Esthetician here: this is definitely more true than not, however, majority of the "black heads" you see on your nose are not actually impacted pores that have oxidized (black heads). They're sebaceous filaments, which help to spread oil onto the surface of the skin to protect from free radicals, outside particles, and also to lubricate the skin. If you pull these filaments out, not only are you damaging your skin by ripping the top few layers off, but the filaments will always come back as they are necessary for your skin's lubrication system. Best way to get rid of black heads? Go to an esthetician and have them carefully extract any clogged pores. A little DIY tip if you're short on cash, take a little spoonful of table sugar and add it to your face wash once a week. This will gently exfoliate chemically as well as physically, and will break down the black heads safely.
That’s why you moisturize afterwards…add a light oil like shea butter or mango butter and your skin won’t feel the need to produce oil. So pore strips are fine to use
Salicylic acid does not take out the small hairs that some people have there. It is only a solution for blackheads. Pore strips will pull out the small hairs also. The skin increases its natural oil production if the area is left dry, if you moisturize the area after using a pore strip, or even a cleanser, you can prevent the excess oil production.
@@liu3chan Yes, you can benefit from salicylic acid and pore strips. Pore strips should be used rarely though. If your pores are very clogged, it would be good to use a pore strip then moisturizer. To maintain it, keep moisturizing and using salicylic acid

How to use
yup. my husband and i are both sweaty af and we get actual blackheads and whiteheads all over our noses. this technique works for him but not for me because im chubby and hes skinny, so i use a flattened push pin and it works wonders, so satisfying to have the blackheads come out like little worms/strings
@@RushikeshWathore-mg9cbpush your nose upwards from the bottom to remove blackheads and use something flat to scrape off the blackheads that got removed (don't literally scrape your skin) or just lightly rub it off you after it gets removed
Anyone else notice the subtitles he put on said "Poor Strips"?
Moral of the story: like the Brands Chapstick and Carmex, the more you use it the more it messes things up
People are quick to jump to pore strips being so bad yet they fail to realise that allot of other things are causing the same damage if not more, as people should know use sparingly and do your own research preferably with a dermatologist < 3
