Jaipur is one of my favorites i keep 2 bottles and normally i don't buy a fragrance twice....its definitely one those fragrances that leaves a scent trail.....it's spicy yet fresh. I love it

Z-14: classic I call "Leather n' Lemons": smells a bit like Lemon Pledge, but I totally dig it anyway. The Dreamer: a fave. Phoenix Accoutrements "Tombstone" is an all natural version of it. Waiting for a shout out to "Preferred Stock": Drakkar's skankier cousin, a fave. Great vid!

I love Halston Z-14! It is a classic. I used to wear this back in the 80's. It seems to "activate" on my skin when I prespire. Maybe it's just me but that's how it reacts on my skin! I don't get a lot of compliments on this one (maybe because it is "dated" by today's standards) but it is sentimental and makes me happy when I smell it! That's all that matters, yes?! The Issey Miyake (the original leau d'Issey) is my wife's favorite...it got me her number and her complete attention when I first met her. Needles to say, I have 2 bottles of this one! This one is my favorite! It seems women still really like it! But what counts is that my wife loves it on me! Thanks for this review! Will have to try some of the other ones you mentioned!

I liked Sauvage the first time I smelled it but by the time I got to smell it a third time I hated it... mostly because too many people were wearing it so got tiered of it quick.
Great flow in this video! Angel men reformulations have helped with that initial blast of tar. Took me a while to really appreciate that scent. I picked up a refill bottle for cheap and I'll blend it with Pure Havane or Pure Malt. And it's just fine on its own
I don't like the "smoke" note at ALL in some recent flankers like l'eau super majeure... Get l'eau intense it has an incense note that smells MUCH better imo

90% of them are not beast mode at all, there are so many other cheapies that are really better in terms of projection sillage etc. like shaghaf oud, shaghaf oud abyad (both by swiss arabian), rasasi fattan pour homme, lattafa raghba wood intense, afnan 9pm, rasasi shuhrah, armaf shades wood, davidoff cool water intense and so on, but jacques bogart is really a great performer i have to give you that
Although it's a beautiful scent, I get horribly weak performance from Encre Noire. It's basically a skin scent from the get go, for about 5 hours. And that's if I lay it on super thick. Do you really get strong performance from it?
You might be nose blind to ISO-E super. Pretty sure it's loaded with that... I (and many others) can only rarely smell ISO-E, but many people can find it very overwhelmingly strong... so be careful

Chrome Legend also a BEAST of a performer, perhaps more so than the original. Don't care for the smell myself, but just like Bogart PH, at least your get your money's worth.
Azzaro Chrome was reformulated into a very weak scent several years ago by Clarins. Let's hope L'Oreal strengthens it. As for Chrome Legend, it was discontinued nearly a decade ago and Azzaro reps told me they have no idea where the bottles are coming from. No authorized retailer sells it and it hasn't been on their website in years. I bought the later bottle that came out last year without the distinctive cap and the only conclusion is that most of the bottles issued for the last half decade must be counterfeit. What's the batch code of your bottle of Azzaro Chrome Legend?

Has anyone noticed the huge difference in performance between the Mugler A*Men and the Thierry Mugler A*Men?? The first 2 ingredients are switched in the 2 formulas. The Thierry Mugler version starts with 1. Perfume Oil 2. Water....The Mugler version starts 1. Water 2. Perfume Oil....Is the difference in performance really that simple?

Encre Noire is definitely a dark, woody earthy scent. I wasn't crazy about it at first, but I love it now. It was $27 I consider well spent.

The dreamer is amazing, but for me it's not so beast mode and I feel it's more of a summer fragrance XD

What's the batch date of your bottle of Chrome. My 2017 bottle is very weak which is also said in quite a bit of recent Fragrantica reviews.

Super majeur is beastmode modern scent, pick this up if u kinda bored with Sauvage etc.

Hunter is great, I blind bought it. Buy it, unless you already own any of those blue fragrances such as Sauvage, Dylan Blue or Invictus Aqua.
Club de nuit intense is ahhhhmazing. A show stopper. Highly recommend.
