I'm fine with Bandai tossing in new accessories for con exclusives so long as they keep making them available to the general public. It's just smart business as it gives people who didn't get the figure and those who did a reason to buy the new one. I do prefer the anime color scheme with Raditz, but the new one does look better, even if it doesn't look "right" to me.
Missed out on the original Raditz so I'm definitely gonna pick this one up. Thanks for the review!
Just happy I have another shot at getting a Raditz. I remember passing on the first one since it was a p Bandai exclusive.
The skin tone does look more real one the new one or more like a real person I honestly love it and can't wait to get it awesome video looking forward to Majin Vegeta

When the original release came out, i felt it accesorie lacking or missin something for its price and "exclusivity!", and i always said it had to have a gohan child hittin him accesorie, and now with that gohan appearin in this release, confirms to me the regular release needed it at the very beginning
It seems we finally are getting a figure for Toddler Gohan.
Seeing the skin side by side really pops the new one!
Note that on the first release of the animated series dragon ball z raditz the scooter is green while the scouter the re-release is blue
Is going to be sold in premium Bandai in August and normally that means that is going to be sold in the rest of the world but just , initially, in Bandai web site of every country.

Anybody got the ETA on when beast gohan releases? I pre-ordered him on pbandai so im just wondering when he'll ship out.
The exclusive raditz, if you compare it to nappa the colors look similar with them both having a blue scouter and the yellow armor plates.
Actually, Nappa have a Pink scouter, and the yellow is way more vibrant
@@lucass.r.1021 i think your comparing the scouter color with vegeta's, but i understand most likely in your country the colors are different so that would make sense

Yes, the newer version has manga accurate color scheme while the previous one is more based on the anime.
It's not manga colors, the sdcc is based off of a illustration toriyama drew.

@@mrzeromafia It's simple as looking it up. The manga version is almost the same as his anime counterpart, with the bands being white instead of red. The illustration has the blue scouter and lighter colors on the armor.

For the question of the day regarding the exclusive accessories, I am actually okay with it and this Gohan. If the Gohan was like the Chiaotzu where it was articulated, I think that would be a bit too much for an exclusive. But give that this Gohan has neck articulation and only 2 faces, I think it's okay. Part of what makes it okay, too, is the fact that these have always been available on P-Bandai or other sites after the fact as well.

i love the look of this figure but it really annoys me that raditz is in his manga colors while gohan is in his anime colors. i understand why they did it but i wouldnt personally display this raditz with the included gohan, the mismatch would kill me.
Finally someone said it!!!! To each their own. But its the OG Raditz that's better.. I just can't get with the Manga Raditz. Them colors throwing me off

I like the armor colors of the anime but the skin tone is how ALL figures should come with nice skin tone and shading. Unlike the half azz stuff they have been releasing

It is definitely too much for an exclusive. Imagine they make an EE yamcha with a puar accessory and they never make a puar again. Yea they are easier to get, but not for international buyers.

For Majin Vegeta review, please compare him to SSJ2 exclusive Goku and the recent Vegeta.

@@AnthonysCustoms it's relevant. And because of the hair comparison of SSJ2 and Majin Vegeta because they share a fight scene together. We wanted to know what they looked like when they were displayed together.

You are right the 2021 sdcc were made available on the namco uk store and I waited in vain for them to do so for last years exclusives but it never happened.

Toriyama needed a low level hench for Piccolo and Goku to kill to setup this god awful arc. The Goku bro thing just seemed thrown in to make Raditz sorta significant.

Is the paint chipping still the same on the new one? And I personally prefer the anime colours from the original but the skin tone definitely is better on the new one.
i didnt have any paint chipping on the old one. where did you have chipping?
@@AnthonysCustoms on one of mine the white around the stomach chips very easy it all but came off on the first one I bought.
weird. never had anything like that happen on an shf.
@@AnthonysCustoms yeah first time I've had paint issues but it seems to be on both the ones I have hasn't happened on the second one but that's literally just for display and it's not an thing of I'm overly rough or anything I handle these things with more care than anything.
@@retroguy95might be a more isolated issue. Never heard any chipping on raditz as well. Mine is still good albeit weak hip joints which makes him flop on the shelf at times.
