What is your dream engagement ring?
Should do an episode where the guys come on and explain their journey on buying the ring, i think their honest opinions should be quite funny
Nahh, Jeanette wins bruh. Her ring was handmade by her fiancé. The effort is much more valuable than the price of the ring.
The teal sapphire one is so pretty and love the intention to make it an heirloom 😍

Moissanite one is really shiny, looks good on her too. Pink diamonds around the main one is cute, but I won't pay the price for it.. The first one is a steal, good price and elegant too.:)
The one by Jeannette is great. If I were to get married, I want a handmade engagement ring. Doesn't have to have an expensive stone.

I love the Decagon and infinity setting diamond ring. They are gorgeous. And the 2nd last diamond clarity is marvellous
Renae’s ring 9k not 9 carat. 9K refers to the gold not the diamond. Total of 9 carat is huge
9k means will turn rusty btw. 14k/18k is recommended for everyday wear!

This was a nice way to share different engagement rings. I did notice that all the price points for the diamond rings were high- too high across the board (earth mined and lab grown). For example, the lab grown diamond of that carat weight, even not yet knowing the color and clarity, should be closer to $1,500. Interesting. That Decagon ring is so lovely. It looks like a Jann Paul design.

She probably meant 0.9 carats total, not 9. Those are most likely pink sapphires and not pink diamonds. The ring with the hidden infinity setting seems crafted best, the diamond isn't set too high like some of the others. Nice to see these girls caring for their partners and loving what they got :)
yea 9 carats is alot and no way it will be at that price point even if its lab grown

It’s all subjective. Just get what you like within your personal budget. There’s really no need to put down others more expensive ring just because you can’t afford it, it just make you seem bitter. That most expensive ring means a lot to the couple too.

They are *REALLY* expensive for the carat size. It's like the smaller it gets, the more it costs.
My diamond ring is 2.25ct, E VVS1 and cost me $18k
I worked in jewelry, it’s not the smaller it is that it costs more and you got a really good deal on your diamond. The 4 Cs affects the cost. Is your diamond lab made?
My ring is 4.2ct emerald cut VVS2 E and it cost $14k, IGI certified so the price of these rings really surprised me!

Those are pink sapphires, pink diamonds are not dark and saturated like that

To be honest the last ring is the prettiest. It is unique and has nice touches with the pink stones underneath. The design of the ring is such that the solitaire stands out. There were some other rings in the video where the specs are good but the diamond is overshadowed by the band or other details.

But it’s only .7 carats. Sounds very overpriced. At $12k, you should be close to 1.5 carats.
@EbonyRivers1 you can get a 1.5 carat diamond that is $5K if it has low specs. It all depends on the quality of the diamond, not just the size.
@@kovuroo Perhaps. I recently bought a high quality 2 carat lab diamond for under $5k. I just know I’d never pay $12k for just .7 carat. That sounds like a total ripoff.
@@EbonyRivers1 that sounds right for a lab diamond. Natural diamonds are usually double or triple the price of a lab diamond due to the time and effort it takes to retrieve it. Also, in my experience I have seen lab diamonds up close and they vary a lot in an eye test even if they are all the same specs. I decided to go with a natural diamond simply because it sparkled more than the lab diamond. At the same time, I have seen moissonite rings that are also super sparkly. 🤷🏻♀️
@@kovuroo I love my lab diamond. It’s an F, VS1, and I was initially nervous about it having a tint as I’ve read they can sometimes look gray or blue, but this one is perfect. My jeweler did an outstanding job. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to natural diamonds. Moissanite is very pretty, but I slightly prefer the white diamond sparkle rather than the rainbow sparkle of moissanite. I did consider it as an option before I decided.

Lynette @ 6:52 , would consider a different setting because it looks like the diamond does not fit flush into the band as it should be, God forbid the diamond becomes loose if its knocked it could be trouble.
Those are pink sapphire, I'm 99,5% sure, pink diamonds are much much lighter in color and not as saturated, a gemologist here

Looks like I'm the only woman who chooses her own ring. Spent less than 1k and still sparkles as bright to this day.
My husband can’t afford an engagement ring for me we we’ve discussed when we’re more financially stable we’d get a memorial lab grown diamond ring using his late mom’s ashes along with my hair because she left us before we tied the knot and it was something my husband promised her but she left too soon😢

Quality has gone down over the decades? Either faux diamonds or real but tiny ones? Yet same high prices as ever. More a criticism of the shops and the industry than anything else.
Ring no 1: whats called an “illusion diamond ring” (cluster of tiny ones to mimic one large solitaire)
Ring no 2: same as above. Stone fell out so was not best quality Aus ring. Wonder if Michael Hill (Aus store with poor rep)?
Ring no 3: lab grown mineral (Moissanite) - NOT naturally grown.
Ring no 4: lab diamond.
Etc etc
All these rings are RSP, but now resale value has been dropped almost 60 to 70%. 10K ring resale would be from 4 to 6k range. Not sure spending big is worth it especially for men's.

LMFAO Is this video some kind of joke or something I'm not getting? I'm not sure if y'all just have no knowledge about diamonds or what but my first engagement ring before I upgraded was a VS1 D color triple excellent cut .76 natural brilliant diamond set in 18k white gold 6 prong setting that had a vintage setting of alternating round and oval cuts in the shank. It was custom made for me by a prestigious jeweler that only makes custom pieces unless they are estate/vintage pieces and it was $3500. That was with a stunningly blinding nearly perfect stone with no florescence, eye clean, colorless stone and VS1 colorless melee in the shank. Most of these looked like moissanite (and not quality moissanite) and the pricing was absolutely BS. I call BS on this whole video 😂

Teal sapphire is regarded as 'un desireable' stone in the gem stone industry. To see it priced at this nonsensical 5k amt is hurting. Literally if only someone just googled sapphire stones.the valuable ones are cornflower and royal blue.
