YES PLEASE. Omg when Maru whipped out speed mech, that was so exciting too watch! Too bad Cyclone got nerfed a bit overall, but maybe it's still possible in a Bo7. Mech seems pretty OK on these new maps. Though if Maru is confident in Bio then he won't switch for no reason.

I am so happy to see Stats tearing shit up - I love me some excellent defensive play! Even though I am a Terran player, I'd still love to see Stats go all the way this year.
So glad STATS is back! I started watching sc2 back in 2018/2019 season, and stats was the man for us playing protoss! What methodical play, what sound strategies - this guy has it all. Great games altogether.

For about a couple of years I switched to watching Brood War and SC2 just seemed bland and boring. Stats games today were the best! Really enjoyed watching the Stats I used to remember. That phenomenal defense is astounding! He really lived up to his reputation!
Can't wait til we actually get games on Post-Youth, that map is so weird it's going to produce some very unique games in the Bo5s/Bo7s where it's less likely to get banned.
Only Stats could play a defensive late-game macro game against Zerg. Every other Protoss dies to late game Zerg, but man... It's insane that he can keep those oracles alive as well for so long.
Words cannot describe how trilling it is to see the best defensive Protoss in history suddenly return to form, especially right now when Protoss is so weak.

Stats played well. Commentary was... enthusiastic but strategically poor, sorry. Super happy to see a Protoss go through again. But... Stats really took his time in that final game. Either being super conservative or not a super good read of who far ahead he was. Was a little painful to watch. Anyway see everyone in the Ro4 !!
I see a lot of people commenting that this is the best season of GSL in a long time. But with no Zerg in the Ro4 and it being nothing but mirror matches, I find it boring.
Had to scroll too far for this lol. Love seeing an older player come back to glory but god dam. It's like the other players didn't exist when stats was playing. Full analysis of everything stats does, predicting his future movements with decent accuracy, and then they see 12 lurkers and are like, oh Shin with a lurker swap! Like it hasn't been happening for three last 3 minutes lol
Obligatory Stop Zooming In comment The observer has GOT to stop staying zoomed in. It isn't cinematic, its annoying. Second game SHIN vs Stats was so hard to watch because they kept zooming in and not showing the whole encounter. Whatever they're trying to show us can be seen from ZOOMED OUT already.

Zerg is so underpower. Shin and dark are some of the best Zerg and they still lost to stats. Goodluck to Zerg now that Protoss have been buffed.

Hoping for a nice old Stats vs Maru finals. That was also one of the last matches I watched live in Seoul, I think in 2018.
