Up until this day, I still think 2NE1 is THE best kpop female group out their. They're all so unique. All of the other female group are so artificial and generic but 2NE1 is on a whole other level. LOVE YOU 2NE1 :)

Hands down the best 2NE1 era. Can't nobody convince me otherwise. This is such a beautiful performance, I love their individuality but how they compliment each other at the same time. This video reminds me of why I became a Blackjack all those years ago.

I don't think Dara's singing voice is bad at all. It's so light and soothing. ^^
I do agree with you that Minzy is the best singer in the group and Dara doesn't have a nice range, but there's always going to be that person in the group who's vocals aren't as good as the others. Dara is probably the person out of the 4, but people make It sound like her voice is horrifying.
***** In my OpinioN, that fact ( About Dara ) make them the best group ( for me ) because if there are 3 vocal that is strong so at least there should be 1 vocal should be soothing and light to balance their ( .. performance ?? ) I don't know what it called . +Jong H who said she has limited range ???? She has 2 octave range: F3~E5/ F#5( including falsetto) ; she has the best falsetto register in the group . She's not a very bad vocalist like you said; it's just she has to practice very hard to develop a "vocalist" voice, her voice is a little bit flat and lacking every aspects of the vocal tenique
Dara may not have the powerful voice that the 3 have but for me when it comes to sweetness and angelic voice she's the most powerful
+ALWAYSOT12 EXO it would be boring if all have the same capacity..for a good music you need some variety in tones..Like BigBang..TOP's voice is so different from the rest-low, G-D is high, Taeyang has the pop voice and Daesung has the cool voice which is very nice for easy listening music. It up to how they can harmonize their voice..
+ALWAYSOT12 EXO Dara does most of the background harmonizing. When you hear their recordings, her voice is always layered to the other 3. It sounds so ridiculously good.

to me, Dara gives that sweet quiet break to every 2ne1 song... All of the girls have very unique voices, but the other three all have very powerful voices, not that it's a bad thing, but i imagine without Dara's sweet voice with the mix, it may get too overwhelming.
Her thin, angelic voice is such a great counter-balance to the others powerful voices.
Dara is actually the one with the "K pop" voice in this band. Reminds me of SES sort of thing :) This is such an amazing band and I am big fan of that guitar player now

What exactly is your problem with Dara unnie‘s voice? It‘s so smooth and soothing to the ear. One group with 3 powerful voice can‘t go without that one smooth voice. Don‘t ever underestimate Dara!

This "performance" is the perfect representation of why dara is the sweet vocal of 2ne1. The 3 had amazingly perfect strong voice and it would be overwhelming that's why dara's perfectly sweet voice is needed. :) think about it, I haven't heard any kpop artist who has the same sweet voice as dara's. that's why every member is indeed special and they are all awesome :)

@@kit33389 Lmao, showed this to my brother who's a classical musician and asked if that girl is off tune and if her tempo is a mess. Guess what he said? She may be a decent vocalist but her tune and tempo is not off or all over the place plus she said that picking her (she didn't know that they were a group) to sing with the 2 powerful vocalist (minzy and cl) is a good choice because she's keeping the song not too powerful or calm for the song since the song is not supposed to be powerful and the other girl (Bom) is a good choice too because she's keeping the emotions balance since her voice is very good and very emotional (vocal tone/color) and that's making this acoustic version very balance with Powerful-Emotions-Calm. So try harder next time when you're trained and knew more about music.

2020, and i'm still here. I feel so much nostalgia whenever i hear this song. I can't explain but 2ne1 have been a huge part of my existence. When i was a teenager, i listen to them when i'm happy, when i'm sad, especially when there's a lot going on with my family. They've been my coping mechanism. I listen to them when i feel discouraged, i listen to them when i want to have confidence. It really breaks my heart whenever i remember that they're already disbanded. There's nothing more i could wish for but for them to be reunited again. Even just one more song

To be honest I think they're all really good. I don't know shit about singing, but they sound awesome, they're all very nice girls and good dancers. Bom has such an original voice, Dara, while perhaps being the weakest in terms of singing talent, adds a great light feel to their songs, and CL is of course a brilliant rapper, singer and dancer. Minzy, however - the girl is consistently amazing live and she's a fabulous dancer. I'm hella surprised that she doesn't have a solo album yet.

Honestly 2ne1's voices in their MV's and lives are just the same. You can tell that it's them. It's really their voice. Maybe they don't need too much auto-tuned.

These women sound so wonderful together. Each had their own unique sound, and together they were magic. Apart they’re still great, and no other female group can rep,ace their sound, or their awesome stage presence and charisma. Even stripped down to simple accompaniment and their voices, they’re fabulous. Legendary and untouchable-that’s 2NE1.
I came back here because I remember I used to listen to this songs during my school year before sleep (because I have no friends and I'm sad of how lonely I am) then last night as I can sleep I remember this songs and humming into it.
Dara may not have powerful range of voice but in terms of playing the listener's emotion, she's indeed having powerful voice ❤️
