I agree that this challenge is way less interesting than kaizo levels when it comes to grinding out a clear (as some people noticed I started incorporating speedrun tech more to make it more interesting), but it was pretty fun just testing rooms out to see if they’re possible or not. Also this challenge is like infinitely more fun than lap 3 and the likes imo.
Yeah, this is pretty much the exact same opinion I have. I really dislike lapping mods so I do this instead, but grinding out rooms to see if they're possible is definitely the best part of it
@@NOTaNaBC I don't think lap mods are bad because they're too easy (I actually think elm is the best), I just think lap mods suck because A: all the difficulty is backloaded on >3 laps, so the first two laps is basically filler B: the difficulty is entirely chokepoint carried, majority of it is free then there's a sudden difficulty spike then it goes back to being free C: beyond lap 3 is not only repetitive, but also just feel like pure slop, it basically just feels like little timmy throwing a billion things together just to make it artificially harder (which most of the time it's redundant, like the WAR timer and snick in lap 4 do basically jack shit) This challenge, while it does still have issue B, it eliminates issues A and C which makes it more enjoyable (but I still prefer kaizo levels since none of these issues exist if done right)

Scoutdigo Death Mode- BUT you can’t get any clocks to reset the time (except for the ones that are blocking the way entirely, although theoretically you could just mod the game and remove all the clocks) If you decide to do this, have fun!

yeah it took me barely any time 😭 I did this mainly cause I wanted to redeem myself from my segmented vids which I did back when I sucked more at the game, the only failable parts are like the 5 chokepoints that exist and even those are pretty consistent especially since I have so much speedrun experience btw do you know any pizzaface chase challenges that you think would be extremely hard to do in one segment? I don't mean endurance based stuff like this, more like single level stuff
@@LeBabol before noise update happened, you could use popup as a way to setup an eric, which allowed for a couple big timesaves (in peppibot and ancient cheese) that were even used in fullgame, however it was only viable in those two spots because popup was super inconsistent after noise update, popup was removed so popup erics were impossible however this update not only added back popup, but also made it so popup gave a consistent height every time which in turn made erics consistent, not only that but also left to right erics are possible too (previously you could only do erics when initially moving right) so essentially, erics are basically viable for every single spot they can possibly be used now
@@LeBabol to be fair, all the changes made were thanks to cocoasprinkle, there's a mod called "speedrunner's banquet" (gamebanana.com/mods/509375 ) which was made before this update came out that had all these speedrun changes, this update was basically just porting the mod to the base game it's still very cool that mcpig actually ported the mod to the base game though
Yeah the vast majority of lap mod obstacles barely impact the overall route in a meaningful way and eventual it becomes unnecessary like adding bomb goblin fake santa hard mode snick give shit elite doesnt do much to effect the strategy

Put debug mode on your Pizza Tower, then on debug mode, put panic 20, 50, 12 or any number you wanted and after that put panic
I do panic 0 in debug twice, second time is so pizza time gets disabled
