It takes a F ton of money these days. It's ridiculous! You could buy these square bodies and older OBS's years ago for a couple thousand.... I got my 95' OBS for $2000. Now peope are asking $10,000's. It's crazy.
Hey bud, I know this is an older video and you do things differently now. Huge congrats btw on the new shop. For anyone who doesn’t know you can get great results using this same dye but spraying it with a cheap siphon feed harbor freight Lvlp gun using even a pancake compressor. Hope it helps someone!
Just going back through some older videos. Those wheels look sharp. I've done the rit dye on a couple different cars, one thing I've found is when you mix it with hot water, it seems to help the carpet "hold" the color a little better. Still massive transformation from where this truck started.
That spray dye came out great. It really looks good. I tried using carpet dye back in the 1980s on my VW. I ordered it from J. C. Whitney mail order catalog. It was dark brown, to cover existing stains, and it came out in streaks, smears, and splashes. Not a good combination in brown.... 💩
Looks good but I would have left the stock spindles on it, so you didn't have to cut the control arms, take the wheel pans out etc. I realize I am way behind times on this video....🤣🤣🤣
I guess the next time do the drip spindles and leave the coil springs alone . Had you not cut a ring and half off, your drop would have been perfect and retained a softer ride….
Hey Josh..when you cut the springs on the front. Did they sit well in the control arm spring perch? I have to cut my new springs on my 67 Bel air looks like a gassed. I noticed if I cut them only 2in of spring or so will even touch the lower perch. I can heat and bend it slightly to make it sit like the factory...ps.remind the keyboard warriors this is your channel and vehicles. Keep doing what your doing..
I'm a huge square body fan, even though these aren't that old the margin for profit is well worth picking up more of these. The price for a decent square body has sky rocketed.
I'm killing time watching yer older videos, 2 years ago the kids were just little'ns and seen less often 😢 you look a lot younger annnd!😅 Casings are tires & hoops are wheels 😂. Still the older videos were informative, just less lively & family oriented. 🎉 I like what you're doing nowadays 🎃happy 👻 Halloween!
I was hoping you would clean the rust off and paint the bonnet of the truck, and the other tiny bits of rust here and there, and it would have looked totally awesome!
THAT TRUCK LOOKS BAD ASS WITH THOSE NEW WHEELS!!!! I LIKE THAT TYPE OF SILVERADO TRUCK!!! THATS BAC WEN A TRUCK WAS A TRUCK!!!! HATE THE NEW STYLE TRUCKS!!!!!
That is my favorite truck. U did just what I would do to it. Looks amazing. Wheels are the best looking for old school trucks like that. Great job sir 😊
Awesome 👍
Thanks 🤗
Don't take much to have a fun hotrod square body.
Great video for us backyard guys💪✅️
Thank you

I’ve been watching your channel for over a year. Tonight this one popped up 😂
That’s awesome
Clean truck.
Those torque thrust rims are my favorite. They literally make any vehicle look sweet.
I completely agree
First time I heard Josh say the cuss word (tires) 😂
Carpet die is a winner if it stays put. I would have done it differently but still looks way better.

That’s true

Cut straw off on a angle. on spray bottle then it'll work up side down
You should have pulled that carpet out and power washed it before dying it. I have been amazed how clean they come. Soap and water doesn't cost much.
Good idea
@@Sleeperdude a little surprised you didn’t pull out the front seat first.
Still have those factory wheels?
No I sold them sorry
@@Sleeperdude dang. I really just need a center cap for our suburban. Enjoy the videos. We have been binge watching them.
