Thank you so much for the support. Glad to know you enjoyed it! For the claws, they are bone claws. We just had them sharper cause we didn’t like the look of them in the movie and comics. Looked too much like branches. And for the scars not healing perfectly, it’s just to make him a bit more human, less untouchable. But I can understand if it bothers you :) Thank you again for the video. It was awesome to see you watch the film 💪
Honestly you guys did a fantabulous job in creating this! Please don’t think I was disappointed. A few nit picks here and there but it’s still perfection. Hope your fan film reaches amazing heights! Keep doing what you’re doing and keep creating masterpieces like these please!
holy shit, holy shit, the quality of the fan film is just insane. if there's a chance to make the Logan fan film into a series I would donate for that to happen
Very well choreographed and the cinematography shots through the fight scenes is next level. Like how he mentioned Fenrir the wolf who is actually one of Loki's children which ties into norse mythology. Hope to see a part 2.
these are clearly bone-claws. and why not have a logan who heals but gets scars? this is what wolverine was meant to be when he popped up in 1975 (i was there) not tall, not handsome, not holding back, feral.
I’m not saying anything against his look and all. The claws felt like metal on my initial watch until the creator told me in the comments below that they were bone which is completely fine. It’s just that without knowing that you’ll feel like that they are metal since the design doesn’t look like bone. As far as scars go it’s fine to make him more human but he is a younger Wolverine in this one so his would naturally heal from my understanding of the character. My small nit picks don’t take anything away from the film because I think it is still a masterclass of a fan film!
The claws caught me off gaurd also. I think they are bone claws becuase they were easily cut off and then grew back. They just dont have the original look.
@@TJ.Turner Well they grew back? Wtf is that question suppose to mean? They just did. Don't tell me you think it's illogical when you have Colosus a man made of metal who can heal wounds.
@@Tairakrakan6372 Wrong, they are bone. I asked the director on his channel and he confirmed it. He just made them look like the metal ones because he liked the shape better. Edit: I just saw the director replied to this video and adressed the question - he once again confirmed they are bone.
The creator did mention that it was a creative decision to have some scars to make him more human. But comic book wise I thought his healing factor activated from a pretty young age.
I was actually referring to the obi wan and earth wader from New Hope. There is a fan film that re did the whole fight. I’ll probably react to it soon too!
Dude the creator literally commented on this video that they were bone claws. They just didn't like the jagged look of the movies and comics and decided to go with a more sharper look
@@jeffn4836they didn’t wimp out. Just didn’t like the bone look so they went with this. It’s a variant so differences are completely fine in my opinion.
I liked it, but they should've stayed with the bone claws because he wouldn't have been born with the metal claws. There's no way to explain that given the time period.
So these are basically bone claws. The creator mentioned in the comments below. They just didn’t like the design of the bone claws from the comics so stuck with this metallic looking design but they’re basically bone claws.
@user-dk7mc1yh2e I didn't know what the director said because I haven't heard him. They look and sound metal in the film. So I assumed they were. His bone claws in the comics didn't curve like that at the ends. Not the ones I read anyways.
@@jimmywatson468 Also naturally when you look at the design without knowing one would think that they are metal. So naturally I assumed they were metal.
Same sentiments as everyone else in the comments. It’s a variant. And the great thing about variants is that you can play around with their stories and looks and all. In that regard this was perfection in my book!
@arkez35 This "multiverse" nonsense was always lame. Just a cheap excuse for writers to do what they want to the characters with no consequences. We've got enough of that crap from Hollywood lately. Don't need fans to start doing this it.
@@TheN1ghtwalker 🤣🤦 Butthurt much? The multiverse, variants and different takes and settings were a thing in the comics for DECADES. Besides, this is a fan project. They can do whatever the fuck they want.

This fan film took me by total surprise. It’s so incredible.
This was. Absolutely amazing

I do hope they continue this into a part 2 for sure. It’d be great to see other mutants join.

this is definitely going to influence the next MCU wolverine
Hope so. Or even better give the creators of this fan film a chance to direct a whole Wolverine movie.
The claws caught me off gaurd also. I think they are bone claws becuase they were easily cut off and then grew back. They just dont have the original look.
They aren't, they are metal, and they weren't cut off look closely, he riped them out of his arms to get free.

@@Luggi83 Ah ok, it also makes sense.
This was so amazing! Sign me up!!!
Those were bone claws, the creators didn't like the look of bone claws, so they did them like that. That's why they was able to cut the claws..
Yup the creator's comment is pinned and they mentioned that to me.
To respond to you wondering about his scars it would depend if he got them before or after his healing factor appeared.
The creator did mention that it was a creative decision to have some scars to make him more human. But comic book wise I thought his healing factor activated from a pretty young age.
had to be redone bone claws
They decided to change the look of the claws. But they are bone claws.
Bro acrually said Obi Wan and Dart Wader 😭😭😭

How did a Viking get is skeleton coated in metal? Shouldn’t they be bone claws? Kinda silly. The metal isn’t a part of his mutation …
Dude the creator literally commented on this video that they were bone claws. They just didn't like the jagged look of the movies and comics and decided to go with a more sharper look
That’s what I thought originally too but the creator said they just went for a different look. So they are not really metal but look it.
@@AKSyed so they took the cool spear it the bone claws (the primal look) and wimped out?

This ain't even Wolverine lol. Just some oc with similar powers.
By now you should know the concept of variants.
It's called a multiverse for a reason. And this is more in line with "What If...." stories. So yes, it's Logan, just a different version of him.
