Best Tutorial I have ever seen. Just the right speed. Some tutorials are too fast and some are way too slow. This one was perfect. Not to mention he went over things multiple times and we did it on multiple pages. I feel I can actually build a website from this one tutorial.
Thank you for this tutorial. I recently took on the task of voluntarily maintaining the web site of a small nonprofit organization. The web site is primarily information for the organization’s members. My predecessor designed the site and was very knowledgeable about Elementor and Wordpress. Most of what I know I have learned as I go along. Many of the tutorials that I have looked at are way over my head and are for far more complex web sites than the one that I am working with. Your😂 tutorial is just right in the pace of your step by step instructions and the content, Thanks again. 😅

1:13:00 If you look at the style tab next to color you can see the checkerboard pattern is showing to the right of the word color. You would need to uncheck that in the color setting.

Wes, great job on the video, it was EXACTLY what I was looking for to learn about Elementor. Sadly I have been a developer for over 15 years and I have never taken the time to learn WordPress and what it has to offer. I have always done everything from scratch, this has given me the boost that I need to continue with my next project using nothing but WordPress.

i was just thinking about this..wondering if "real" developers use tools like wordpress to build websites. im a designer first, but have clients whos sites i build and manage.
I started with squarespace, then webflow, and now i'm digging into wordpress. I could never build a site from scratch, but then I was wondering, why would anybody chose to do that when there's tool like this? i would assume it may be cheaper? but is that even cost effective?
i guess if you're doing something extraordinary, but even then can't you add custom code if needed? i found webflow to be so flexible, I haven't yet run into anything I could recreate from my original design. i cannot say the same for squarespace and i'm getting the impression that wordpress is more similar to squarespace than it is webflow..is that true?
@@anon5660 Not at all... wordpress can do anything without limitations, and most websites you see are built on it. Are you really asking about elementor? There would be more limits technically, but you can still do pretty much anything with it too.

What has changed to make you now suggest using the hello theme and elementor templates?

One question tho, I would like to use this approach to redo the website of the company I'm currently working for, how would you go about doing this for an already created wordpress site? Thanks for this tutorial Wes! I chose the same kit that you chose, but after day or two I activated Blocksy theme in WordPres, and some things of my website changed. How can i fix this? How can i go back and chose the wireframe 3 theme you chose?

Hi Wes! This video looks great but im not able to figure out how you got to the Elementor website after clicking “activate” in the WP plugin settings. I was able to find an Elementor site from the plug-in settings but it looks different from your video and there are no free plans available. hi - thank for the video! I have a question: I have already begun building my WP website on a free theme "shapely". I've done quite a bit of work so far so I obv don't want to start anew. Is it possible to use the WP Elementor plugin two add functionality and customizability to the existing theme I am working on. Without starting from scratch, that is? If yes, how do I do this? If not, can I create the new pages of the same website with the Ellementor plugin (even though the front page has not used this Elementor)?
