Unforgettable Tony Hart. Part of my childhood. Always looked forward to his programmes.
This man was a national treasure. I always watched his programmes, and loved his gentle, non patronising, and very kind character. He is still sadly missed, but always remembered fondly!
Looking back he made my child hood special, so many fond memories watching his TV programmes and everyone from my generation feels the same 😊
Tony Hart - a brilliant, wonderful English man. Such a positive person.
Sorry to hear about Tony Hart passing away in 2009.
I used to watch him when i was a kud.
R.i.p tony.
I never got to meet you mate but God Bless you and your family.
I loved watching 'Vision On' as a kid in the '70s; it was so visually creative! The lightbox drawings were a brilliant way of showing the drawing in process without the artist's hand getting in the way.
I saw him on the London Underground once while coming back from a school trip. He was quietly standing when a whole class of junior school kids got on his carriage. I saw him do a slight "oh no", just before I said, "That's Tony Hart!" and he was mobbed. Lovely man.
Tony Hart was a shining beacon of pure joy!
We still make faces on our eggies too.
RIP loved this guy as a kid.
I watched this show all the time when I was younger back in the day where I lived in Melbourne Australia. So many happy memories. God bless you Mr heart for helping me to find happiness In art.
