@@KY-qy3kn 1. I re-read your comment and I guess you were referring to officers as in officers in the military. I thought you were talking about police. If you were referring to military officers, then I am not sure what context you are referring to. Are you talking about if they are participating in actual combat in a battle? If that's the case, then they get the same weapons as the soldiers they are in charge of. 2. It can happen just like a bird could drop a turd over a soldier in the middle of a battle, hit his eye blinding him, and cause him to misfire his weapon at a friendly. It's possible, but only in the most technical sense. However, it never happens. Why would it? Why would a soldier be walking around in a combat zone with no weapon, and more importantly, why would TWO soldiers be walking around with no weapons? If you're going to bring up the scenario of them running out of ammo, so what? Then they would use the butt of the gun if they didn't a knife on them. Anything is better than fighting HTH. It doesn't make sense to actually think there's a real possibility of two soldiers fighting HTH, and I've never, ever heard of it happening from any of the members of the military I've talked to. Like I said, they only teach that stuff primarily to toughen them up, not to make them badass HTH fighters like so many dunces think. Same thing with krav maga. It is not some system for HTH fighting, but one of the things the Israelis teach to their new recruits to toughen them up as well. It's the Isarel counterpart to the Marine's MCMAP. You are the one who is wrong by thinking militaries expect their soldiers to be able to competently fight hand to hand. They can't. They are terrible at it, and I know because I've trained with plenty and they don't know shit. 3. Now you're just backpedaling. Your original contention was that short hair was important because it could be a detriment in combat. I countered that by saying that's not the reason they do it since soldiers are never going to be in that situation where their hair can be grabbed. The hair standards are there purely for looks, just like with cops. They don't care if someone can grab your hair, otherwise they would make women cut their hair as short as the men. They care about how you look. If it was purely for combat, they wouldn't allow any soldier to have shaggy hair or beards like I mentioned. Stop trying to change your story. You're still wrong, just like you are about everything else you've said. 4. I know this because I've talked to former soldiers and I've seen pictures. I just told you there are pictures of this on the internet. There are plenty of pictures of soldiers out on deployment who have their helmets off, and some of them, maybe not all or even many, but some, look like they have let their hair/beards grow out past those clean cut standards they make boot camp and base soldiers have. Did you bother looking? Nope, because then you would see the evidence that proves you wrong. I never said anything about whether or not they had a razor either. You are lying about that. 5. I addressed your claim, where you tried to pretend only some soldiers are meant to engage in HTH, but special forces aren't. I countered this by saying NO soldiers of any kind whatsoever, regardless of their division, rank or position, are meant to fight HTH. Again, you originally claimed that they make men have short hair so their enemy doesn't grab it during a fight, which I pointed out is crap because there aren't such fights in modern warfare. I also pointed out that if that were the case, then they would make the women have the same hair standards, which they clearly don't. The short hair has nothing whatsoever anything to do with fighting. It is entirely for looks. They want soldiers to look a certain way. Get it? It's no different than having to be clean cut at a law firm. You've been refuted on every single one of your points (except maybe the first one since I might have misunderstood it and what you meant is ambiguous). Time to stop pretending you won when you are credulous enough to believe the military is worried about its soldiers' beards being grabbed while they leave their weapons at a base to go engage in MMA fights with the Taliban.
Dark pulled his high tech army apart. If Hero attacks he loses buildings faster and loses. If he defends Dark prepares his own defence. It was literally the perfect move at the perfect time. Also that robo snipe made it possible for ultras to run amok.
@@ddenozor The thing is he has to make a decision to attack or defend and organize his army as such. It seems he also realizes attacking isn't the best option, but he's very hesitant to commit to more defensive plan. We don't know how the game will turn out if he does, but at this level they simply can't afford being irresolute.
@@blazingswordchad3384 idk, some of the best monologues and betrayals. Stukov dugaulle, zeratul’s monologue to aldaris, ued and kerrigan, duran, mengsk’s devolution, mengsk duke, etc. Just a far more complex story than most sci fi let alone most video games in terms of complex topics, changing allegiances, and character development.
Tasteless: "storylines in RTS games suck" Also Tasteless: "I never really pay attention to the story" Well maybe you're the problem then? Story quality in SC2 fell off quite sharply compared to SC1 but it still wasn't like objectively awful. And the contrast was so stark because SC1 story was just absolutely brilliant. It definitely didn't feel like something geared mostly towards kids and teens and it definitely had depth, complexity and great characters. That take honestly made Tasteless look very bad.
Eh, not everyone has great taste in stories. (I will say that in LotV and HotS, it was objectively pretty bad). Can't expect too much out of them, its just not something they think about at all, they couldn't clearly remember much of it at all besides that Kerrigan rebelled against the Overmind.
2:09:30 I have played broodwar campaign many many years ago exactly one time and still remember the story better :p Zeratul destroyed the overminds "officers" so to speak, since they were normally immortal (they would just get reborn, when destroyed). Zeratul used his dark templar powers to kill them for good, but in doing so he mentally connected to the Overmind, who found out that way the location of Aiur, triggering the invasion. It was Tassadar, who blew up the Overmind at the end, using high and dark Templar energy. Now i am a bit more fuzzy with Kerrigan, since i didnt play SCII, but i think the Terrans tried to bring back an Overmind clone to control the zerg, which Kerrigan destroyed?
Some of the remaining zerg cerebrates (former "officers" of the Overmind) merged together to create another Overmind and the UED (United Earth Directorate) forces took control of it using stimpacks and ghosts. Kerrigan then kidnapped the protoss matriarch (Razshagal) in order to get Zeratul and his DTs to kill the new Overmind for her (since only DT energy could harm the Overmind or the cerebrates).
The entire Starcraft story is pure genius... I never understood why they never made a movie. IMHO it would have been a blockbuster. Why not a trilogy? The Protoss (First Born), the Zerg evolution, the Kerrighan story (my favourite) everything is beyond everything I have ever read or watched in my entire life. It is so complex. You can empathise with any of the races, including the Xel'Naga. Most uf us I think would empathise with Kerrighan, who becomes Xel'Naga in the end, but also with the Terran drama, a real human lesson about developing to self-destruction, with the Protoss tragic drama, with everything. This is an absolute masterpiece. It's better than the Avengers, the Justice League, the Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, you name it... It's just better. I don't get it...
@@mihairo83 Being better than mass-produced, lowest-common-demoninator pop culture isn't exactly too much of an accomplishment (besides LotR, which I disagree that its better than, even if I love SC1's story).
@blazingswordchad3384 sorry, I fail to follow your point. I don't think "demoninator" is a word. I can't understand its meaning. I don't think we can find it in the Urban Dictionary as well. What he said was absolutely right. Dark is notorious for terrible openings, just like how Hero is notorious for not terrible wall-offs. Watch how many games he gets supply blocked (I think usually around 66). What sets Dark apart and makes him a top-level Zerg aren't his mechanics or builds. What makes him so good is his defense/comeback abilities and killer instinct. Watch any Pig casts of him and he talks about this a lot. Same thing with Hero. @@thalanoth You clearly don't understand the more technical aspects of this game if you think Dark's early game and builds are solid. They aren't. I think he realized Dark could do this all day meanwhile he was hearing the warning for being out of resources far too often. He needed to get that expansion down to give his own time to get up. also might've seen that most of his stalkers were yellow or red health.
Fun to see overpowered protoss fighting agaisnt overpowered Zerg. If blizzard don't nerf this races or buff TERRAN, it will only be protoss and Zerg soon..

Dark's lings vs hero... a masterpiece
This Changed My Life.
Dark looks bad-ass with his mustache and goatee... Like a Bond villain.
I’m so loaded up right now!
her0's army in game 1 vs Dark was arguably more advantageous, but his passive indecision costed him the game
2:09:20 how dare you state! SC1 and BW story are great!
SC1's was, sure, but BW, eh....

Tasteless: "storylines in RTS games suck"
Also Tasteless: "I never really pay attention to the story"
Well maybe you're the problem then?
Tastless, name checks out
2:09:30
I have played broodwar campaign many many years ago exactly one time and still remember the story better :p
Zeratul destroyed the overminds "officers" so to speak, since they were normally immortal (they would just get reborn, when destroyed).
@@octav3k Ah thanks for correcting my SCII memories 🙂
So, basically IMHO, you are using words with no meaning.
This is a written environment and not everyone is English native (like myself), so maybe there is a point in your message which I fail to understand.
Maybe you wish to simplify the content and help us better understand.
Thank you.
Next round is going to be lit
Didn’t Tasadar kill the overmind? I think he crashed a magic a carrier into it while Raynor shot a nuke one two punch.
starcraft players and hand problems , a love story since 2010 .
"Post-youth" LOL 💀
Those Creator vs Dark games were so hard to watch. The observer REALLY needs to stay zoomed out as much as possible.
Im downloading this in 1080p so I can watch it on my new OLED TV instead of on this tiny laptop. It's gonna be a GEEK-O-RAMA! Might even have a shandy...
Gsl let's gooo!
crazy the finals have 3 Jin Air members
Dark hit state’s g spot at 2:49:50
I was wondering why the units were so fast... the video is sped up 2%, why?
@3:13:45 Uhhh creator looks a bit different xD
So uhh, what does microbial shroud do?
Audio screwed on all the match vods
I think video speed is set to 102% here, look how fast the units are moving.
Hero could've produced just one colossus and won the game.
Damn, dat last match, especially game 1!

Why does GSL not swap the players names so the colours and names match their positioning on the map? Just a q
StarCraft II is so good to watch 😊😊
State is definitely not post-youth. He looks like Vincent Adultman in his suit.
i blows my mind when the casters say the starcraft story isnt good. i cant tell if they are trolling half the time or not.
The english cast is not shown anymore?
First? Thank god audio is in sync lol
We gotta chill with the phrase “in the world” it’s losing it’s meaning if you spam it for literally every game that’s casted.

and no they don't know they will lose, they just overreact.
Wow so drg just hands dark the win even though he had more supply?
He was about to lose his hydra, lurker, ling, and viper tech, which at that point was his entire comp. Not to mention there was an easy retreat option for Dark. It was a fatal mistake to let that first nydus up while he was on the other side of the map
@@scottbruce7423 he could've at least tried to go for a base trade
@@AndrewGunner you’re not wrong, but i think he gg’d after he had moved his entire army halfway back across the map. He probably assumed it was too late and he made the wrong choice heading back

No campeona, muchos otros lo van superando y se va quedando.
Creator tiene más potencial, ni que decir de stats que va retomando nivel y es el digno representante de aiur.

1:03:34 wtf is State drunk? His entire cast has been off, and that remark right there is... what?? lol
Nothing he said there is wrong.
Dark is notoriously bad at early game lol. For someone typically considered top 2-3 zerg players in the world, he fumbles a lot in the early game
They both lack in basics, yet are elite players.
@kommisar. dark rocked the ravager bust before anyone. He rocked the quick droplord into base before anyone. He completely defined quick nydus into a build before anyone. His early game as always been top. On what planet is dark not known for not only his late game resilience but also his early game? He holds early game all in cheese constantly, in pro matches, literally worldwide. Yall smoking something wild
@@thalanoth You clearly don't understand the more technical aspects of this game if you think Dark's early game and builds are solid. They aren't. He frequently gets supply blocked or misses something. He's good, but not for the reasons you think he is. He has many glaring holes in his game. You're going to have to accept that just because someone is a pro, it doesn't mean they are lacking in certain areas of their profession. Again, watch Pig's casts of him where he points all these things out.
Also, I specifically said in my last post that his defense is extremely good, so you apparently are lacking in the comprehension department as well. Maybe you're the one "smoking something wild" since you have trouble with this.
Zerg in SC2 is such a clown race lmao. Build 20 drones at the same time. Queens dont even cost gas and counter every type of harassment known to man. What a joke lmao
State's screeching is becoming very difficult to stomach.
I don't mind his takes, he is decent at breaking the game down, but that high pitch "BUT MOOOOOM I WANT THE CANDY BAAAAAR!" energy he brings.. I just can't dude.
I think he's been great, but people don't like him because his voice isn't deep.
That braindead blink forward in the last game tho
I think he realized Dark could do this all day meanwhile he was hearing the warning for being out of resources far too often. He needed to get that expansion down to give his own time to get up. also might've seen that most of his stalkers were yellow or red health.
No
Fun to see overpowered protoss fighting agaisnt overpowered Zerg. If blizzard don't nerf this races or buff TERRAN, it will only be protoss and Zerg soon..
How many terrans in R04? 😂
Yeah the death of zerg
