Remarkable people, the Polins. So much grace and eloquence during such horrific circumstances. Praying for this nightmare to end. Not everyone in the US is in support of terrorists.
I’ve been following Hersh’s story and his family’s impressive attempts to get the hostages released. This was a fantastic in/depth interview. My heart goes out to them and every family who has a loved one in Gaza. I wake up every day and think about them.
Despite the horror you both are going through, you both articulate so well what happened, your thoughts, etc. I don't know how. I am in awe of both of you. I pray that you get your son back. That these monsters are held accountable for what they've done. That you can start to heal as a family. Our hearts break with yours. I wish there was something. Anything more I can do to alleviate this suffering. May G-d keep giving you strength to carry on and for harmony and stability to rerurn to your lives.

I so totally agree with your views of Israel reacting to being attacked! It breaks my heart that some feel we should stand by and do nothing. It is so correct if it happened in America we would protect our own and our country.
What about the Palestinian people? Do they not also have the right to struggle and legitimate resistance in order to obtain their freedom and independence from this entity that practices occupation, oppression, settlement, land confiscation, ethnic discrimination, and apartheid?!
Doesn’t this Palestinian people, who have been oppressed for more than 75 years, have the right to self-determination like other peoples of the world?! Or are they just human animals, as members of Netanyahu's far-right government describe them?!!

I am so sorry that the participants with power and observers around the world, as well, seem to have turned their attention away from concern for the safety of the hostages. Your strength in the face of this trauma, your ability to discuss your experiences and thoughts., your compassion for the Gazan non-terrorist Palestinians... I can just say yasher koach. I pray that you and the other hostages' families are reunited as soon as possible with your family members. The victims are all in my prayers. I hope that I have expressed my thoughts and support for you in a way that isn't hurtful. I hope your interview is seen by many, many more people. I agree completely with your conclusions. 😢I've been so captivated by Hersch's story & v impressed by his parents' tenacity & emotional intelligence. When this horrible genocide is over, I hope U will write a book; I've also been touched by a Palestinian girl, Nadya 23 lost her arm & leg, whole family killed by rampant IdF in a tent with no medication or food. Lost all hope. THE FINAL SOLUTION is Rafah. U need 2 understand WHY 7oct happened; 75yrs of suffocating occupation. Gaza is an open air concentration camp. This needs to be changed. Justice brings peace of 2-state solution, self-determination of Palestinians. I'm in awe of steadfastnes, grace & acceptance of Muslims. Jews & Arabs r both semites.
