Cheers for the video. I know the jack will have a margin of error but you cut it a little fine with the weight limit?
My bad, I assumed 3500 in the model number was 3500lb as they're American.
These are only for small, (ish), cars though. Anything around E-Class size, probably need top look elsewhere to to jack pint spread.

They are 3.5t so can take most weight, they do an extension so you can put longer cars on

@@leedfollow Yeah maybe. For me though when I’m doing stuff like that I don’t really want to use ‘add ones’. That applies even if those add ones are made to go with the product.
For example I’d use only one block and not two and of course no extensions. A little OCD maybe.

You might have them backwards. Quickjack specifies which end of the lift is supposed to support the most weight (engine). Don’t know if your instructions say that.

Cheers for the message, doesn't mention it in my instructions that I noticed, all my cars have pretty close or bang on 50 50 weight distribution so I'm not overly concerned but if I lift anything with not as even distribution I will keep this in mind!

Nice! I might need a set of these. Wonder if I can source them here.

They are brilliant, I was taking spacers of my z and so much quicker than jacking up each corner as well as safer!

Roughly how far forward (fron where car originally parked) does it push the car once raised?

      It's just under a foot I'd guess

I'm in the UK and considering Quickjack or these, as I need to be able to clear the garage between uses for other things. Any regrets or advise now you're a few months post purchase?

I think the fit and finish may be slightly better on quickjacks but these work just as well and you get much better customer support with these, I'd happily recommend them and would buy again

You need a bigger garage mate.even a poly tunel

I know it's torture in there, but better than nothing. Luckily I have barns if needed, I keep looking at Clarke's mobile garages but getting that post the wife is tricky!

Hi, looking to buy a set, do you know the differences between 2500 and the 3500? Bigger rams or just physically bigger/longer? Cheers

    • @leedfollow
      @leedfollow  4 месяца назад

Sorry I don't know, personally if you can go for the 3500, chances are you won't be anywhere near the weight limit of 2500 but it's nice to know you have a nice margin to play with

Cheers, emailed them and the differance is the rams are slightly different and the system uses hydraulic 32 oil over a lighter oil. Only niggle... I have discovered the postage is nearly £100 once the vat is added...kind of expensive as I deal with couriers often. I know they are heavy but you'd think for over a grand they would send them free. I was really ready to buy but the postage has removed my finger from the pay now button. Still thinking!!!
