And there's not only one Joseph in Bible.The Joseph that Mr.Ben was talking about was not Joseph,father of Jesus,But the Joseph,son of Jacob who was a minister for Egyptian king and was able to predict occurence of a great drought and so he was able to convince the king to produce grains enough to survive through the drought.
I'm sure if Joseph built the pyramids to store grains but I felt like sharing this story from Bible.

The Quran has mentioned many accounts from history, some in elaborate detail and others have been mentioned briefly for us to take lessons and wisdom from. There has not been a clear mention of the pyramids of Egypt in enough description for us to know for certain, however, Allah (SWT) does mention the following in Surah Qasas:
And Pharaoh said, “O eminent ones, I have not known you to have a god other than me. Then ignite for me, O Haman, [a fire] upon the clay and make for me a tower that I may look at the God of Moses. And indeed, I do think he is among the liars” (28-----38)
He also mentions a similar statement in Surah Mu’min:
And Pharaoh said, “O Haman, construct for me a tower that I might reach the ways - The ways into the heavens - so that I may look at the deity of Moses; but indeed, I think he is a liar” (40:36-37)
The efforts put in on the content on such subjects is simply commendable.

Hi Druv, thanks for these great videos. Just a minor correction, the Joseph who was referred to by Ben Carson was not Jesus’ foster father (who lived around 30 BCE - 20 CE) but another biblical character whose name also was Joseph, son of Jacob, who lived around 1500 BCE and was a minister of Egypt under one of the Pharaohs. Stories are told about this Joseph that he did indeed build large granaries to counter famine and help store surplus crops for Pharaoh and Egyptian populous. God bless!

The pyramid was once topped by a capstone known as a pyramidion. The material it was made from is subject to much speculation; limestone, granite or basalt are commonly proposed, while in popular culture it is often solid gold or gilded
