Gun Max Stay is a local-based accommodation run by the Gunmaek 1897 Cooperative, made by 146 residents of Manho-dong, Mokpo, and you can check in and enter the room through a pub on the first floor. After the operation of the store, there is a separate entrance door next to the building, so you can enter. Every Saturday, a beer festival called Toyaho is held at the dry seafood street in Manho-dong from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. I think it was held from April to August in 2002. I think we need to check the 2023 schedule before visiting. In Toyaho, you can enjoy cold draft beer for 10,000 won unlimitedly, and it is said that you can bring snacks or sell snacks prepared by merchants, so I think it will be good to enjoy them cheaply and abundantly. Also, you can win a variety of gifts through good prize events such as drinking beer quickly and talent shows, so it's going to kill two birds with one stone, right? It's a very personal opinion based on my own money, but I'll briefly summarize the actual feelings after staying in the room as pros and cons.
Weakness
1. There's no parking lot in the building. It's very close to the back of the building, but you have to park at the Manho-dong Happiness Support Center.
2. The room is very small. People who spend a lot of time in their rooms can feel uncomfortable.
3. The room and bathroom were cleaned well, but there was nothing prepared except bread, milk, and cereal, to the point where the words toaster management or American breakfast were overshadowed by whether several people took turns in the union. If you've used breakfast at other guest houses, you'll be disappointed. I have a personal wish to have yogurt or coffee mix for one person, even if it's not difficult to manage fruits or fried eggs. I'm just satisfied that I didn't come out on an empty stomach.
Strengths
1. There are many things to see and eat around. (Mokpo Port Car, Mokpo Children's Sea Science Museum, Samhakdo Park, Kim Dae-jung Nobel Peace Prize Memorial Hall, etc.)
2. The room and toilet are clean. (It wasn't a very cheap price, but the bedding, which I think is important, was comfortable, clean, and personal satisfaction was high.)
3. Two welcome draft beers and a basic serving of dry snacks (based on a double room when entering by 22 o'clock). Of course, I ordered more things as I ate, but the pub has a good atmosphere, the price of snacks is low, and draft beer is especially delicious.
4. Cool rooftop (There is a convenience store, a fish market, and a fish market that can be used on foot one minute away, so it can be used for many purposes such as dinner parties, breakfast, brunch, and cafes. The pub had a good atmosphere, but welcome draft beer and dry snacks are also available for take-out, so it would be good to use a rooftop.
