Fun Fact: The Chosen One actually ran the gauntlet 3 times; Winter missed the 2nd time because the army was attacking at the time.
But no, The Chosen One waltzed through the streams of gunfire, dropped off his golden minerals at the soon-to-be-destroyed nexus, then walked back THROUGH the invading army, and went back to fulfil his destiny of gathering more golden minerals.
It was on his return from THAT run that Winter caught him and thought it was his 2nd time.
What's worse than a player who doesn't know what siege mode is? The player that loses to him

Ah, bronze... the only league where SC2 is actually a PvE game. The entire whooping 30 APM dedicated to tame this wild beast - their own base.

@@GoTimeGross Well, make probes and units. And use control groups. Nothing else needed and you get to plat. Could I recomend researching warpgate? Like... as soon as possible?
@@CZProtton thanks I've done most of that and but still in gold.. I still use all army like crazy lol coming from starcraft in like 2000 something there was no worpgate so I didnt understand the concept... now I know its mandatory. Thanks for taking the time to comment to me. I'm still out there playing

I had to stop watching when the medivacs were *accidentally* filled with units and taken out by what should have been easily dispatched phoenixes, because I was laughing so hard I could no longer breathe
This is literally the most impressive SMPM (Siege modes per minute) I have ever seen!
That first attack, an A-move and then afk would have just outright won the game.
This match in a nutshell, because future genetations don't deserve to go through the same pain as we did:
-no rush 11 minutes
-terran wall filled with gaps
-tech lab too far away to do anything
-endgame warp gate, like our bw ancestors commanded
-terran focus firing on literally everything
-dysfunctional siege tanks with no siege mode
-battle SCV's
-unplugged forge researching shields for 20 minutes
-not rebuilding the natural until 40~ minutes in
-carrier & mothership core just chillin' for the entire game
-our hero probius, long distance mining through the enemy army unseen
-terran mining one mineral field with 40 workers, and protoss mining several fields with 5 probes each.
-probius slips some tea while watching his companions work
-30 minute long wack a mole
-terran gets the victory through diplomacy
-zar zim zer
these 2 are wonderful! I get why Winter has put this replay in the top 25

My favourite part is the tank turrets swiveling to follow it as it goes past. You can almost hear them going "oooooh, if I was A-moving instead of right-click moving you'd be so dead right now, I tell you what."
I didn't think it was possible to (try to) throw a game that hard.
I'm also amazed that despite his best efforts, Terran won anyway.
I watched Husky's BLH. I've watched all of Winter's BLH and Angry Coach. And yet I'm still amazed by just how bad players can be. And I suck, I think I topped out around Plat.
Plat is actually pretty good tho

@@xXMemelord Most players never get past bronze. The average casual player gets stomped a handful of times in bronze and decides pvp isn't for them.
@@bunklypeppz doubt. Bronze is the smallest league in the entire game. It's incredibly hard to end up in bronze.
Edit: besides maybe grandmaster. But it's a low percent.
@@xXMemelord That's because the vast majority of people who play ladder are not as casual as in most games. It's only 'hard' to end up in bronze if you are a somewhat experienced rts player when you start. Most people who just play through the campaign on normal or easy mode go into the ladder or unranked matches and quit after a couple matches.
That being said, the matchmaking has probably changed since I was in bronze, but I know at the start of the game, around 50% of the playerbase was in bronze; back then I was pretty much as bad or worse than most players we see in BLH-- I'm not great now but I'm a lot better that I was then.
Our Terran player teaching us that if you are new to Starcraft the best choice is to mutilate your mouse so that you can no longer right click

The first part, no idea, the protoss said it at the end of the game I think. The second part is because this game was painful to watch and I sat there watching it for 50min.

I've seen someone play SC2 and not even use hotkeys. Not even Shift.
Legend has it, the Chosen One is still long distance mining from that gold base till this day. Despite their best efforts Cyiande's men still have not fired a single shot in its general direction.

The probe walking past the entire Terran army unharmed followed by the Terran lifting tanks into the medivacs to keep them safe from two cannons made me laugh so hard it hurt.
The worst part is that they were probably both sweating heavily throughout all of this, having the most intense game of their lives.
They somehow both fucked up in their own very unique ways. Cyandie didn't expand while GoTime did, but GoTime had very few probes actually mining. GoTime build a lot of upgrades he didn't use while Cyandie built a lot of units he didn't use.

Terran moves out I am thinking - Holy crap he's ahead with 50 supply how's this gonna be a game, you cant possibly lose that many units to what the protoss has.

Terran player - You underestimated me.
Mass tank with no siege mode. Not properly connecting the tech lab. Wall full of holes. Accidentally loading half your army into medivacs and then allowing them to get picked off by a few phoenix. Blocking production structures with idle units. Floating 5 figures worth of resources. WINS THE GAME.

At about the 25 minute mark I wasn't sure how the game was only half over... until I saw that medivac micro... now I know why it kept going.

I am using the absolute fuck out of this.
Now this is a PERFECT example of bronce league heroes or to say - wood league. Its like the players play against them self in most possible ways. First terran losing by not attacking on move command while dying on choke. Dont use A key at all. Then i thought: ok, protos is better, he is making disruptors. But no, he stops build army, have huge amount of minerals and then not even fire with disruptor. Terran picking up marines in medivacs and then die from phoenixes. Terran dont know what is sieging tanks and protoss dont know to warp in units. I understand that you must start somewere, but if they have just play campaign they would learn more. And the funny thing is that they are having fun while playing. Ofcourse, i must mention epic scene of the chosen one :D
