I recently recognized that oval is one of my favourite cuts. I'm not a diamond girl, but with gold it looks so beautiful and warm. Almost like a different gem. For me it would be the best without entourage. So that the stone can glow for it's own.

It is beautiful but the band is thin and in my experience the smaller stoves often work loose I would prefer a thicker gold of platinum band to showcase the stone. Simple is sometimes the best. Your work is amazing
I don't care for halo settings nor the thin, diamond studded bands. I love the stone, but, id like to see it in a more substantial setting, with a delicate, not puny, platinum shank and the diamond inset with a small lip around the outer edge of the diamond which has been intricately engraved/carved with some type of floral or herolderic insignia. Maybe Greek or Celtic around the stone.
