I'm so jealous right now!!!! I love this game too, I've played it for hours. I've already pre-ordered the Switch version on the Nintendo eShop and it's downloaded on my console, waiting for March 20th... 😁 I also considered buying this special Switch but having two Switches felt like a bit too much even for me (who btw also happen to be a non-responsible adult xD). Oh and happy birthday a bit ahead of time! Mine is just 10 days after yours. Enjoy the game!! 🤩🎮

@campkira It’s not just Nintendo’s tradition, back in 2007 the Halo 3 themed Xbox 360 console...came with no such game itself.
I mean it costs the same amount as a regular switch. There’s no additional price, so it’s not cheating anybody. Plus you can always get the games digitally so you don’t have to worry about stock issues.

I played Pocket Camp weeks before getting New Horizons, think it was a good way to introduce myself to the world of Animal Crossing. I still play the former sometimes now.

Honestly I really wanted the joy cons and couldn’t wait and so I went on mercari to buy some. If you want animal crossing switch stuff or the whole switch look on mercari if you don’t mind spending some money.

Lauren F. It was a regular amazon restock, not from resellers thankfully. A reseller would’ve marked it up like crazy. I used nowinstock.net to keep track. I signed up for email/phone notifications and out of nowhere I got a text that they restocked and screamed lol.

When it comes to the island transferring between your Nintendo Switches, if you play on one Switch and you buy the new Animal Crossing Switch or whatever Switch you end up wanting to play on instead, just connect your account from your old Switch onto your new Switch. It totally works, I've done it before with other games and all of my data transfers! Just thought I would help yall out!!!
Tegan Mashburn I think Nintendo only lets you transfer specifically your Animal Crossing Island one time, and any other time you have to contact support. It’s the unfortunate truth (assuming I’m right in remembering that).

I was planning on buying a nintendo switch (neon red and blue), especially since I'm in quarantine till april 6th maybe even longer. But unfortunately on every site I looked they are already sold out and also missed the pre-order for april (because of COVID-19 they have in the netherlands now pre-orders on some sites).

I just got that very package for Christmas 🎄. This is actually my very first Switch. At first, I ripped the box, but then I put it back together, taped it up, and figured it out how it worked. But that was after I got the Switch components out of the box. Keeping the box as original as I just opened it. Merry Christmas Justine! 🎅 🎄

I'm so glad you managed to get your hands on one, it sounds like you really would have regretted not getting it. Enjoy! I would love to see more Switch content over the next little bit! I finally made the decision to get a Switch and had enough money saved up (obvi not this one because I missed the preorder and everything) and they are gone everywhere (except for those who are taking advantage of the situation and bought a whole bunch to sell at least twice the retail price). I guess I'll have to wait to get my hands on one until after all this insanity is over 🤷🏻♂️.

Don't worry this is a stressful time and video games offer a way to escape. I've been looking for a switch for about a week and a half and I found someone this morning and got a used one! I say try Facebook marketplace or some other seller websites such as Kijiji or craigslist. Good luck with your search, and don't pay more than $50 above retail price because that's just crazy.

They don’t have the special edition version anymore unless you buy from a third party, but when I tried to track the red and blue Nintendo switch for my sister and best friend. I had to wake up every morning when target and Walmart would open and ask electronics if they received any in stock. It took about a week to find one that did. So you just have to literally call Walmart and target every morning and be ready to drive over because they sell out fast

I asked this for a birthday and Christmas combo present. And we were going to pre-order it. But they all sold out in like a hour. I was really sad about this. And then we thought that they weren't going to pop up again. So then for my birthday Christmas combo present combo, I got a laptop. And the day that I got my laptop, I was told that some were going to be coming back in stock. Every time that I think about this switch I just cry. Cause it is such a beautiful switch and I just love Animal Crossing. Finding out that I even had a chance of getting one and then not being able to really hurt. Plus when the Let's GO Eevee Switch was announced I really wanted that one but wasn't able to get it. Plus because of the quarantine it's just been a really hard. Time. And watching this video just made me cry from happiest and sadness. Because you got one. But I wasn't able to get one.
I don't own a Switch. Hadn't intended on getting one at all. Until ACNH video's started flooding my subscription feed. I had never played an AC game before. But with all the hype around ACNH, I decided to download ACNL for my 2ds. It's only been a week and a half and I'm already obsessed. I'm still figuring a lot of things out. I've typed in the words "Animal Crossing New Leaf" about a thousand times in the last three days alone. I went to all the used games websites and entered my email address for when they get an ACNL in stock. I want more of them, so I can get different towns.
I'll probably end up getting a Switch at some point. Once the hype has died down and they're not such a hot commodity.
