I used a Sculpin jig I tied for the 2nd Winter Steelhead I caught last January. Was so cool to catch a fish on a jig I tied. Thank you, Bill Herzog, for showing how to tie and fish those jigs.
Another awesome vid Jordan. Thanks to you and the entire crew who make it happen for us time and again. Teaming up with legend Bill just doesn't get any better.
he has a very good point with the contrast, try taking a picture of the colors you are using on a bait and switch the photo to black and gray so you can see the values of the colors. bolds and lights.
Watching these addicted videos and finding Bill has made me do so much research on the sculpin jigs. Gathering stuff up as we speak to build my own Herzog jigs
I love seeing the success, from the Addicted fishing guys. and seeing Slays J's with her jigs. with the help ov getting her product out there that's totally wicked! guys keep HAMMERDOWN!!
Bill is such an OG. Spoon Fishing and Drift Fishing for Steelhead were my absolutely bibles growing up. I literally would bring those books down to the Wilson with me when I was 6 years old.
Love the videos!!!!! Keep it up! That pyramid lake video was awesome! That’s my home lake been fishing there since I was a kid. You needa fish the banks with twitching jigs dead winter Ive caught some 20+ lb cuttys ona regular
Hey man, just wanted to stop by and tell you thank you. I grew up on Maui fishing the ocean. Recently moved to Washington a few weeks ago and I've never done any freshwater fishing. I've watched a bunch of your videos and today I went to an alpine lake and caught my first two brook trout ever! Used a spinner (pink rooster tail, silver spinner), and worked the bank looking for structure to cast by like you've taught us and it worked! Thanks dude. Keep the lines tight.
What a fun day! I've been jigging for trout for many years. Come down to California, I will put you on the biggest rainbows you have ever seen! I have lots of pics.
Nail polish lol your given away the store bill .been painting lures with it for years.if a woman say oooo I like that color use it lol sparkle works too .
Hows the salmon fishing been was at columbia sat there was so many boats saw popov and cam guiding we were just on anchor took us 40 min to get out because so many boats at the ramp.
I think them fish would eat anything, any method, try steel lake in Federal Way , try angle lake in SeaTac sees how many they catch with their fishing expert
Probably my favorite place to bring my dog is fishing, that like saying you shouldn’t bring and show a friend or other people fishing because your worried there going to do something wrong. Live and learn brother
Y'all should stop claiming the innovation of twitching jigs for everything. Sorry to inform you but my father taught me how to twitch jigs for trout at Castle Lake when I was 10 years old after we hiked in over the hill side before it was a popular spot to go to.
What a fun day on the river with a good buddy and two happy pups!
I would love to see a video on how to tie herzog jig.
Jordan made a video on how to tie them . It was the " homemade trout lure fishing challenge. " it's in the archives.
Great comment! Great reply! Thanks guys!
There’s a video out here with herzog himself on angler west channel. No better way to learn but the man himself!

Always enjoy Bill!
The carrot knot! It's super easy to tie and it goes thru the guides super smoothe. Simular to a a fg knot

Jordan why don’t you do a hiking, kayaking, or endurance challenge soon. My favorite video is the whitewater kayaking you did an hundred years ago.

Jordan have you told the story on Little? How you got him,how long?
Nice twitchy day
Nice 👍🏾.
What ceiling rod holder is that ?
Where do I get those twitching jigs and where do I get a pair of those snazzy shorts??
whats best hook size for these?
Hay that's awesome video, wondering what river you guys fishing on?
Looks like the tieton river.
I think them fish would eat anything, any method, try steel lake in Federal Way , try angle lake in SeaTac sees how many they catch with their fishing expert
What rod and reel are they using?
Looks like Jordan is using an Okuma Celilo 7’6” rod with an Okuma Ceymar C-30 reel. Bill is using a gloomis gcx 9000 rod, unsure of the reel.
More bluegrass!
Where can I buy some of those jigs
what’s the rod holder in the back of the truck?
HEY HEY HEY!!!!!
Yall ever try running a sculpin under a float? I'm tempted to try it out next time one eats my eggs

Just bought bill's book on drift fishing and looking for a decent price copy oh his spoon fishing book currently. Awesome technique and video.
They spend 5 minutes talking about jigs, camera person pans down for 1 second. LOL. But I still appreciate the videos a lot.
