etc. Dont worry too much about it. It should have more battery than you need for 1 vaccum job. I just charge it after everytime I vacuum
Sir can I wash the brush with water?
I don't represent the company. I am a consumer. I would think as long as there are no electronics or electrical parts, washing should be ok, and as long as you dry it. If there are electronic parts, do not wash it.
will the mask reduce the suction power? just curious
Yes, slightly, but very acceptable. But otherwise if just use the main filter, the main filter will be so dirty that after 2-3 weeks that you may not want to use it after.
What I do is to reuse my "used" 3 ply mask. After using that on myself, i sun dry it for 2 days, then the cut it for the vacuum, so I dont waste.
This product is lasts long ?

I am satisfied. I bought it during offer time for RM 298, and then also extra RM 10 discount voucher from them. So RM 288. I think is ok. This is the only design that I could fit the 3 ply mask extra filter, so it's ok for me.
I would say for me the dust mite filter is not useful, but maybe you could find it useful.

@@ridzuankhairuddin5933 For me it's not useful, but I can't say it for everyone else. I just felt, the brush was not good, and I dont use it. Maybe someone else may find more use for it. I haven't used it once after trying it few months ago (the dust mite brush).
