My headcanon is that post-liberator of rubicon ending, BAWS/Elcano ends up becoming the flagship corporation of a burgeoning military industrial complex on Rubicon as the RLF transitions from a guerilla force to a rank and file military organization.
Very informative video. I love it. I can see why the Rubicon Liberation Front has a heart on BAWS. They believe everyone, no matter what faction or government, should have mt's. What I am really looking for are normals.
I’d imagine that any corporation involved in such a scenario would be concerned about one thing in general: profit. As long as you have money, the world opens up to you, and that wouldn’t be any different on Rubicon. My guess is that BAWS did have many people who were sympathetic to the RLF since they shared the planet for a long time, but their number one goal was making sure they were in business and just found the Rubiconian sympathy angle as a way to appeal to Elcano getting involved along with straight cash. In a sense, everyone wins: The RLF sympathizers get their ally they need to help combat Arquebus and Balam, and BAWS gets to kick competition off the planet while also being friends with a next-gen AC part company. Note that the Houkushi generator was made with Elcano’s help. That means now BAWS has access to an ally who can help them develop next gen AC tech. If From Software create a direct sequel to this game like what happened with the fourth and fifth entries, I’d imagine BAWS will have some more high tech equipment in their arsenal during that time.
Sure i can get behind this thought, but i did want to explore the angle of them being possible sympathetic to Front's cause or maybe some home pride in the video. I like to think it added more meat to the bones of BAWS lore and opened up them more for discussions and thoughts. As for what come next well let's hope no another long sleep for ac while they decided what to do with it.

The truth is we never actually seen how muscle tracers work on the inside as such we theorise its somehow connected with a pilot muscles to mimic movement. In the tetrapods case and this is my wild guess that it works like crab legs do. So if the left leg muscles of the pilot move, in turn the craft crawls left. The same can be said with the right. For forwards and backwords it might be the case that both legs of the pilot have to move forward or backward causing all legs to have to move the same way or having to just boosters to move forward and backwards since crabs do really walk forwards or backwards. On the other hand it could be controlled by a control stick or two since the pilot has to work the weapons too if they are alone. If not then maybe a driver and a gunner?
@@murunbuchstanzangur It could well be well in the tetrapods case anyway. As old bishop mts we see back in ac1 and to be fair even here in ac6 now named Mt t 026 i am guessing would be able to controlled by a single pilot.

actually he's using Dafeng Parts, mixed with Poorly modifications of the Wrecker arms and Legs, and a gen 1 BAWs generator barely able to even lift him or move around the area for his melee lunges. added in to the fact that he's more high on Coral than any dosser on rubicon, he's essentially Killdozer in ACFA, kills anything, chases anything, and doesn't think about anything but stomping you. which in turn makes him unable to perform well against other pilots like little ziyi and Index who at least have better judgement than rummy does. but little Ziyi was too emotional as a fighter, and index wasn't an experienced fighter. but at least they arn't crackheads like rummy.
A man of real skill as you say, the guy took out an huge attack helicopter on his own in seconds.
My headcanon is that post-liberator of rubicon ending, BAWS/Elcano ends up becoming the flagship corporation of a burgeoning military industrial complex on Rubicon as the RLF transitions from a guerilla force to a rank and file military organization.
Nice!
A big thank you to twitter.com/DaAppleisBaking for the ending art which shows the next video topic.
Is the next video just about PCA Heavy Cavalry, or everything related to the Planetary Closure Administration?
Everything to do with the PCA. Honest much as i like to do videos on single crafts, there really is not enough there lore wise to make a video.
Very informative video. I love it. I can see why the Rubicon Liberation Front has a heart on BAWS. They believe everyone, no matter what faction or government, should have mt's. What I am really looking for are normals.
Thank you and well BAWS certainly have you covered with the mts.
Before I have to turn RUclips to Elmo videos after dinner with a toddler, I sit by myself and watch armored core lore. 😅
Ha ha know that feeling. Just had to watch an hour of postman pat with my niece before i got back to my own youtube watching.
@@armoredcorelore once the kids go to sleep. That's my time to play games and watch Mecha 😈
@@DamplyDoo Sounds good to me =)
I like the shockwavezaku look they gave there parts I stuck with them mostly when I played.
I just found your channel via Cleric Armored Core and I'm so glad! I'm developing a fan-made dating sim based on AC6 and these videos are so helpful in my research!
Cleric is an awesome ac youtuber so i am glad hear this. Happy the videos are helping with research too.
Please do you'll let me know when the dating sim is out as I'd love to give it a playthrough.
Can't help but be reminded of Squaresoft's logo before the change to Square Enix.
Hmmm you know now you say that.
Nice work on Baws corporation
Thank you.
I’d like to share the fun fact that in Scotland "all" in words often ends up as "aw". And so "BAWS" reads like "balls" to me and I laugh every time
Ha ha well that's kind of neat.
Wow, it is so awesome to see your channel is taking off! Your AC interests are really making it happen!
Very kind of you to say Nova, but as always i will say its really thanks to everyone willing to give my videos a chance.
Dont forget there thumb dolmayan's ac on investigate baws factory above. After u fight with 3 hiding ghost dont go in to the next stage, just go up. And saw the lying head down wrecked AC
Thank you for your hard work.
Thank you for the kind praise.
Balls
Ah all i can think about is a certain musical when people say this now ha ha.
The BAWS heavy MT remind me of the Moskoivan Heavy Quadruped Hound from From Software's other but less fortunate mech game: Chromehounds.
I need to do a lore video on Chromehounds. Just for fun.
@@armoredcorelore it was from software's most underrated game, some of its design choices would inspire some of the design choices of ACV and ACVD.
the only reason it sort of failed was because IGN slandered it with a minimal run on the online multiplayer which was the real selling point of the game.
@@Duke_of_Petchington it a shame as I was not much an online player but I liked the single player. It was different and fun.
I thought they would have made a tetrapod AC because they made the big tetrapod MTs
Would have given us more acs to mess with.
Me when I hear: armoredcorelore! 😊
=)
It's literally his catchphrase lmao
RLF: Hey... Do yo have, idk some new Armored Core model that I can buy?
BAWS: ACs?!
HAHAHAHAHA
NAHHHHH
Who need ACs?
What you need is MTs lots and lots of them and look
There is an army of those old reliable fellow right there, come come
RLF: Maaaan I should have go to Elcano
Ha ha just the poor Basho in the back covered in the dust.
Mmmh sweet sweet lore
I just wish there was more.
I wonder if there is anything on Elcano
To be honest not a lot so far, but the lore hunt is one that never ends.
Late reply to the video but for a company like BAWS designing arms that were almost entirely designed for a melee induced combat and close range fighting. They severely lacked in making melee weapons
They did, come on baws ha ha. Ah but to be fair the corporation was more sold to us as a mt factory anyway bless them.
@@armoredcorelore I hope if a DLC or second 6th gen AC game makes it in we see more about the Rubiconian Corporations, or an expanded range of weaponry that was previously unavailable regardless. Still loved the game like previous titles.
Oh you know me, From could let me just wander around the factories or bases as a normal person and i would spend hours taking it all. Give me masked npc too that spout lore or everyday things and I'd be gone for hours.
I swear Fromsoft kinda dropped the ball on their products, at least have another AC model, maybe a shoddy attempt at remaking the Ephemera. At least then Dunam, Zi Yi and Domayan can mix and match into their own thing and not just "BASHO but with different bits".
I would have liked more ac from Baws. But maybe there was not enough time or focus went somewhere else for the team. Shame really as more boxy ac's would have been neat.
Basho arms ftw!
Seriously pile bunker on my left missile launcher or shotgun on my right
They pretty sweet arms, but so few weapons from BAWS.
I enjoyed the Basho greatly and wished BAWS had a later model with a similar design philosophy like all the other corps, but sadly, we instead got a busted junk version of the Basho. AC6 did BAWS dirty.
You know i would have to agree with you there. I enjoyed the small time i had with the ac, so it would have been nice to get another Basho model ac which was not the junk one.
These guys give me anaheim electronics vibes
A gundam company in ac?! Ha ha AC and gundam do share a lot of ideas so i can see why.
My man nerding out with Armored Core epic videos as always
Ha ha thank you for your kind words.
next time: PCA (A.K.A fans of Gundam)
But you got to admit the ending art was pretty sick.
NOT FEDDIES
Do you plan to do a PCA video ?
I do in fact the preview for the next video at the end of this one is the very well drawn thumbnail and art for the PCA video this week.
ngl some of the baws parts like kikaku, kyorai and kyoriku being pronounced the way they were in the video weirded me out
but hey, more armored core content is never a bad thing~
Well i listened to a few pronounces guides and went with them. To be honest i will keep trying to learn the correct way to say these names, but its going to take a while.
So... muscle tracers mimic the movements of their users, right?
So how does the baws tetrapod MT work? What controls the other 2 legs?
@@armoredcorelore interesting! It could be a semi automated system perhaps?
@@murunbuchstanzangur It could well be well in the tetrapods case anyway. As old bishop mts we see back in ac1 and to be fair even here in ac6 now named Mt t 026 i am guessing would be able to controlled by a single pilot.
cool :3
Thanks.
Greetings
And salutations dear traveller of this vast digital land.
The Russian AC'S
Erm the "shi" sounds in BAWS named are pronounced "shee" not "sai". I believe BAWS uses japanese names for their parts.
Is that so, it is fun to learn. And yes the parts are named after famous Japanese poets.
This is Phezzan from Legend of the Galactic Heroes. The goddamn Swiss
Well i just went down a internet rabbit hole to find about all this. It was neat =)
