A big big salute to you. Pouring these and coloring them is difficult and if you are not linear, mind boggling. So there you go, hand tremor and color blind making them fabulous.
I made a set of majong tiles. It was a lot of work but they are wonderful. Now i use the mold to make jewelry. You are the first person i have seen make a set. Nicely done!
those look really good! I'd wonder if a wooden stir stick would be okay for the mold when rubbing it in there to remove bubbles, but the pieces turned out quite well it looks like, no scratch marks on them or anything that I saw.
Off question or a proposal for your epoxy colour experiment Have you tried Holi powder for colouring? Seen it is coloured potato starch then dried and made to powder 😄 And could you Maybe make your own pigment powder if u took like a tone paste for normal paint and mixed it with like potato starch or Another easy absorbing powder and then dried in a dehydrater to powder?
Wow I really love what you have done with that set. Just a question. Can you paint a layer of clear resin over the top of the print or will it smudge off?
This is out another vedio, on rings. If you want a bigger ring size, take them out when they are still a it bendy. Then put it on a ring mandle. They can be stretch to any size. Leave them on the mandrel till they gethard.
Thank you for this video! My question is how do you make the die/dice? I have this mold set (mine is the "clear" mold) and I can not for the life of me figure out how to make the dice. I am completely mind boggled by them 😅
I wanted to come back and leave another comment on my mold and to see if yours has the same issue as mine, indeed it does! I was very sad to noticed that one of the tiles has a duplicate and that there is a missing tile from the set. It's unfortunate but I have found a way around the missing tile. I made a set of 4 (of from both molds) and I will then backfill the duplicate tile, cut the "missing" symbols from vinyl on my scan n cut, then apply a thin layer of clear resin over it to seal it on. I hope this helps you with completing your set! ❤

They turned out great, like you said a big task but I am sure your son will love and cherish them, as they were handmade by you.❤😊
I have this mold set. I have found that painting the raised characters with acrylic paint (one of your tips) works wonderfully 😀
I was curious how they came out finished. I bet your son appreciates you doing this for him. Very cool! ❤

Those look fantastic Steve! But man, they are THICK! Great job on the even pour. I know I couldn't do it! 😅
Will you pour a layer of resin on the front once you’ve finished coloring them?
This is great! Has your son played with them? How have they held up a year later?
I use the mold for chocolates/jello shots

Such a beautiful and tedious job
Very cool!!
Hi Steve, how do you think a small fluffy toy would look embedded in resin? Would it look like a drowned rat or would it retain it's fluffiness?
Is that a complete official set? Would majhong players like to use them?
Something like this isn't something everyone will make and sell at events because it's so unique however online it'll sell well
Cool
