Thank you for sharing, Jennifer! You are such a joy to watch. Please share more of your heart for Jesus and the adventures He takes you on. God bless your New Year and beyond!❤
I love the designs on those doors behind you, so pretty! I understand what you are saying about taking a time of rest in each week and I can see the benefit of it for you. I, personally, believe that Jesus is our Sabbath rest every day. The weekly Sabbath was given to the Jews in the Old Testament Law and Jesus fulfilled all the Law, so we are no longer bound to the keeping of the Law. I practice seeking Him and resting in the Spirit each day, which brings the rest in my soul. I’m not saying I’m more spiritual than anyone, I’m saying Jesus is enough.
All of the designs on the doors too. I hear what you’re saying about Jesus being enough, for me the Sabbath allows me to make more time for him to be enough!
Oh, my goodness, so glad to have you back, I kept checking last year and praying for you . God doesn’t leave usJen and he will continue to carry you through. There will still be much good that will come out of your trials and difficulties. I wish a Very Happy New Year truly , May God bless you. Your story is evidence God lead you to exactly where you needed to go. He is watching out for you And over you . He is already using your story to encourage others because I’m encouraged. ❤ can’t wait to read your new book. And Amen to sabbath rest!
Thanks so much for your encouragement! You are so right in saying that God doesn’t leave us, though sometimes it’s hard to see him in the story when we’re going through it
Thanks for making the eBook available! I am looking forward to it. This past year has been wearing for a lot of people across the globe. Your themes seem right on track as we pick up and grow from this. A sabbath rest (including a longer one over the holidays) has gone far to help me regroup.
Thanks for your openness and story. It's helps to hear that I'm not alone in the struggle. I wish that 2025 will become a great year for you. And yes, I guess it's a great idea to honour the sabbath better...... to bad I watched it on a saturday. 😉 I will try to do better... and look for your book.
2024 has been my hardest year since my i left my wife in 2007. At the end of February i lost Mom to Dementia. It's not nice to say but it was a relief to me. Then a week after my Mom's Funeral my Uncle, Mom's Brother passed away. He is the guy who got me into the trade i'm in now and miss him dearly. I look forward to waking up in the mornings just to remember my dreams and to have seen and spoke to him again. Mom? well', i'm starting to miss her now. I'm executer to both estates and that also brings it own worries ect. Glad to see you back Jennifer.
@@JenniferCarterWriter Thank you. It's the circle of life though isn't it. Hope your 2025 is what you wish for to. Changing the subject, is there a health service there and can you use it?
@JenniferCarterWriter I am interested about the intersection of your cottage life with your faith and community life. I am with you on the much needed time away to refresh, enjoy the beauty of God's creation, time less distracted, etc. But then I know I need to reach back into community, give back. I am very interested in your approach. (Just an idea.)
I'm so sorry that 2024 was so difficult for you, Jennifer. I can definitely relate! May God be your strength in 2025 and beyond!
Thank you. And the same to you!

I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your mum and uncle, that must’ve been so hard. Hope that 2025 will be an easier year for you

And you. As for health care, I haven’t had occasion to find out yet!
Thanks! But what about your swedish cottage? :)
Tour of the inside should be coming soon!
What else would you be interested to know?
