The only positions where I want to keep my seniors is on my OL-D-line every other position unless I like the player and their attributes I expect them ti be gone by their 3rd year I got to many young boules that need to eat! We running this ship like Saban get your degree in 3 years, ball out then get the hell out of my program and go get paid!
That's weird I averaged 17 Blue Chips per class once my coach is maxed out and I need to save Farm players leaving. I'm trying to have a 99 overall team rating
- Unlock CEO and program builder, use everything you need out of them to polish off your build until you have no more points available (i.e., friends and family, bundle discount) - After using all of your points at level 50, take a coordinator job for a season and get refunded all of your points you used in CEO and Program Builder. Do not spend any of your refunded points right now - take another head coach job at the end of the season (hopefully at another "dream" school), unlock program builder again but NOT CEO - Spend 24-36 of your refunded points on your pipeline boosts. Spend the remaining on whatever else you want in in tactician, architect, motivator, recruiter, etc. At level 50 you really don't need CEO anymore. Program Builder is the main ability that will get you into the big programs you want to coach. There are a few nice abilities under CEO but those points are better off being refunded and spent elsewhere.
10:34 "You're building your team for 3-4 year intervals." That is the issue. If you are recruiting elite players and building them optimally, then you should really build your team for 3-year intervals, and view 4th and 5th years from players as unexpected bonuses.
The only way around it is to make an empty XP build where you focus on only Recruiter and Tactician/Strategist, and expect about 60%/40% (maybe) of your players take longer to develop, thus stay extra years.
@DenniDownBad I would not say so. You want your players to develop, churn out more, give younger players draft XP, increase All your prestige and rankings including Pro Potential, rinse, and repeat. You want Motivator to build them, and you want Recruiter to get them. I was just giving an alternative to keeping players longer, even if that is suboptimal in the long run.
The best perk combo in the game for recruiting at small schools is lvl 3 all in the base recruiter tree + lvl 2 Relationship Builder and lvl 3 Strong Roots from the Program Builder tree The best way to utilize it is to learn your school's main pipeline then build your coach with that same pipeline (Ex. Jacksonville State = Alabama pipeline). lvl 1 Roots and lvl 2 RB is a total of 3 pipeline levels directly to your main pipeline which at lvl 5, depending on your recruiting location, will yield as many 4 star or 5 star recruits you need. It is relatively cheap and you'll have most of these perks by lvl 25. I've pulled in 2 5 star gem LBs competing with B grade school pitches against Alabama and Georgia. Only downside is you need to actually get to Program Builder first, but the convenience of coaching a team like Jax State is Conference USA is pretty easy to win...both in game and irl (lol), so you'll easily make the playoffs
I personally dont think Delay Sunday works. Like, at all. Ive experimented with it by having a save file before I bought the perk & one after. Did it 20 times with and then 20 times without. Not only did the randomized “LEAVING” stay consistent, the High Quality first round picks that said “NONE” under persuasion, you know, the ones I was buying the perk for, continued to leave. Every single time. No matter how many times I generated it. I stick with development and recruiting perks. They are evident and can not be hidden.
@culturethekidd Good to know. I have not tested Delay Sunday, because I want the year-over-year Draft XP boosts. If you like development, the only terrific CEO ability is Senior Superlatives to 100% push All skill caps of Seniors +1.
Raising skill caps of rising seniors is huge when combined with tier 1 motivator that boosts the XP for drafted players. It can boost your guys enough to get more positions to qualify and have a synergistic effect.
The best method for a build is making a feeder coach. Pick a power house coach that has room to grow win your 2 national titles get ceo and bundle discount skill and the and the program builder with friends and family skill . Then retire switch to the coordinator and now you can get crazy discounts and free archetype

I have 4 different dynasties, 3 w friends and one solo. With friends we did favorite teams, 1⭐️, and then just whatever. So I have Miami, Liberty, and Clemson. My solo I took UAB. Each coach has a similar but different build so far. I just moved UAB into the SEC so I’m anxious to see how that affects recruiting.
Dream school is only worth it if you go level 4 recruiter for initial interest… and architect is worth it to get level 1 for every position. I go level 3 Oline/Dline
I feel the Bundle perks aren't terrible. Coaches leave often, so i want my new coach to build easier when he's selected as my DC/OC. You can also reset those top perks by leaving for a OC/DC job. You retain the points. Limitless with Tier 1 players is also OP.
How well does architect tier 1 and specifically 2 work? I’m planning to focus on Motivator T1-3 and Architect T2 with the Rising senior cap removal as well

@@jonanderson9185 You'll have RS JR/SR that stick around that it benefits a lot. But I waited ten season to finally use those points becusse it took forever to find coaches with those perk+friends with benefits. I did the max perk build where i started at Ole Miss, then to Georgia and saved all my points to only put in when discounted. so forced wins basically the first three season to setup this build.
Second chance in ceo absolutely sucks. I have it in my offline and not a single time has it worked in the 8 seasons I’ve had it lol, if a guys a first round pick they are not staying
@@von1k955I tried telling this to a guy in my league. He had a 94 CB who was gonna be 1st round, but he convinced him to come back because he “needed him”. I told him he totally missed out on XP points for all the guys under him.
Thanks for this. Ever since you told us awhile ago to get CEO I saved all my points and spent it in my main dynasty league and felt like it was a huge waste based on what you've said. Now I'm not happy but at least I can use it to get dream school then just focus on motivator to boost the rest of my skills .
@keiyonmonroe1579 I would advise purchasing Senior Superlatives instead to increase All Seniors Skill Caps +1. You get more mileage out of it, it is not chance-based, and you will affect more players year-over-year. But Dream School is still not terrible if you hold off on handing out scholarships until you are first on a team list.

So let’s say you make a new coach at the start of the season…..how do you prevent the bulk of players whose deal breaker is coaching prestige from leaving? It’s happened to me in a couple leagues and idk how to stop it

YOU DON'T NEED DELAY SUNDAY! JUST CHANGE THEIR POSITION TO SOMETHING WITH A LOW OVERALL, LIKE QB BEFORE THE PLAYER LEAVING SCREEN COMES AND CHANGE IT BACK, WHEN THE POSITION CHANGE SCREEN COMES. IF YOU CHANGE THEIR POSITION ANYTIME BEFORE THAT, IT WILL LOWER THEIR OVERALL. AND YES. YOU'RE WELCOME!
Somewhat of a good possibility to lower their overalls permanently and hurt the player. Also, not Everyone wants to do that as it is not within the normal parameters of the game, and online leagues will definitely not allow that.
i have done this twice and both times my dynasty got corrupted. For some reason the game doesn't like players positions being changed unless its during the off-season. You clearly had better luck than I did.
If you don’t have CEO can multiple abilities stack? I thought only the one you have the most points in are active. It says the name under the coach picture.
The assistant coaches abilities def stack. Easy way to tell is your recruiting points. The only way to get 80 is with you and your assistant coaches have level 3 in recruiting. If they don't you'll see the difference.
I am getting jumped constantly by a user playing Tennessee in week 1 after me leading and both just offering scholarships. How is that possible that all these 5 stars jump so much for him and not me. I am elite recruiter and everything.
I feel this way about many of the non-recruiter abilities. You spend a ton of points on the insta-commit one and then have 1/10 of guys commit each year. In an online league it feels like the way to go is recruiter, motivator for the training bonuses and then I have no idea where to put points
@atjohns2 I Invested in s geme guru over ceo and program builder, only getting the pass defense and rushing offense options I've felt it makes a huge difference in my running game and pass defense I feel it's underrated
@atjohns2 I imagine Tactician or Strategist. Strategist to help huge boosts in recruiting, or Tactician because over 10-year dynasties, soon Every Coach and Coordinator will have gained points in Tactician, and Every team will have +4-6 Overall in Every player, and your team could potentially have better players, but operating at the same level because they make it up in Tactician boosts.

Delay Sunday also doesn’t work well
If I win the nati I let everyone go who wants to go. Is that good or not. Cause the more people you put in the NFL helps your schools Ranking

Be patient with getting CEO, as the discounted coach abilities will allow you to unlock more skills and have a truly well rounded coach
Also when your coordinators leave it'll help your new coordinators level faster and select perks you've already selected for bigger boosts

I'm assuming if you are in a sim only dynasty, am I correct that tactician isn't needed?
For motivator tier 1, does only the next guy on the depth chart get the bonus or do all guys under the starter get it?

You probably will just need to deal with that for a 1-3 seasons.

pipeline boost is only good at schools who dont atrract big name guys .. i used it at my favorite one now and i pull dawgs .. to minnesota!
also recruiting is elite in that week 7-8 blend you can snatch a few dawgs with a full press !!
