After watching the video I cut off the threaded portion of a hex stainless steel bolt and used the shaft to make the pin.
Some Gorilla glue and it was good to go. I never would have figured out how to remove or install without this video. Thank you for making it.

    Thank you. Awsome simpe video.
My arm rest on a brand new axis motorhome just fell out.
Watching your video and reading the comment allowed me to repair it.
The pin fell out and wss jammed in the slot.
A paper towel, tooth picks and needle nose pliers allowed me to retrieve it.
Reinstalled and probobly better than new!! Lol

Your video saved me a ton of time. My 1997 conversion Chevrolet express had the same issue. After I couldn't find the pin, either, I bought one and tried it. The arm wouldn't go down past half way... I took the passenger arm on, to see if the length of the replacement pin was off. The passenger arm was the same---half way. So, I took the seat cover off to see the mechanism and see what the problem was. The original pin was jammed in it! A quick smack with a hammer, and it was out. Thanks for your video!

I’ve been pushing and tugging on those seat armrests for months trying to figure out how they come off!!! Thanks so much. Took 20 secs after seeing your video.

Thankyou for your information. I was able to fix mine after watching your video. I also have a quicker more viable fix that anyone can do themselves. The pin is a 3/8" pin. I was able to find a perfect fit after going to my local hardware store. I was thinking I could cut a clevis pin and epoxy it in the hole or even better I found a compression pin that was 3/8"x2". I cut it in half with a Sawzall and it worked perfectly. I drove it in the hole with a hammer till it seated all the way in and that's not coming out, ever. Took me a bit finagling it back in and it works perfect. I checked the other side and wouldn't you know that pin was missing as well. I used the other half and did the same thing and I have a new chair. All for $1.29. Thankyou for your video. I hope if you need to do it to the others that this will help you and anyone else that comes across this problem. I'm gonna get another compression pin and cut it so I'm ready when the other seat does the same thing. Literally took me 20 minutes cause I didn't know what to do to put it back in until I figured it out. I did the other side in 5 minutes. Goodluck.

What size pin did he use. I would go off of the other one but the stationary pin is a larger pin. So what I need is the pin that was gone length wise.
