Yes, good point. You talk to Norwegians, they’ll say Norwegian isn’t so easy to learn, but two the main reasons for that is 1. they’re isn’t excessively accessible material, like tv shows, podcasts and so on, it’s not guaranteed that you’ll find something for you. And 2. the dialects.
discovering someone else's culture through someone else's culture 🤯 seamlessly thanks to the smooth English dubbing. What a great internet era to witness
This was really fun and cozy! I found it very useful, personally, to drop the speed to 0,75x :) Much easier for my slow Finnish brain to keep up with fast Norwegian :D

Kaja sier for eksempel "tyve" i denne videon - en litt "penere" eller gammeldags måte å si 20 på. De fleste sier "tjue". Vi har et par ord som kan sies på mer enn én måte, og jeg tror sånne eksempler hadde forvirret meg om jeg skulle lært norsk på nytt i dag 😅

I think you mistranslated "oppegående". It does not mean "upbeat" as you wrote in the subtitles, but rather "intelligent" or "mentally adequate".
