They really went out of their way not only to make a whole assortment of unique new enemies and enemy variants, but also brought back every single previous enemy type, some of which we havent even seen since Pikmin 1.
Also I'd vibe with Groovy Long Legs all night.

I have one question that I just can't get rid of.
If Bulborb identifies the same species with a speckle pattern, why is the dwarf Bulborb without spots considered an enemy?
Hmmm that’s a good question , my guess is that bulborbs cannibalize each other
So Dwarf and Larvae Bulborbs Have 0 spots But a Brown mark on their back. As they grow, They make their own spots. When they are matured, They grow more spots until That mark on the back turns into a spot and when it’s a fully grown Bulborb. That’s just a theory though.
The spotted dwarf bulborbs are actually breadbugs that have evolved to mimic bulborbs so they can hunt in packs with the adult red bulborb. The dwarfs without spots are the true offspring
Bulborbs are opportunistic cannibals. That's why the pale baby bulborbs hide during the day.
Because that’s a mimic, fooling the bulborb into thinking it’s just an adolescence, the ones without spots are the real ones. The stage before they gain spots and because of them not having spots yet, they are preyed on. I feel like they could’ve done something more unique with a real bulborb dwarf, like not being able to be crushed but it’s just a more durable dwarf.

I'm glad there are new varieties, but one part I think they are sorely missing is the variety of empress bulblax. I would have loved to see a orange version which rolls around a lot more frequently and for a lot longer. Or other variants as well for the other types of bulborbs. Or maybe a giant bread bug version of it that basically just looks like a baguette.

It would be called bagguetinsect, it would be able to swallow three small treasures that it doesn’t have to drag, it would drop one of these each time it is hit against the ship, it would require over 50 pikmin to drag it and would have to be hit 4 times to win, a much harder breadbug variant.

I really love this all about the every creature including the pikmin I love how it includes everything instead of part 2 of pikmin where is separated here all in one so I like it a lot this is better to plus I love how must enemies are back from pikmin 1 through 3 all in pikmin 4 this game is definitely one of the best!

I feel like two areas with four caves each would be a pretty sizeable DLC. A full on snow area based around blizzard so you have to be careful about shivering Pikmin, and maybe a swamp area that can fit a lot of the old bosses and the old lily pads from 3?

Update 1:I've gotten platinum medals on all the challenges and battles, al thats left are the sage leaf trials.

It’s weird that the Dwarf Bulborb and Orange Dwarf Bulborb are in the Breadbug family
They do mimicry , that’s a common phenomenon in nature. Certain species of King Snake do it with Coral Snake to deter predators
My Top 7 enemies (probably controversial):
7: Crusted Rumpups
It’s only here because it’s cute to me.
6: Frosty Bulborbs
The idea of a sister/brother to the Fiery Bulblax is a genius concept to me. They’re so cool and unique to kill.
5: Dweevils
They are an interesting creature. I think of them as miniature Arachnorbs that steal treasure. Plus, they can attack Pikmin using element based attacks. I love them.
4: Skutterchucks (if that’s how you spell it)
This is where the list gets controversial to some. The only reason they are so high is that they throw glass at the captain and Oatchi. Plus, they sometimes carry bomb rocks.
3: Waterwraith
One of the spookiest enemies in the franchise. It rolls over your squad without a care. It’s terrifying and perfect to fit in a kid game. It’s scary, but not too scary.
2: Breadbugs/ Giant Breadbugs
I placed them in the same spot due to them being heavily similar. Anyway, Breadbugs are the epitome of adorable and fun enemies in video games. They don’t kill Pikmin, and they only steal treasure. It’s a unique mechanic.
1: Groovy Long Legs
Should I even explain this one. It’s an insane creature. Not only is it fun and challenging, but it also plays an epic custom battle theme. It also forces Pikmin to dance during the fight. This was an easy 1st place for the enemies I’ve fought so far.
If you’re wondering why enemies from Giant’s Hearth and Primordial Thicket aren’t here, it’s because I haven’t made it to this areas yet. Ok!?
Fun fact: jumbo bulborbs are the size of pikmin 1 bulborbs, so that means Olimar's been fighting jumbo bulborbs since 2001
If you just pick up two images of them side-by-side, I think you can see that they’re not the same size.

It was introduced in 3, if a grub dog eats too much (unless it’s a Boss, which it won’t have it) it will burp giving you a second to run. I did some testing and every grub dog that similar to the standard one has a burping animation (fiery and bulbear included) i’m willing to assume the standard ones also had burping animations in 3.

The only difference between a volatile dweevil and a dweevil carrying a bomb is that volatile dweevils won't drop bodies while dweevils carrying bombs will.

Me encanta la piklopedia, pero me decepcionó un poco qué algunos enemigos "nuevos" solo sean una versión más grande de otros. Cuando se filtro la lista de la piklopedia, me emocionó leer Sovereign bulblax y no dejaba de imaginar su aspecto. Fuera de eso, los nuevos enemigos me fascinan
Me hubiera gustado que fueran un nuevo diseño aunque fueran versiones gigantes de los enemigos. El sovereign bulblax va bien por el canon
